Jack left Peter's home before flying towards his next target. Since it was still early in the evening, many of the heroes he was recruiting were out and about doing their hero duties or just getting off from their civilian jobs.
Jack went from place to place, talking to the others and trying to bring them in. And besides one person that gave him a maybe, the rest of the heroes easily agreed. They all needed a job where they could be heroes at the same time. And Jack's was the best at that.
Jack had also found the Scarlet Spider and taken a sample of his blood after he found out him fighting Shocker.
With his blood in hand, and all the members of his team recruited, besides Sue, Johnny, and Crystal, Jack teleported back to Okkara and planned to work throughout the night. His main job was analyzing the blood in order to find out just what made the clone so unstable.
But instead of taking the entire night, Jack was able to analyze what was wrong with the clone within 20 minutes.
'I sometimes forget that I am a literal god of two different domains that make me incredible. I need to start inventing more often.'
With the testing done, Jack decided to input some information on his computer. It was all the information that the Avengers had gathered on the various Symbiotes. Jack read through each of them before he started working on his own project.
'If the government can make the original Anti-Venom Symbiote, I'm sure that I can make a much better. Let's try adding a little of this and some of this. Oh, and also this!'
Jack was having a fun time designing his own symbiote. It was something that he never thought he would be doing but it still felt pretty good.
When he was done, Jack smiled. He looked at the white blob inside of the pod feeling proud.
"You will be the first and only Symbiote I create. I have taken away your personality and have made it so that you will only have one owner in your lifetime. For that, I apologize. I shall still name you though. From now on, you are Deva."
For a moment, Jack thought he felt positive emotions coming off of the Symbiote but he shook his head. With all the genetic editing he had done, he was sure that he had killed off any chance of this thing being truly alive.
Jack looked at the time and saw that he had not spent nearly as much time as he thought he would.
'Emma's sleeping by now and she is super sensitive to me coming back to bed in the middle of the night. Might as well stay here and continue working.'
So Jack spent the rest of the night making sure that the plans for his new organization were in place. He had all the patents, rights, staff, and technology that he needed.
The main base was on an island 15 miles outside of New York which would also place them outside of US territory. So Jack and his team were truly an international team that was not attached to any single government. It was actually sponsored by several private organizations which were all under the Hellfire Club's and Emma's control.
'Base is built, the staff is hired, and documents are in place. All I need to do now is move everything and everyone there. The Future Foundation can start its work within the next week.'
By the time he had finally finished everything that needed to be done, it could barely be called dawn.
When he got back to the institute, Jack got into bed with Emma. He didn't mind waking her up a little since it was already the morning and he wanted to cuddle with his fiancee.
As soon as he got in bed, Emma opened her eyes and glared at Jack for a moment before closing them. But instead of going back to sleep, she decided to talk with Jack.
"What have you been up to all night?"
"Recruitment, designing a Symbiote, curing DCC (Degenerative Clone Condition), putting the final things in place for the Future Foundation."
"Hmm. That's good. Did you invite anyone else to join your harem?" Emma asked sarcastically
But unlike the immediate denial she expected, Emma was met with silence. The woman opened her eyes and saw that Jack was willing to look directly at her. Seeing him like this, she rolled her eyes.
"Of course you did," Emma rolled over and faced the other direction
"It wasn't my fault this time. Valeria was the one that set me up to go on a date with Sue on Friday," Jack tried to explain what happened
"Hmm. So you have me, Rogue, and now Susan Storm. Oh, and the other you is probably getting together with Wanda. Anyone else that you are interested in?" Emma asked, her voice dripping with jealousy
Jack smiled and pulled the woman into his embrace. Although she refused to face him in their bed, that was fine.
"I'm sorry. I know that this is a bit much to take," Jack apologized for how his womanizing ways made her feel but never said he would change himself. He knew he would be lying if he did.
Emma grunted when she heard Jack.
"It's fine. I knew what I was getting when I got involved with you and accepted the ring on my finger. You never hid who you were and what you wanted. It just feels like a bit much since all these other women are appearing at the same time," Emma truly wasn't blaming Jack. She was just at a place where she was feeling frustrated.
Jack smiled when he heard her admit that and kissed the back of her head.
"That's fine. If you ever have some frustrations with me or how I am doing something, I am always willing to hear you out."
Within minutes of their small disagreement, the happy couple had already made up and were snuggling in bed together all morning. It wasn't until Julian came to remind Emma that they had a training session that afternoon, that the pair separated from each other.
