Mystic Power of the Temple

I looked at Demina and glared at her. We both waited for one another to make a move. We looked at each other then I decided to make the first move. I dashed forward and slashed. She blocked the attack and slid backwards a bit. She looked up and noticed me running towards her. I slashed in a circle and she tried to block it, but her guard broke immediately because of me using a charged attack. Hikari dashed forward and hit Demina with a Flash Rush, striking her left and right at light speeds then kicked her away.

"Shining Celeste!" Hikari bellowed and a pillar of light struck Demina then an explosion happened, blowing Demina away.

Demina resisted the attack and dashed forward towards us. She ran passed Hikari and went straight for me. "Burst Skill: Infinity Strike." She said then began to go for a barrage of stabs at me.

I parried each attack then pushed her away and my eyes shined brightly. "Final Burst: Worldly Iridescence!" I bellowed and my 10th Weapon Skill activated. My sword shined all six colors and I flew to Demina then struck her. A bright light shined and everyone covered their eyes.

The light dimmed and Demina stumbled backwards a bit. She took my sword out of her body then threw it at me. I caught it and she coughed blood then fell onto one knee. She closed her eyes and slowly began to turn into magic particles.

"I won't allow you to die! Demina evolve!" The masked woman commanded.

Demina's body shined and she began to change. Her blue eyes turned into baby blue, her silver hair turned pure white. She stood up and summoned ten floating swords. Five swords floated behind her left side of her back and the other five floated behind her right side of her back. The swords acted like wings and she looked at us. I looked at her and scanned her.

"You are looking at the Augmented Sphere called the Oracle Core. This core boosts all parameters by 140% and boosts the power of all light elemental attacks. Acquiring this Sphere wasn't easy, but now that Demina has it...She is practically unstoppable and I'm not stopping there! I'm gonna activated my personal field effect!" The masked woman said.

She held her hand out and the battlefield shined brightly then angelic statues appeared on the battlefield then began to boost Demina's power.

"This Field Effect..." I said.

"That's right. This field effect is a Field Effect used by the Goddess of Guidance herself named Holy Grounds. This basically makes all other elements useless while boosting Light Units' parameters by 200%! You're finished Shin! There is nothing you can do anymore!" The woman laughed.

I smirked and closed my eyes. "That's what you think...but you must've forgot who I am." I said then opened my eyes and activated my Overdrive Gauge.

"What do you mean?" The woman asked.

"I am one of the top five of the USA Servers with one of the most broken weapons in the game. The Oath of All is more than a hyper offensive blade and I'll show you right here! Overdrive Art: Legendary Virtue!" I bellowed then transformed into my Virtuous Form.

The woman and Demina looked at me surprised then Demina stepped back feeling my incredible boost in power. She noticed my allies were also empowered by my Weapon Skills. I spread my wings and high winds blew.

"Master! We can deactivate the Field Effect by destroying the statues!" Yuki said then gripped her cane tightly.

"You all handle the statues, I'll keep Demina busy!" I said then launched myself towards Demina.

"Focus Demina! Strike him down now!" The woman yelled.

Demina looked at me then dashed towards me. She bellowed and went for a slash, but my body auto dodged the attack and I slashed, hitting Demina. She groaned loudly and my eyes shined brightly. I yelled and sent her flying in the air then flew after her. I appeared above her and kicked her down. She looked at me and sent her blade wings at me. I parried each of the blades and noticed them crashing back down at me. I dodged each one and flew down to her.

She landed on her feet and her wing blades returned to her back. She watched me land on my feet and she dashed to me going for a barrage of attacks. I dodged each attack then parried her final attack then hit her with a Truthseeking Raid. I struck her quickly in all of her weak spots then combo'd the final strike into my Full Death Striker, knocking her away. She groaned as she rolled on her side.

"How is he overpowering her so easily..?! There is no way he should be this powerful!" The woman groaned in frustration.

Yuki shot a Dark Beam EX at the statue and one of the statues were destroyed. "That's one statue down!"

"Blazing Thrust!" Shelly bellowed and lodged her lance into the statue then slashed upwards, destroying another statue. "That's my statue down!"

Demina stood up and felt her power weakening. She looked at her hands then looked at Hikari and Ophelia who were about to destroy the next statues. I flew towards Demina then kicked her away. She grunted and rolled on the ground then recovered, sliding backwards on one knee. She looked at me and stood up.

"I won't let you win! I won't let you take me down! Final Burst Skill: Holy Erosion!" She bellowed and her wing blades circled around her then pointed at me, unleashing a powerful beam of light at me.

I parried the beam back towards her. Demina looked at the beam and looked surprised then was hit by it and a massive explosion happened.

Ophelia managed to destroy the statue she was fighting. "I got mine down!" Ophelia called out.

Hikari destroyed the statue she was fighting and grunted softly. She exhaled then looked at us, noticing the Field Effect going down. "Finally...The effect is gone.."

I reverted back to my normal form once my Overdrive Gauge ran out. I exhaled and looked at Demina. She slowly stood up and looked at us. She exhaled then glared at me. She yelled and dashed towards me, but Shelly rushed in front of me. She used her Burning Guard against Demina's attack then parried her and used Blazing Thrust. She bellowed and used Cindering Impalement, charging forward then slashed upwards, slicing Demina in half then Demina dispersed into magic particles. I picked up the Augmented Spheres that Demina had then looked at the woman.

The woman looked surprised then smirked and crossed her arms. "I'm impressed that you defeated her so swiftly...but now it's my turn to face off against you!"

"Not today.." A voice said.

I noticed the masked figure appear beside the woman. The masked figure held his hand out towards us and Athena floated towards us. I caught Athena in my arms and looked at the masked figure.

"You are needed elsewhere, Astrid." The masked figure said then turned around.

"Wait a second!" I called out then the masked figure turned around and looked at me. "Why are you doing all of this just for a perfect universe? You're going to kill so many people! Their souls are bound to their account now! If they die here...they are gone for good!"

"Sacrifices must be made for a perfect future and if that mean we have to kill millions for that perfect future...then so be it. If you wish to stop it, you must stop the Grand Order...all of us." The masked man said then warped away with Astrid.

I looked at Athena who was in my arms, still passed out. I decided to warp us all back to town and took her to my home. We walked into my home and I walked to the living room then laid her down on the couch. Hikari looked at Athena and sat on the ground in front of her. I took out a Goddess Revive then crushed it and sprinkled the magic particles on her body.

Athena grunted softly and scrunched her eyes then slowly opened them. She looked at us and sat up quickly. She looked around and looked at Hikari. "Hikari!" She said happily and hugged her.

Hikari hugged her back and smiled happily. I looked at them and noticed they had a high bond with each other. They let each other go then Hikari looked at me.

"Master Shin is the one who really saved you. He used this awesome form and he looked like an angel. I am grateful to have run into him when I did. Now we have you back!" Hikari smiled happily.

"Shin..." Athena looked at me and smiled then got up to walk towards me. She hugged me and I looked at her then hugged her back. "Thank you...I truly appreciate you saving me. When that masked man kidnapped me with that woman, it was a very scary moment. I didn't know how to react..that masked figure is so powerful..he defeated me in one hit even when I am an Eight Star."

"Wait, you battled the masked figure?" I asked and let her go then she let me go and nodded.

"He had an ability that made it to where he couldn't take any damage for some unknown reason. It's as if he was invincible against people like me. I don't know how to get through his ability. Maybe I'm just not meant to fight him." Athena said then sat down on the couch.

I looked at her and crossed my arms then sat beside her. "His motives are clear. He intends to kill everyone and everything in this game. I need to take him down by any means necessary. I can't allow him to go through with it..."

"I'll help you the best way I can. Even if it seems grim and that there isn't a thing we can do, the best we can do is try something. I don't even know the name of his ability but...it has something to do with sins. He said that he is the bearer of Weakness, he is the embodiment of Lies, he is the bringer of Injustice, he is Despair, he is the Guide to Darkness, and he is the taker of Life." Athena said.

"Weakness...Lies...Injustice...Despair...Deception...and takes Life..? Those are the exact opposites of the Virtues. Those are Sins. He is the embodiment of the Six Sins of this universe. I think I understand his ability...I am the only one who can combat him since I am the Embodiment of the Six Virtues." I said.

"Sins and Virtues..." She said then looked at my stats. "If you are the Oath...he is the Perjury. How does one gain that power though..?"

"No clue, but all I know is I have to stop him no matter what. He seems to be behind more than just the monster attacks as well. We need to get stronger, but it seems the enemies level up with us. Each time we get stronger the enemies get stronger." I said.

"I see...Let's not get any stronger unless we need to then if that is the case." Athena nodded and smiled then sent me a friend invite in which I accept. "I'm joining your party. I have weapons that can break an opponent's guard no matter how stronger their defenses are. My weapons also ignore the target's defense."

I nodded then added her to my party. "We could use you at the graveyard as well if you want to accompany us there as well."

"I don't mind. I'd love to accompany you at the graveyard as well." Athena smiled. We nodded at each other and made things official.
