'Ancestor'

To the side the other female servants who had seen the small child being held in the arms of the young master had various thoughts when he had entered the specially prepared carriage.

Many had secretly gasped, then looked at the small girl with a discerning eye.

To them, they had never seen a child like this, in their kingdom a child like this was quite rare and their thoughts could not help but to Wander.

The girl was not chubby and white but rather a bit dirty, but she was nonetheless extremely cute.

The servants and bodyguards further thought that, perhaps once she is cleaned from all that dirt and grime she will become a little beauty.

Those are the first thoughts, who would conclude that this child was naturally this dark?

Already that head of hair was strange, so all things considered her would her golden skin tone not be a shock?

The young master Au, wore well-made skins and was extremely clean, so, why was the little one the young master guarded so closely so dirty?

Nevermind this though, since the young master seems to treat this small child extremely well, they, in extent will too as well.

It was a surprise that they looked healthy even though they had been in the forest for a few days and even more surprising that they survived.

The third young master Au, still had that aloof look, and his gaze seemed to have hardened.

Outside while some servants used their own beast to flank the carriage in front, some flew, while others jumped from area to area like a shadow becoming a simple blur.

They discussed among each other about this small dirty child having many thoughts but none going too far.

After all, one may have thoughts but to speak is another matter altogether.

While these servants from the Kai family felt relief and puzzled, the servants and guards from the Au family were distressed and leisurely in the search for their third young master.

The master had searched for the young master, while his maternal family had finally been the ones to locate him.

How many thoughts they would have after knowing the truth? Heh.

Who didn't know that his older brothers rejoiced at his misfortune?

With this brother gone, their mother can become the legal wife even if she is merely the second wife.

In the end they would become the legal sons, having all the glory of the Kai family.

It is just a pity that the third young master, Au, had been found.

His maternal family were not large but they held wealth and the remaining member, the mother of the deceased madam, had accumulated wealth.

The Kai family sees the young master as their only hope, so the old madam would keep this grandson in high regard.

The small child now cleaned Was then dressed, one of the servants had the power to create clothing from any material with little effort, so the clothing for the small girl fitted her perfectly.

The servant girl who had cleaned the small child tried her best to stay calm, but still panicked a bit.

This child… this child… she must treat well, if what her grandparents had told her before was true then this child will be treated like an ancestor.

Water dwellers were rare, who did not know that this world had once been like their mother planet, earth, had been a water planet a mere eighty thousand years ago?

Who was not aware that this planet's original people came from the sea, before they died out or had to adapt to land?

Before their arrival, the arrival of gods and the 'others'.

Quai Victoria was careful with the still sleeping child making sure to wipe her with clean slightly chilled water until her skin improved so that it could be improved.

Once it was seen that the small child could no longer absorb the precious liquid, she had then clothed her before tidying up her hair.

It was right for her to think of allowing her little sister to serve this 'ancestor'. Once finished Quai Victoria carefully hugged the child to her looking down at that flawless face, she really was a beauty, those slightly up tilted eyes, her small nose and shapely lips along with her prominent cheekbones, wide forehead, and now glistening soft skin.

"Give her to this young master,"

Quai Victoria felt rebellious but the pressure coming off from the young master almost suffocated her, and after all he was her master.

Reluctantly she handed over the child trying her best to keep a neutral face.

Once the small child had been handed over she watched the child who then snuggled immediately closer to the young master.

Such a thing, it would really make one want to cough blood but she had time, she will earn the trust of this tiny 'ancestor'.

Eying the other servant present who stared at the small bundle, Quai Victoria smiled.

She hoped they scorned her, just so that she could stand out in the eyes of the little ancestor.

The other servants present had their own opinions, the small girl was not dirty but is naturally dark.

Her skin which had seen a bit grey in some areas now had a sheen, skin smooth with a slight glow.

The child even though she was dark could still be called pretty, she would have been called a tiny doll if she was only white and chubby.

Still, this was the views of a few.

Who did not know the young master? He would never allow just anyone near, to hold a child like that so carefully with such gentleness clear in his eyes, it is clear this small girl was important and was more than meets the eye.

So they had an open mind, their thoughts becoming like so;

As for the little girl being held in the usually aloof third young master Au, she seemed to be responsible for saving his life.

The young master even though he is six has no survival skills so it is not him who had skinned the small mountain of pelts and skins.

Looking again at the golden skinned small child and pale form of the master the servant trembled before sending a quick message on his wristband to the old madam Kai.

~*So in this chapter you have seen me mention: young master Au and third young master Au. There is no error. To the Kai family servants and guards, he is the young master Au. To the Au family he is the third young master Au but as the only legal born son, he is still the next master. 

(Hope it clears up any confusion.)
