Oliver Or Ruby?

His brother didn't even listen to Oliver. He left there with her and even complained against Oliver in the discipline council.

And he even dared to spread this matter in the forum. So this matter became a top discussion in the forum. Because it involved the campus beauty and their best professor Mr. Cold.

In the forum, there were a lot of comments about it. Some students thought Ruby was lying, some students thought Oliver was a bad person. However, none of them couldn't be proven by them.

Meanwhile, Oliver was not in a good situation. He was already having a headache so badly. But now Ruby caused him one more headache. He was confident of himself, but a little nervous because he had no evidence to prove himself. But he coaxed himself saying all is good.

He drank some pills to suppress his headache. But it didn't work. He wanted to go home. But he couldn't because he had to attend to Ruby's case. The discipline council would be active at 2 pm when the lectures were done. 

Oliver saw that he had an email from the council telling him, he must show up in the council because there was a complaint against him. He knew it was Ruby who complained. No matter what, he had to go there. But he was not feeling well. He regretted ignoring Daniel's advice in the morning. If only he didn't come, none of these wouldn't have happened. 

However, he would have to meet such a situation in the future. So he coaxed himself. He felt his body was weaker than in the morning and his head hurt so much. They were the early signs of a fever. So he swallowed two panadols and went to his class to do his lectures ignoring his illness.

He saw the class was looking at him strangely but didn't know it was because they already knew about the complaint filed against him. And his head throbbed more after seeing Ruby in the classroom even after doing such a thing. 

However, when the lecture ended, he felt his situation was getting even worse. He swallowed up more two panadol and left for the council. When he arrived there Ruby was already waiting for him.

The council welcomed Oliver and told him to sit down on the opposite side of where Ruby was. Ruby was there with her mother and brother. Oliver ignored their glares and sat in his place because he was annoyed with all of them.

The council included three people. One of them was the headmaster of the campus. And the other two were senior lecturers. One of them was a woman and she took the lead since it was about sexual harassment.

"Okay then, let's start. First, Ruby should explain to us what happened clearly."

"Yes ma'am!"

Ruby said politely and started to release the lie she had already prepared.

"I went to his cabin in the morning because I had a lesson I struggled with. So I wanted to clear it up. However, when I said that to him, not only he refused me but also asked me something in return if I wanted to learn it."

When she was speaking, eventually tears broke down and fell down through her flushed cheeks.

That made others totally take pity on her. Even Oliver almost believed her lies because her acting skills were damn good.

While she was explaining the scene, she didn't know all the students were overhearing them. The students felt so curious and wanted to hear out the whole session during the judgement. So they put a voice recorder in Ruby's brother's pant pocket so smoothly that he didn't even know he was helping them to overhear.

The students were still on campus. They joined in a group call and listened to their conversation secretly. But none of them in the council room didn't know that almost every student was listening to them.

Ruby didn't want to complain in the first place. But her brother forced her. She knew it would cause trouble for her. So she intended to put all the blame on Oliver and save her name.

"Okay, then after that?" The woman in the council asked her again.

"Then he hugged me and told me that he likes me. And said If I also like him back, he could help me. But I refused and tried to get rid of him. But he suddenly yelled at me and touched me unnecessarily. That's when my brother came and helped me."

She wiped her tears and stole a glance from Oliver. But seeing he was all calm she couldn't help but panic.

"Then, Professor Oliver, Do you have anything to say?"

The headmaster turned to Oliver and asked him.

"What she said was all a lie. She is trying to frame me."

Oliver was so honest. His voice carried a lot of confidence.

"Then tell us what happened."

He asked again.

But before Oliver could reply, suddenly something hard hit his cheek. That's when he realised that Ruby's mother had slapped him. His head felt dizzy suddenly and he hugged his head and eventually, he gained a clear vision again.

But none of the people in the room didn't bother to ask him if he was okay. Because he was the one who got complained against.

They didn't even have many reactions when she slapped Oliver. 

When the sound of slap was heard by the students on the group call, they couldn't help but be too stunned. They realised that their professor got slapped even before he explained things. That was unfair. And the council was still silent.

"Ma'am, please behave yourself."

The woman warned her once and then turned to Oliver again. Oliver felt his cheek hot after getting slapped. His headache became even worse. But he ignored it and started to tell that everything happened. He told everything even without missing a single point.

"That day she didn't come alone. She came with her friends asking for a lesson which was already hard for them. I was on a call and I gave them a book to observe that lesson through. When I finished my call and went there, they told me they got it and decided to leave. But Ruby told me that she wants to talk alone and asked her friends to leave."

"Why did you let her talk with you alone?" Suddenly the woman disturbed.

"Because she told me it was private. I thought she needed some kind of help, that's why I let her. And she was not the only student who asked for help."

Oliver said while touching his throbbing head. Then continued again.

"But she asked me unnecessary questions. I refused to answer and she suddenly told me that she likes me. When she said that she was already hugging me. I told her to let go. But she didn't and I got angry, so I yelled at her. That's when her brother came and took her away."

When he was done with the explanation, the students were left speechless.

'Did our campus beauty tell that?'

'Professor is not that shameless to build up such a story!'

'Professor is lying! He is a pervert!'

'Ruby is a bitch! She dared to frame our Mr. Cold.'

The students commented on their ideas in chat.

They excitedly waited for the council to give a judgement.

"Professor Oliver, you said she hugged you. Then why didn't you push her away? I don't think you are weaker than her."

That was the thing Oliver was waiting for. He knew this would come.

"I was not feeling well. I was dizzy even when I left the home. I should have taken a leave unless my students aren't waiting for me."

When the students heard that, they felt sorry for him and respect aroused in their hearts. Their professor made it here for them.

"Guys, I am sorry, but I have to tell you something important about this."

Suddenly a voice sounded in their group call. A girl talked, attracting the students' minds toward her.
