Just like that, with the sound of Luffy and Usopp fighting and Chopper cheering them on, the Going Merry set sail.
The crew's departure was rather hectic, as Kureha went on a rampage, attacking Chopper while claiming that she wouldn't allow him to leave. Although it was rather obvious to Yuna that Kureha simply didn't want a tear-filled sendoff. Well, that or she was angry that Nami had scammed her out of the medical fees by pocketing a key that Wapol had dropped after getting blasted away by Luffy.
Suddenly, canon shots could be heard ringing all over Drum Island, and after looking back, everyone's eyes widened in surprise. The island's biggest mountain was engulfed by a giant pink cloud, making it look like a colossal cheery-blossom tree. While the rest of the crew simply admired the view, snot, and tears were flowing down Chopper's face like a waterfall as the view in front of him was the dream of his first friend: Doctor Hiriluk.
Time passed, and Chopper quickly got used to the crew's antics. Luffy and Usopp even convinced him to stick chopsticks up his nose and dance around.
Meanwhile, Yuna was sitting with her back, leaning on Merry's mast, meditating. She had been absorbing the energy of nature since she arrived in this world, and by now, she had made pretty decent advancements. Places like Drum Island, which were covered in ice, and Little Garden, which was full of ancient greenery, helped her advance quite a bit, allowing her to strengthen her body quite a bit.
Cultivation-wise, what she was currently doing would be called body-strengthening cultivation, as the energy of nature in this world was filled with vitality. So far, she hasn't figured out if spiritual cultivation is possible in this world, while she didn't bother about soul cultivation, as that was something not necessary for her current state. Well, if she wasn't carefully controlling the aspect of her soul, she was pretty sure that her own body couldn't stand it, just like how it was in her previous life when she erased Danzo.
Anyway, not too far away from Yuna sat Nami. Just like Yuna, she had her eyes closed and was sitting cross-legged. Unlike Yuna, she was sitting on a cushion, but that didn't really matter.
After Little Garden and Drum Island, Nami realized that she was quite weak compared to her other crew mates, except for Usopp. Although Yuna shrugged Nami's concerns off, claiming that she didn't have to be that strong because she was the ship's navigator, Nami insisted that she wanted to become stronger to help Vivi.
So, Yuna took some time to teach her a cultivation method that aligned well with her affinity toward weather in general. One might reasonably argue that it was dangerous to have the ship's navigator meditating during the journey on the sea, but meditating actually made Nami more sensitive to the weather, making it easier for her to detect incoming storms.
And, as if to confirm that, Nami suddenly opened her eyes and looked into the distance with a frown on her face.
"Hard starboard, a storm is coming!"
Despite nothing like that being even remotely visible, Usopp didn't hesitate for even a second and quickly changed the Going Merry's course, causing Vivi to look at the situation in confusion. As far as she was concerned, it was impossible to predict the weather on the Grand Line, but the rumbling of thunder a few minutes later quickly proved that those thoughts were wrong.
Well, the weather on the Grand Line certainly was hard to predict, but it certainly wasn't impossible. It's just that the Kingdom Arabasta wasn't much of a see-faring nation, so the information Vivi had about navigation was limited.
Well, at the end of the day, Nami's skills in predicting the weather were rather outrageous in the first place, far above what an average navigator of the Navi could do, only equaled by the Navi's top navigators.
However, on top of that, Yuna's cultivation techniques made Nami even more sensitive to the weather, quickly elevating her navigation skills close to the best of the world. She only lacked experience in navigating the Grand Line.
Well, the storm was easily dodged, and the Going Merry continued sailing toward Arabasta; however, a problem popped up around a day later...
"YOU BASTARD!!! YOU ATE ALL OUR FOOD, DIDN'T YOU!?"
"I-I don't know what you are talking about whistles."
"Oh? I see; however, there seem to be some food crumbs on your lips."
"DAMNIT! I DIDN'T WIPE THEM AWAY PROPERLY!!!"
"SO IT REALLY WAY YOU!!!"
BOOM
Overnight, all the food in the kitchen mysteriously vanished, resulting in Sanji instantly considering Luffy the culprit. After luring him into a small verbal trap, Sanji confirmed his suspicions, instantly kicking Luffy into a wall.
"Now, now, Sanji, don't damage the ship while beating up Luffy."
"Okay, Yuna-chwan~"
While Yuna was casually munching on some of the food she stole before Luffy could eat it all, she scolded Sanji not to damage the ship while beating up Luffy. Obviously, she was eating the food out of Sanji's sight, making sure no one knew she was one of the culprits as well.
Simultaneously, Nami noticed that Chopper, Usopp, and Karoo were also munching on some food. This resulted in a beatdown from Nami, making Yuna the only culprit who got away with her crime.
Some more time passed, and Nami was back meditating. She couldn't help but sigh again and again because of what she was feeling.
She could feel herself getting stronger by the hour. Not only was she getting stronger, but all of her senses improved more and more, making it easier to feel what was going on around her. This made it much easier to predict the weather of the Grand Line. No matter how skeptical Nami initially was about Yuna supposedly being from another world, by now, she could only accept that as the truth. She was no longer capable of explaining Yuna's weirdness away with her just being weird.
Well, at the end of the day, she could only be happy about getting stronger. Right now, she was in a position where the others had to protect her, and she was happy to get out of such a position. She was fully aware that as the ship's navigator, she didn't need to be powerful, but that didn't mean she didn't want to help out the crew in matters not related to navigation.
After all, Luffy was going to be the King of the Pirates, so how could one of his crew mates be weak? No. In the end, she knew that she would have to pull her own weight at some point, and she was fully aware that she was currently taking her first steps in that direction.
Obviously, she would do everything she could to get stronger, so not only did she ask Yuna for help with this... Heaven Earth Usurping... well, whatever Yuna called it, but she also asked Usopp to make her a weapon. She couldn't help but be curious about what kind of weapon Usopp would craft for her.
Anyway, back to Yuna's... thing. Frankly, considering the incomprehensibly long name Yuna used, Nami decided to just call it cultivation, but every time she called it that, she felt someone complaining about her doing so.
"I'm so hungry~"
A few hours later, Luffy, who was fishing, felt his stomach rumble as if he hadn't gobbled down multiple weeks of food supplies hours ago. This swiftly earned him a kick from Sanji and a knock on the head from Nami.
""WHOSE FAULT DO YOU THINK IT IS THAT WE HAVE NO FOOD!?""
While Nami and Sanji were beating up Luffy, Yuna smiled wryly and shrugged her shoulders. She removed her shirt and trousers, revealing that she was wearing swimwear underneath her clothes.
"Well, I might as well get some food since there is nothing better to do~"
The moment Yuna started undressing, revealing her two-part swimsuit, Sanji started drooling, while Vivi became worried, realizing what Yuna wanted to do.
"Please wait a moment, you shouldn't..."
Splash
Before Vivi could finish speaking, Yuna had already jumped into the sea, leaving Vivi dumbfounded before she started panicking.
"This is bad! The currents in the Grand Line are too unpredictable and unstable! Even if she dives only for a few seconds, she could be very far away from the ship when she resurfaces! We need to get her out of the water!"
However, despite her warning, none of the crew showed much of a reaction, while Luffy even chuckled a little.
"Don't worry, Vivi. If Yuna decided that jumping in the water would be fine, then it will be fine, shishishis~"
"Yeah, no worries, Vivi. Despite how she occasionally acts, Yuna knows what she is doing."
Vivi could only look at the rest of the crew, and seeing that everyone seemed to pretty much have the same opinion, she couldn't help but be dumbfounded at how confident everyone was that Yuna was fine. Despite being worried, Vivi took a few deep breaths and calmed down, attempting to imitate the confidence the rest of the crew had in Yuna.
Minutes later, Yuna's head popped out of the sea, a colossal dead fish surfacing at the same time. She quickly made an ice platform to stand on, she looked around, her head tilting in confusion.
"Well, shit. Where is the Going Merry?"
Although Yuna had quite a lot of experience, it was not like she had any knowledge about the Grand Line, so it couldn't be helped that she underestimated how chaotic it was. At the end of the day, it was not like she was out of options, so she quickly sat down and focused on her senses, allowing her to perceive everything around her in a much greater radius.
And, she actually found the Going Merry, sailing quite the distance from her. So, she picked up the huge fish she had just killed, encasing it in ice to keep it fresh, and moved toward the Going Merry by making small ice platforms on the sea.
Around a minute later, she arrived at her destination, and what she was seeing on the Going Merry's deck confused her a little, as there were two Namis on board. One of them was wearing the clothes she wore before she dove into the sea, while the other one was wearing a pompous ballerina outfit with fake swans protruding out from her shoulders. Considering that Yuna could feel that the second one had a Devil Fruit ability, it wasn't hard to figure out which one was the real one.
The moment Yuna landed on the ship's deck, the fake Nami pulled down her clothes, revealing her breast, resulting in the real Nami instantly beating the shit out of the fake one while Yuna gave the fake one a thumbs up.
"Thanks for the preview~"
Hearing Yuna's words, everyone's gaze was directed at her, and seeing her carrying a massive fish, Luffy started drooling instantly, while Sanji's eyes were shining, already looking forward to the meals he could prepare for Yuna, Nami, and Vivi with such a huge fish.
"Oh? To think there was another beauty on this ship. You're my type~"
Hearing someone looking like Nami saying that, Yuna briefly considered "attacking" them, but considering Yuna didn't know what the person in front of her actually looked like, she decided against it.
"Well, I don't mind having some fun with Nami and her twin..."
"OI!!!"
"IT'S THE ALL BLUE!!!"
"...who exactly are you?"
Hearing Yuna's words, the fake Nami toucher, her cheek with her hand, resulting in her turning into a middle-aged man that had his face plastered with massive amounts of makeup, instantly causing Yuna's interest to vanish. Naturally, neither Yuna nor the middle-aged man acknowledged Nami and Sanji's interruptions.
"My name is BON CLAY! And I possess the power of the Clone-Clone fruit, allowing me to copy the body of everyone who I have touched before!"
While making his introduction, Bon Clay took a weird ballerina pose, but while doing so, he met Yuna's eyes, causing him to freeze.
The duo held eye contact for quite a while, confusing the rest of the crew, who wondered if Yuna knew this unknown man. Then, after a few seconds of staring at each other, seemingly in recognition, both of them started speaking simultaneously.
""Ah, a pervert.""
