[Translation Quality] 4/5 a. First thing, MTL vs TL. Even though I am not a Chinese speaker, i have consulted with someone who is (credits to Weirdo) and the latest chapter indicates a proper translation by Chinese speakers and not a machine translation. The TL is coherent enough albeit he didn't like how the "Demonic Sound Clan" was TL-ed among a few trivialities. So whatever the past teams did or whatever the past staff of this translation brand did, the current staff are not MTL-ing. I would suggest to the new staff to make TL notes on character names, faction names, chinese characters and their explanations on why they were translated that way and other possible translations, and indent that stuff at the end of chapters as it would showcase that they actually think about this and give the users some peace over how they treat this work in terms of translation. b. Naming Standardization. I haven't re-read the whole novel, so i don't know what the current state of the past chapters is. Naming standardization was not bad. The only thing i could complain about in the past was that the editors couldn't agree upon the name writing styles (combined or separated). Examples (each line is one character's name): - YaJi / Ya Ji - Cao Zhilan / Cao Zhi Lan - He Qingman / He Qing Man I don't know how things are now, so take this as a grain of salt, or the staff can take it as a suggestion to edit if they missed some character names so users can find it easier to google search characters to brush up on their past appearances and involved events. A poll on whether separated or combined are more memorable or not would be good, as user input is important and a poll can be indented at the end of a chapter like TL notes. I suggest the staff use polls from time to time since user-staff interaction is bad on this site, or at least indent a Discord channel or some chat channel or something where the staff can be reached instead of e-mail, as it is more interactive in regards to user feedback on grammar and spelling and other. c. Grammar was sometimes great and sometimes horrible in the past. Again, i don't know how things changed in this regard now when it comes to past chapters. The new chapters were very readable with a few spelling or grammar mistakes. After copy-pasting Chapter 299 into notepad++, i instantly found about 4 or 5 legitimate spelling mistakes by scrolling through it and observing what words were underlined, with 2 or 3 false positives, and it took me 30 or so seconds to do this. [World] The world is rich and vast, with cultivation and laws sculpting some places geographically and climatically. I would suggest to the users to write a glossary of places and factions and their descriptions as they may need it. ======================= ===SOME SPOILERS BELOW==== ======================= [Cultivation & Martial Arts] This novel has an inheritance system for cultivation. Interesting concept which becomes less and less relevant the more the story advances because the MC becomes part of a cultivation world where everyone has powers. I wish the author focused a bit more on this, but i guess it's too early for me to say anything. I would suggest to the readers to especially write the skills and descriptions of the powers that the MC gains through the story, because it will immensely help with visualizing the battles and understanding what is going on. The author didn't make it memory-friendly. The battles themselves are damn fun in my opinion though. [Story & Characters] The MC is an anti-hero. He's not as evil as Warlock of the Magus World MC, but also not nice either. If you want a novel with someone who has a moral superiority complex and a boner for justice and ethics and all that boring jazz, seek another work. The MC is selfish and cares mostly about survival and adventurism. His personality of an adrenaline junkie passed on into the new world, with his wisdom and intelligence rising as he goes through the story and has new experiences, but his soul remaining the same. You can regard him as a vagabond who only stays in places if they provide power. He is not a hypocrite and admits on doing things on his whim. He is also lecherous, which comes with an "i can die any day, so i might as well" attitude as well as his way of steaming-off from his adrenaline and/or special cultivation technique. The work is NSFW, so all easily triggered and frustrated feminists, conservative religious soccer mommies, and sexual moralists in general, seek another work instead of producing farts in the comments that only serve to stink up the room and achieve nothing beyond that. The characters are varied, even among the powerful ones, and apart from the cliche like arrogant seniors you also have seniors who step back and think before building enmity with the MC. Some characters are forgotten, some characters come back to have interesting interactions, so i can't say there's nothing to lose in memorizing characters. Write a glossary as you read. Side-character focused scenes don't take too much of the reader's time most of the times as they usually take up a quarter or third of a chapter when they happen; but they all have a purpose and aren't exactly fillers. The story itself isn't bad in terms of development speed; it's among the average level leaning slightly towards fast. ========= To the staff i would suggest: Make a glossary page for the readers. Make it in chronological order of introduction and emphasize it as that because this is a good spoiler-countermeasure as readers then know up to which line to check the glossary. It is not only for the good of the users, but also for the good of the staff in regards to naming standardization.

I almost didn't start reading this novel because of all the negative comments about the quality of the translations. I'm glad I started though. In my opinion there are some spelling errors, typing errors and grammar mistakes at times but it's nowhere as bad as all the comments indicate. Well, let me put it this way: the quality of translation absolutely does NOT affect my joy of reading, I get so engaged in the story that I don't even make note of the mistakes oftentimes. I don't know if the earlier chapters later on had been fixed and updated but what I can tell you now, that if you are interested in the plot, go ahead and read it, it is really a good read. So, thank you translators for your hard work. Also, please increase chapter upload per week, because I'm about to catch up and worried that because of the long wait, I'll loose interest in this novel in future, like so it happened with a few others.

Story is great (world setting, char development, etc). But what makes it shiiiiiity for me is Cuz of translators behavior. First he censored chap 801 sexual content(and he demand of $5 USD to allow a access of half champ of sexual content). OK I get it, it's probably qudians demand to censor sexual content, but can you not been greedy to pay $5. Fuk you could have just linked it for free (as we are already paying premum [10+ spirt stone]) or just keep your ****ty mouth shut. But noooo you had to comment more on chapter 803 or 804 about how it's only for real supporter. Bitch ain't I pay for your ****ty premum chapter? LOL, we all saw your hungry greedy ass and you put chap 801 on, Cuz all people saw your true color. Currently at chapter 632. Story has no substance. There's no real goal, it feels like the author doesn't know which way he's heading. Too many Arcs with no real plot. Basically, there's no momentum at all. No excitement. The villains get killed with no real satisfaction because...again, no momentum. Even the romance has no substance. The harem has no glue. All the side characters doesn't leave you with any impression at all. If i have to describe this in one word: Bland.

I’m ashamed I even lasted as long as I did. Too much sexual harassment, sexual assault, and flat out rape. Guys can justify this all they want, but as a girl, I can’t stand this crap. Love the novel and it is nice to know you read my email. ^_^ The novel is a captivating one that is not based on a hero who will kill who he wants in the name of justice. Dark protagonist, a heartless enemies, choosy females, researcher artifacts and ancient ruins , a lot of twists and turns, as well as characters. Main character isn't retarded and knows when to be serious at times.I recommend this novel for everyone who is tired of dense MCs.

18+ is the first thing came to my mind when I first read this novel. Brutality and *** spice things up. Not recommend to young reader with immature mind. But daddy like it so +1. MC is calm and has brain - most other chinese novel MCs don't => +1 Translation quality: Hmm, 4 stars out of 5. I heard that this novel was translated by wuxiadream (3 out of 5) but the quality is better now compare to their version. It is okay for me because I don't really about the quality. Everyone knows that all the good translators are with ww. Down here is *spoiler alert* so think carefully before reading. Only problems with story plot is it repeat over and over again. The skill, the sect systems, etc... Word background is also repeat over and over. Total score: 3.6 out of 5 Hope that the updating stability will be good.

My reading experience was pretty fine even after this novel got blocked by spirit stone paywall, thats totally cool, but when we pay for chapter and then translator demands 5$ for content that was cut due to censorship, that sucks. Why the original content is eligible for being on chinese website, but international readers seem to be inferior to others, according to qidian.

This novel started great. First 100 or so chapters, it really pulled me in. But after the Endless Sea arc starts, everything starts going downhill. Still, i kept reading hoping that it would get better, yet after mc reaches the Yang family, it just gets worse and worse. After that i could only keep up to chapter 322 which i just couldn't take it anymore. Author just keeps destroying or changing the characters personality to fit the immediate nerrative. They flip around all the time including mc. Author also destroys his worlds rules all the time. He sets a rule, then comes a person who not only break those previously set rules, he practically sh*ts on them. Mc's ruthlessness that we have seen at the start is nowhere to be found anymore. Harem, or if i can even call it that, got too annoying. Mc is like a lover boy going after a single girl, but he is also lusting after others at the same time, yet taking no action whatsoever. They serve no purpose and honestly characters are just so bland. This novel is indeed very bland and quite honestly really annoying to read. I was expecting something good, then it turned into something avarage and lastly it just turned into a chore to read. Sad really, feels like author got lost very quickly. This novel had alot of potential, very unfortunate that author couldn't follow up...

Really boring novel overall. The characters are forgettable, the Mc is not really a "GOS", the world building is not interesting, i found myself sighing and skimming through chapters a lot. I expected an average novel with some fun fighting and that's all, yet the fighting is lame and the powers of the MC are underwhelming. I was amazed because I came with little expectations and still got disappointed hahaha

I'm done reading this book, yes my overall rating is 5 stars, but reading new chapters is just too costly. Think about 1k people spend average of 11 spirit stones (requirements) = 11000 spirit stones divide that by 50 spirit stone ( $1 = 50 spirit stones) and the translator makes $220, mind you the translator isn't writing the book but " translating". Isn't it just to damn much for charging us translated chapters? I know people have to earn money to eat and live but isn't it to much for the work the translator put in? Why the readers getting screwed. Think about long term gain instead of short term gain. If it was 5 spirit stones per chapter I wouldn't give a second glance before I drop 5 spirit stones. Not sure how many people are reading this but I would say average 5k people, so $220 X 5k people so that's around $1.1k the translator and the app makes, I'm not sure how much % the translator gets but it's enough to put food on the table and roof over my head.

This novel is the definition of “if you’ve seen it once you’ve it a million times”. There’s so little originality that it’s honestly shocking how it’s so popular on here. The only logical explanation is that the people who can read this and actively enjoy it are people who have barely read any chinese LN, maybe like 3 or 5 tops. The cliches are so rampant in this novel even I feel second hand embarrassment for the author. It’s literally one of the most predictable novels I have ever read. If you think something is gonna happen then it definitely will. Idk how this could have even been fun to write? He has added literally NOTHING new or original. NOTHING! If you think another arc where the Mc has to hide his identity is coming then guess what your correct! If you think a time skip is coming than guess what, you won’t be disappointed! It’s honestly sad that this novel gets so much attention when actual original content doesn’t. He couldn’t even break the 3 year time skip limit that most of these LN authors seem to keep as a standard lool. I highly recommande to change the name to "a puppy's harem", i'm truly despointed in how the MC personality develope ( became more & more stupid ) and what's more infuriating is how the autor keep inserting girls here and there without an reasonable sense. i'm currently at chapter 1030 and seriously i'm despointed.

Truly deserve 5 star. Ignore all those who give negative comment, they just can bear the brutal way of our mc. The story is getting more interesting when he arrive at Endless sea and soon in Chaosm Battlefield and got more inheritance . Soon u will realize the potential of this story. I have read till chp 100+, after reading negative review ,, i almost stop reading (fu(k them) Fortunately a week later i decide to resume And guess what?... This story actually good and i dare to said that u will not regret after start reading this book Ty Sigma (translator) for translating this story Hope u can relase more chapters.😘

Wow I'm high as F right now. Finally Qidian made my dream come true with a decent update rate. Hope you guys can keep it up. My question is if I can donate to the translator to give them a hat off to their terrific work. The newest chapters have a very good quality compare to Wuxiadream. Well, great job you guys. All 5*

Its pretty good. The oyher comments are deceiving and the translation, although not the best and and error here and there... The quality is up to standard. The novel otself is prettt good as well, the plot armor is pretty thin on many characters... Stuff is not dragged which is fine as well. Overall a very good read.
