As they had planned, Heisuke brought Hisaki to the police station at six. The latter had changed out of the yellow dress after she returned home from work.
For today's 'date' at the night market, Hisaki chose a knee-length skirt with small flowers printed and a quarter-sleeved boat-neck lilac blouse. She put up her hair into a half-bun hairdo, letting the rest of her luscious locks fall freely behind her back.
The police cooperated well with them. Hisaki was glad that no one took lightly of the matter. She didn't mind whether the police would investigate the case or not, as long as she had recorded her own case.
"Let's go," Heisuke hopped on the bicycle that he borrowed from Shuuya. He glanced at his back, "We should just focus on food. There are many delicious ones at the market."
"Okay," Hisaki smiled shyly.
