Since It Had Come To This, Should He Find More Answers?

A fuming Tsuyoshi left the office with more insulting words being thrown at Hisaki and Heisuke. But, the two of them didn't care about him. He didn't carry any worth to them.

After thanking Mr. Mayeda and Mr. Kajiwara, Hisaki wanted to talk to Heisuke in private. Because the work hours had started, she asked for the superiors' permission first.

"It's fine. Take your time to discuss anything else," Mr. Kajiwara was being considerate as he gave her permission, "You guys could go to the police station this evening."

"Thank you!"

Hisaki walked out of the office, followed by Heisuke behind. She didn't notice how intently the man was eyeing her. They headed to the outside of the warehouse and chose to stand under a shady tree. The spot was a bit hidden due to the tall bushes nearby.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

Hisaki was taken aback by the sudden question. More so when his voice was laced with repressed anger and disappointment.

"...I'm sorry."
