Fate/Transcendent

Roman of House Trambelio, or Roman Trambelio for conventional reasons happens to be the object of disdain for many a people and rightfully so, born into a major magus family with a partially defunct leg and lacking one eye, Roman would no doubt be disdained by the mostly elitist and aristocratic Magi. Maybe even thought of as a breeding mare. The fact that he was engaged already spoke volumes upon volumes regarding that. But, It wasn't as if all hope was lost. Yes he was slightly crippled and no type of healing worked but, had anyone sought to understand why it was so? If they did, did they ever succeed? The truth of it was, they didn't. Roman had died before and reincarnated, passed through the origin of all creation, the Root, retaining a self. Some part of his soul was sapped hence the dysfunctions but he'd gained much for it, a power that may shake the very world given time to truly manifest. Question was, what would he do with it? === You can find up to 7 chapters ahead at, patre0n.com/stoned_face

Go Back To Your Cave!

Unidentified Location,

Roman put both hands on his cane, fully taking in the sight before him.

A massive temple-like structure with a ceiling so high he could barely see it, held up by pillars so thick in diameter it felt like this place wasn't even meant for humans.. which was the truth in this particular case, because it really wasn't.

This being proven by the massive being staring down at him with a gaze that conveyed curiosity, disgust and pride, lots and lots of pride.

With nine gigantic tails that glowed with the brilliance of a star, she was the spitting image of a certain pink haired shrine maiden.. Well, minus the very 'questionable' fashion sense consisting of only the bare minimum of clothing worn alongside golden ornaments, her long hair flowed freely down to the red floor as her lips parted into a grin, revealing sharp fangs underneath. (A/N: Can anyone post the pic? Am too tired to do it today.)

"I praise your audacity, however foolish it might be but do not address me so cordially, who do you think you are?"

A voice so powerful it could make one instinctually back down and be in awe, if not that then her appearance would do the job.. These things were lost on the man staring at her in barely concealed amusement and curiosity.

"I don't think I will." Roman closed his one eye, putting a hand to his chin and letting out a hum... This was a situation he long believed he would find himself in eventually.

"Huh..." The 'majestic' being shifted in her position, resting her head in a hand as she laid down sideways to get a closer look, "You don't appear surprised or..." afraid for that matter, did she mess it up somehow? Implausible, why was he not one bit afraid when facing her in all her true glory?

"Meh.." The one eyed magician shrugged, "It was a matter of when." In a world like the one he was in, being spirited away because someone was 'curious' was something normal to account for, Deities were a thing after all, "So then, who are you?"

"....?" The woman tilted her head, "You already know."

"Not really."

".....Insolent fool, I will erase yo-."

"Lady, the only thing you'll be erasing is the already questionable existence of any respect I have for you considering what you did." Roman deadpanned at her, was this what Gods were like? "Gods were supposed to be supreme or something, how the hell do you not even know common courtesy?"

"I um-"

"Name."

"....Amaterasu."

"That explains it." Roman nodded his head in understanding, completely disregarding that the individual in front of him was the Chief God of the Shinto and Deification of the very Sun.. She was so far beyond him that he was having a hard time even perceiving her actual form.. The fact that she'd reached across time and space to drag him into her domain in the Age of the Gods casually and on a whim spoke volumes regarding that... Such meagre concepts were nothing but play things for one of her magnitude.

"Explains what?"

"You're the Goddess that's canonically the first shut-in neet in history, how come a nigh omnipotent being became a social recluse? I'm actually curious."

The being, or rather, Amaterasu actually found herself at a loss for words and stared at the man with a slightly open mouth... This genuinely being the first time someone had DARED to talk to her so casually and in such a way, really, when had this ever happened?! She, who transcended time and space, she who was the Sun given form, she who stood unmatched, who had ever spoken to her this way?

"Who... Who do you think you are?"

In the end, that was all she could muster what with most of her actual social skills consisting of looking down on people and being the one in the lead... Never before had she met someone with more momentum in a conversation than her.

"The guy you're gonna fall for in the future.."

"That..." That was true wasn't it? That pathetic one tailed waste was her wasn't it? "Those feelings are not my own, merely-"

"Damn, gods making excuses, damn."

"You're a God too!"

"I'm not a Chief God though."

"....."

Amaterasu, once again, found herself without an answer.

"I thought Goetia would call me first though.."

"That fool is nothing but an insect attempting to kick up dust, even if he were to erase the world, he would fail to deprive us of our power." For certain Gods, the removal of man could be detrimental but not her, her power was derived directly from the Sun with the planet having no real connection... the idiot aside, what was she to do with this knave? A moment of curiosity had resulted in this 'interesting' exchange.., "Perhaps that filth does have her feelings grounded in something."

"Hmm?"

"Nothing.." Amaterasu sighed, running her gaze over the man she'd summoned once more.. The Goddess then made a decision, "Appease my curiosity, young one. Why grant that girl's foolish request? You could have had your peace with one."

"She asked for it, politely." Roman answered the question in a confused tone, even if it had partly been to show the will of humanity he wasn't going to just be 'erased', it was mostly because the pinkett had requested it.. The thought hadn't really crossed his mind before her suggestion.

"So if I politely ask you to destroy man, you would?"

"Tamamo is precious, you're a useless shut-in that brings nothing to society, why would I do what you ask?"

"S..Shut in...useless... I'm a Goddess!"

"And I contribute to society!"

"A society I made!"

"That's like saying the dude that invented guns is responsible for all gun crimes."

"How does that even... Fine, you refuse to be respectful, refuse to know your place.. You've lost yourself the opportunity to learn it.. begone." The Goddess waved her hand in a disinterested manner, releasing a wave of bright energy that had the same signature as an A ranked noble phantasm only for Roman to point his own finger at it.

"Hm, it seems your young age is but a cover, little 'God'." Amaterasu smiled widely, visibly pleased with the development..

A small ball with a diameter no larger than a millimetre had appeared at the fingertip, bl-no, it seemed to suck in all the light from the surroundings, the same way it had devoured her 'attack'. As for what it was.. well, it wasn't really a secret that most of what Roman used offensively was scientific in nature, and fully controlled.

"Yeah about that..." Roman grinned, placing a hand over his heart as the magical energy in the area, far greater in both volume and potency as compared to the one he was used to, spiralled around his figure.., "Thanks for summoning me in this age, it'd have taken me years to gather all this even with my core.."

A true statement considering his core was newly made and that the energy passively released by a Chief God would always outclass his own... up until that moment at least..

"What are you-" Amaterasu's eyes widened ever so slightly as she felt the man's presence morph..no, age.

"You see, there was this certain justice wanker with a really interesting magecraft.. One that has to do with innate time..." Where Kiritsugu Emiya used it to hasten the passage his own time by at most, four times, Roman employed the same magecraft after deciphering it and bolstered it with his magic.., exhausting all magical energy in the time period in moments.... It'd probably recover considering the Gods were still here.

The end result?

He effectively aged, along with his Divine Core, aeons in the span of a mere few seconds for the Chief Shinto Goddess and the world....

"What have you done?"

"Wanna talk from a position of power again?"

"I.... What..." What had she just unleashed?

"I have to thank you, you spared me a favour to that old troll."

He had stopped once his age reached approximately 12 aeons.... Making himself older than the very planet, older than most Deities and consequently, his 'Mystery' as well. It elevated his Authority to unimaginable heights, to the point his Divine Core's previous output wasn't even a speck compared to it's current maximum...

"Now then..." Roman sat back, a chair better described as a throne appearing under him as he did, "Let's talk." The Ancient God who predated the very planet tilted his head, an amused smile crossing his face as he grinned at the Sun Goddess, marks and indecipherable writing appearing all over his body, his hair once again grey and the Beast Crown, firmly on his head, appearing as six large horns made of light seemingly floating behind his head.

"No matter the age, you will never outdo the Sun." Amaterasu rose to her full height, well over a hundred metres, her tails glowing the colour of the Sun.. Her surroundings, nay, the very fabric of reality simply melted away in the face of her Authority.

Roman pressed his hands together and sneered, "I guess Gods aren't big on science, even stars circle something like moths to a fire, lady." He held up his hand and the ball at his finger tip grew in diameter,

"And they end up destroyed the same way too BUT I gotta thank you! If you weren't stupid enough to summon me here like I thought you would, this would never have happened."

"How dare you?" This was the first time he'd directly insulted her in a way she could completely understand.

"But I guess expecting a brain from a neet with an ego was too much?" Roman put his hand to his chin, humming thoughtfully, "In that case.." He bowed his head, "My bad."

"It's good that you apologised."

"...Yo-"

Roman was cut off by Amaterasu abruptly turning her head, growling fiercely, "What fool dares intrude upon my domain?"

"Oh jaa, this was the Age of the Gods.."

His Magic was pretty busted wasn't it? Well, he had to thank Kiritsugu too though, the Emiya family magecraft really helped a lot.... Maybe access to his virtually unlimited wealth?

"How am I supposed to do deal with this?" Amaterasu stared down at Roman in annoyance, no doubt all the others had noticed the magical energy disappearing from the world even if only for a few seconds considering the one who'd consumed it reimbursed it so easily.

"Gonna cry?"

"Wha-"

"Go back to your cave, neet."

"I...I...will feast on your flesh after slowly choking the life out of you, insect."

"Oooh.. kinky~."

"..I...."

She'd summoned him because she noticed Tamamo no Mae fall for him and then seen through what he did, what he was... Amaterasu may or may not have regretted her willful actions in that one moment despite her gleefully bloodthirsty personality.

Correlating age with Mystery, Roman boosted his with this act. Correlating age with maturity, prowess and 'potency' of a Divine Core with age, Roman boosted his magical output and authority with this act. Hope that clarifies what he did.

If Amaterasu hadn't summoned him, he'd still have done it but considerably later, as in maybe years later when his core saved up enough Magical Energy to allow for such a use of 'Innate Time Control'. Sucking up the magical energy of an entire time period is pretty normal when you consider he's a magician, god and beast all in one.

The Sun, to some extent Amaterasu in technicality, is 4.6 billion years/4.6 aeons old making Roman two times older than her. Of course her existence is still cosmologically beyond his seeing as Evil can only exist when something defines an act as evil.. At least up till he starts creating black holes to fuck with her.

As always, if you find any flaw whatsoever in his logic and actions, point it out.

Anyone got a fic where the mc is a part of the Round Table and ends up summoned alongside Artoria in either the 3rd or 4th Grail Wars? I'm not looking for one that shows the mc's life story or his legend, his tales regarding the Round Table but rather, just that single segment where they're both summoned in the same war.

Also any good Blue Lock fics?

I'm finally freed from months of nothing but work, pleease, you gotta have something... I'm getting this urge to go mountain climbing and shout at the world again.

Hypothetically, what are the chances this book gets taken down if China ends up getting destroyed?

Some of my older readers may know of me being somewhat petty when it comes to writing and I'll confess, a whole arc of this book was written because something set me off. I'll let you figure out which one.
