It was all happy-go-lucky for Izuku Midoriya when he was born. His parents adored him, took him out to eat and put all their attention on him. He felt like he was on top of the world, until the world started crumbling and falling into pieces. The first evident crack was the trip to the doctor. Now you might think: "Why is going to the doctor so bad?". Well, in this world, day and age, humans are born with a special feature known as a "Quirk". A quirk is unique to everyone, like a thumbprint and the cool part is that it gives superpowers. Yeah, superpowers.
Now you might start turning the gears in your head, otherwise known as the cerebrum, which controls your thinking: "Why is Izuku getting a quirk so bad?". That's it. He didn't.
Imagine being in a crowd of normal, healthy people. Then one person joins the crowd. Perfectly human, no crime on his record, but with a deformed face. The normal humans then start thinking: " How did this happen to him?" "What sickness does he have?" and most importantly, "Why is he here with us?". They feel disgusted and some sort of pity, that no one in their life would ever desire. Pity to be different, from everybody else. These pity could turn into anger and cause hate violence, hate against another religion, belief or even sexual preference. These violence are caused by us, not willing to accept that we all are in fact, the same people, only with unique features. In this world, Quirkless humans are treated as lower beings, lower than trash.
That's what Izuku Midoriya endured for almost 12 years of his life. Let's view the life of Izuku Midoriya, from this point till the end.
Izuku cringed as his foot hit the ground once again, the pain almost making his eyes tear up. He looked down, fiddling with the bandages that wrapped around his hand, and slowly trudged back "home", if you could even call it that now. His "home" was more like a hellhole. Izuku dreaded going there even more than going to school, but it was already evening, he could delay it no further.
He reached the doorstep of his "home" and could already smell the alcohol and cigarette smoke. He slowly opened the door, wishing to enter his room without trouble. As if the world was against him, the door made a sudden loud creak. Hizashi Midoriya, his "father" turned his head to Izuku and sneered.
"Look who's back."
Izuku was shuddering and continued to look straight down, not daring to look at the parental figure he once loved.
Hizashi took another swig of alcohol.
"...LOOK AT ME!"
Izuku's head shot up, staring at the bloodshot eyes of Hizashi. Hizashi smirked.
"Still the cowardly mouse, aren't you, you piece of shit."
No response.
"When I talk, I expect you to REPLY!"
Without a warning here or there, Hizashi shot a huge burst of flames from his mouth, the speed at which it was travelling contributing to the heat. Izuku reacted fast enough to cover his face, but one burning jet of flame managed to find its way, to his left eye.
Izuku screamed. Screaming that could match the screeching of the mad lady around the corner, or the voices of the dead, the dead who sinned, and were put in Punishment. (I'm a bit of a greek mythology fan here)
His mother opened the door in time to see this event that would permanently blind Izuku's left eye forever. His mother, Inko Midoriya, looked forward in terror. She went to grab her baby boy, whispering to him if it was okay, if it hurt.
In normal movies, there would be torture, the villain would be insane, torturing people for the fun of it, but yet, in real life, this was rarely seen. With 1 sentence, Hizashi would make a decision that would change Izuku's life forever.
"I wasn't done with him, YOU OLD B*TCH!"
Another burst of flame burst from Hizashi's mouth, but it did not stop. The flames rolled over and over lnko like a wave, a wave of pain. Inko dropped Izuku on the ground, as she slowly turned into a charred body, whispering to Izuku that it was okay, till the end.
"..Mom?"
..
...
....
A part of Izuku snapped. A part of his nervous system, one that controlled how he felt pain, was no more.
Izuku's eye glinted red, as he glared at Hizashi.
"This was... your fault."
Hizashi grinned and was about to burn his son when he suddenly froze. His vision clouded over as he fell back, clutching his throat and wheezing, "NO! NO! NO!" He joined the chorus of screaming, repeating thise words over and over again. He looked at his worst fear, straight in the eye, and his fear seemed to grin.
"I'm going to have fun with you." His fear grinned even more.
In a matter if minutes, Hizashi Midoriya was no more. His lifeless body suffered a panic attack, frying his nervous system. Izuku was also gone, on his way to start a new life, free.
