The remaining person in the group found herself staring at the purple sky, quite unusual if she had to say. Not as crazy as the thing she saw with Lawrence before but still commendable. "Where am I?" Shiki muttered looking around for clues to whatever place she has descended. It was already known that there might be a problem with the world jumping just basing on the words that Lawrence said prior to the event.
Finding no clue, she began walking around navigating her way to this entirely new world for her. It did not took long before she was greeted by a huge town in the midst of wastelands. Shiki started to the town until she finally reached the gate where she was stopped by the guard there. One thing that Shiki noticed was that most of the creatures she encountered her are not humans.
Some had horns, different skin colors, and tails. Obviously different from the normal humans. Nevertheless, Shiki had to stop her thoughts from running amok as the guard was already starting to lose his patience at the silence. "Once again, state your purpose here" the guard said trying to sound polite. This place is a great town after all, being arrogant in here is a huge sin considering who managed it.
Shiki turned her gaze at the guard assessing the creature, she arrived at the conclusion that he was weak and not worth arguing with. "Sight-seeing" Shiki responded to the question after a second interval. The guard got happy getting a response so he smiled, "In that case would you mind showing me your I.D? Never saw you before so I wanted to ensure safety" the guard asked politely stating the reason for doing so.
This request stopped Shiki on her track, now that she realized that she doesn't possess anything like that she could only stare at the guard with lost look. This was digested by the guard who formed a theory on his mind, "…Do you perhaps not own an identification card?" he asked scratching the back of his head, he felt helpless knowing what will proceed.

Shiki now found herself being guided towards a huge mansion in the middle of the town. The guard first intend to capture her for questioning but upon realizing that the person it was talking to is a human, it decided to inform the Lord of the town resulting to this scene. During this whole journey, Shiki made sure to observe her surroundings.
She made comparison to normal town back in her world and found it similar. Though it looked more western than Japanese. The non-human creatures also appeared to be having the fun of their life, discernibly different from the town she was raised. The alleyways was also confirmed 'clean' by Shiki making her wonder what kind of person handle this town. It is far too peaceful to the point of suspicious.
They finally reached the designated place only for it to be a mansion. "This place is…?" Shiki asked gazing at the large structure. The guard saw her reaction and smiled happily, "This is the house of our magnanimous lord. Their family is our greatest pride" Shiki saw genuine happiness on his face, this piqued more of her interest.
"I see" Shiki nodded her head at his answer. There was no further interaction between them as the guard just guided her. Apparently one of them already informed the Lord beforehand meaning that they were able to enter without much of a resistance. Shiki can't say whether they are lenient with their defense system or just easy going.
Shiki entered a parlor where a man and woman are already waiting smiling at her. The man has a perceptible crimson hair, it stood out in the room. Beside him was a beautiful mature woman that has a body that reminded Shiki of that obsessive blonde. Obviously the blonde has a more lascivious body compared to her but the point still remains.
The two had an amiable smile on their faces seemingly amused by the fact that a human entered their territory. A human without any hint of mage signs at that, truly a surprising event. "Welcome, my name is Zeoticus Gremory, the lord of this town. Beside me is my wife Venelena" the man greeted Shiki who took a seat in front of them.
"Ryougi Shiki, what is this place?" Shiki did a little introduction and immediately went to the point. She needs information. "You are not curious about the different kind of creatures outside? Do you perhaps know them already despite being a normal human?" Zeoticus tilted his head inquiring. "I already know about the supernatural however this is the first time I encountered a place like this" Shiki said truthfully.
This surprised Zeoticus since he can't feel any magic from the woman, it was as if she is void of it. "Have you not heard of Underworld?" Venelena asked since this is a common knowledge in the supernatural world. There is no way that someone who is aware of the supernatural doesn't know Underworld. "Underworld? You mean this is hell?" Shiki was stunned hearing it.
"You can consider it hell I guess" Zeoticus chuckled amused by the comparison. Shiki stared at the two and inspected them, she made a conjunction on her head and was about to ask when Zeoticus beat her to it. "I can guess what you are thinking and we are indeed devils. Not demons but devil" he said informing Shiki about it. "I see, can I return to human world? I need to see my companions" Shiki requested gazing deeply into their eyes.
The two were visibly astonished by how composed this woman was, she just learned that hell exist yet she remained calm and even stated a request. Something they can appreciate. "Don't worry dear, we will help you. However can we ask where you lived?" Venelena gently asked. They don't know the reason but they treated her with great care as if trying to avoid stepping into a landmine.
This disturbed them as it was their instinct ringing however they still choose put it aside. Shiki thought about the last place they were before stating it, "Misaki Town. Please help me return there" Shiki said making the two silent. "Uhh… judging from the name, it must be Japanese right?" Zeoticus asked which Shiki confirmed by nodding her head.
If it really is Japanese then they possess knowledge about it since they made sure that the place their daughter live is safe. However… "As far as I am concerned there is no such town existing in Japan" Zeoticus informed Shiki while shaking his head at the unfortunate thing. Even Shiki has to open her eyes with that news, it is already a relief that Japan exist here but to know that the Town of Misaki doesn't exist is stunning. "What about Mifune City?"
Shiki asked about her city which regrettably gained the same answer by Zeoticus. This forced Shiki to contemplate things a bit, ultimately she reached the conclusion that she needed the help of this couple to find her companions. "Can I stay with you for a week? I need your help to find my friends, of course I will give compensation" Shiki said taking an item from somewhere.
She made sure not to bring out items that could do mass destruction. After thinking a bit, she took out the Tranquil Boots that she received from Lawrence before. The two were immediately captivated by the beautiful boots that was laid in front of them, it has a vigorous green color that dazzled them. "What is this?" Zeoticus asked staring at the mystical boots.
"It's a magical boots that grant the user conventional speed while also heal faster than normal" Shiki explained. "Heal?" The two asked however the look on their eyes has evidently changed. Shiki noticed this as she noted in her mind that healing is a big deal here. "Yes, it can heal whatever wound a person has however it might be slow, not instant heal. The advantage is that it can heal infinitely"
Venelena gasped at that description, it is more valuable than they thought! Zeoticus had to hold his throat from gulping, it is already valuable as it can heal but knowing that it has unlimited uses made it more precious. "We initially planned to help you out however since you decided to present this then we shall graciously accept it" Zeoticus said smiling at Shiki.
They just wanted to help since they were bored, they did not expect that they would gain a treasure like this. It can become Gremory Family's precious treasure. "Thank you for the gift Ryougi-san" Venelena revealed a kind smile obviously happy with it. "I also appreciate the gesture" Shiki said maintaining her apathetic expression.
"Then, welcome to Gremory Family. We will make sure to take care of you" Zeoticus happily said while opening both hands as a gesture of welcome.
