As per Lutsiver's stern command, a cavalry of sands rose from the floor that had turned into an endless wasteland, each of them had undying loyalty and wanted nothing more than to serve their one and only master. Then, the cavalry swiftly charged toward where Alfraed was standing from every possible direction.
All paths for retreat had been closed off completely.
"As the one being pursued, you can see how frightening the magic is…"
Looking at the incoming army that was constructed from countless materials that never learned of fear, Alfraed moved backward.
This was not a withdrawal, that particular action had not crossed his mind, the healer's purpose was to avoid involving other people.
This contest was between him and Lutsiver, who was the de facto leader of the party.
