Chapter 7

[A/N:Before anyone jumps to ask why Hadrian didn't use Apparation in this ,it is because of he is in White witches territory,which is masked my her winter magic.If he does Apparate he will end up next to her castle,so he goes by foot and he cannot fly because the winter.]

Hadrian track down the siblings to the Beavers den,but he found it was empty.So to find them Hadrian cast a Patronus,Then... a light splinters the trees.A Fiery stag appear... its body luminous... slashing through the trees and it runs in the direction of the Beaver.

While he knew this might alert the witch,but time was of the essense,since he knew the trees around could pretty much infrom the witch.

Ed walking to the Witch's castle without his coat. The others were trying hard to catch up to him.

Peter yelled"Hurry!"

They reach the top of the hill and sees the Castle of White Witch, they saw what must be the White Witch's House. And the moon was shining brighter than ever. The House was really a small castle. It seemed to be all towers; little towers with long pointed spires on them, sharp as needles. They looked like huge dunce's caps or sorcerer's caps. And they shone in the moonlight and their long shadows looked strange on the snow.

Edmund in the distance can be seen going through the Witch's castle gate, Lucy seeing him shouted"Edmund!"

Mr. Beaver shushed them and said"Shh! They'll hear ya!"

Peter starts to run after Edmund but Mr. Beaver grabs him by the sleeve of his coat stopping,Peter in anger yelled"Get off me!"

Mr. Beaver explained"You're playing into her hands."

Susan cut in"We just can't let him go!"

Lucy with a worried tone added"He's our brother!"

Mr. Beaver told them"He's the bait! The Witch wants all four of ya!"

Peter in confusion questioned"Why?"

Mr. Beaver answered"To stop the prophecy from coming true! To kill ya!"

The three children stare horrified.Susan turning to Peter and said"This is all your fault."

Peter questioned"My fault?"

Susan replied"None of this would have happened if you had just listened to me in the first place!"

Peter in anger asked"Oh, so you knew this would happen?"

Susan sigh and said"I didn't know what would happen.Which is why we should have left while we still could!"

Lucy yelled"Stop it! This isn't going to help Edmund."

Mr. Beaver agreed and added"She's right. Only Aslan can save your brother now."

Peter with a serious tone replied"Then take us to him."

They turn and watch as the gates shut behind Edmund.That's when they noticed a light, the siblings squint and it was Stag and it's body was luminous...They all felt hope rise in their hearts.

Mr.Beaver spoke up"I heard Badger speak about this, he told me that.It's Prince Hadrian'a magic, I remember him saying how pure the magic was and took then for a stag made out of light and when standing in front of it will fill you with hope."

Then Hadrian'a voice came from the Stag Patronus"Beavers this is me Hadrian, I am by your House and my father sent me to escort you and children to the camp.Make sure to come quickly, we are running our of time, since I can sense the trees are moving."

Mr.Beaver turning to the kids said"We have to go, Aslan is the only one who can who can help you."

Peter, Susan and Lucy knew this was the only way, they made their way back to Beaver Den to find a young man with green eyes and messy black hair waiting for them.He was wearing some armor, which surprised them since he should have been freezing in it.

Beavers bowed and the siblings followed suit, while Hadrian waved it off and said"Where is the fourth?"

Mr.Beaver spoke up"He betrayed them,my prince."

Hadrian knew things just got complicated, while Susan wanted to think something and said"She is a witch, she is probably controlling him."

Hadrian nodded and replied"It is possible, she has such powers."

But there talk was cut short because Hadrian heard something come there way, Hadrian said"The secret police is coming this way."

Mr.Beaver gesturing them inside said"Come on inside."

The wolves are already at the dam. Hadrian could feel the magical aura and muttered"Maugrim is here."

Maugrim,who also known as Fenris Ulf, was a ferocious talking wolf in Narnia, and the captain of the White Witch's Secret Police at the very end of the Long Winter.

He was also one of the White Witch's most loyal followers, and was known for his cruelty and viciousness to the other Narnians.Hadrian had clash with Maugrim before and Hadrian almost kill him,but now Hadrian could sense Maugrim is more powerful and the White Witch empowered him.

Hadrian told everyone"We have to move."

Everyone gasps as the wolves start attacking the dam.The wolves breaking through the wood, but the wolves get in.The place is empty. One starts pawing at a door, opens it and peers down a tunnel.

Inside the tunnel.Mr. Beaver explained"Badger and me dug this. Comes out right near his place."

Mrs. Beaver hearing this was angry spoke up"You told me it led to your mum's!"

Lucy trips on a root…howling can be heard, Susan helped her up, while Lucy said"They're in the tunnel."

Mr. Beaver walking and guiding them said"Quick! This way."

They continue to run further but come to dead end,while Hadrian used conguiration to block thr path,but wasn't sure how long it will hold up.

Hadrian heard Mrs. Beaver say"You should have brought a map!"

Mr. Beaver argued"There wasn't room next to the jam!"

Hadrian spoke"Now is not the timem"

MrBeaver nods and. jumpss up and into the hole. Everyone else follows,with Hadrian beimg the last.

Lucy backs away as the others emerge, trips and falls flat on her back. Peter and Mr. Beaver roll a barrel in front of the hole, Mr. Beaver turns and his face drops when he sees what Lucy tripped over – little woodland creatures turned to stone. Mr. Beaver walks up to a stone Badger and touches its paw.

Mrs. Beaver comforts her husband and said"I'm so sorry, dear"

Mr. Beaver replied'He was my best mate."

Hadrian muttered"Don't worry,I can bring him back."

Mr and Mrs Beaver smiled hearing thi s, while Peter asked"What happened here?"

A fox appears on a little ledge above the Badger hole spoke up"This is what becomes of those who cross the Witch."

Mr. Beaver coming in front warned"You take one more step, traitor, and I'll chew you to splinters!"

Fox calmly replieded"Rlaxx. LI'm one of the good guys"

Mr. Beaver not believing said"Yeah? Well, you look an awful lot like one of the bad ones."

Hadrian smiled and said"He is one of my friends.

This caused the Pevensies and Beavers to be suprised, while Fox turned to Hadrian and bow said"It is good to see you again,My Prince."

This made everyone look at Hadrian, who smiled at Fox and then added"Since we got past the argument regarding my unfortunate family resemblance, so we've got to move."

Peter looking at Hadrian and Fox asked"What did you have in mind?"

Wolves burst out of the barreled up hole and encircle the Fox who was in the process of covering the tracks with his tail before they came.

Fox: Greetings, gents. Lost something, have we?

Maugrim circles the fox and with a growl said'Don't patronize me! I know where your allegiance lies. We're looking for some humans."

Fox laughs and asked"Humans? Here in Narnia? That's a valuable bit of information, don't you think?"

One of the other wolves pounces on the fox and grabs him harshly in his jaws. Maugrim walks right up to him and said"Your reward is your life. It's not much, but still. Where were the fugitives?"

The Fox hangs his head in shame and points with a paw and replied"North. They ran north."

Maugrim ordered his pack"Smell them out."

Wolf casts aside the fox and runs off. Fox lies still on the ground.

While Hadrian, along with Beavers and Pevensie siblings appeared out of nowhere.Hadrian had created a barrier around them making the wolf's unable to see, smell or hear them.
