A Dream

Eris blew her nose as her head felt like breaking. The maids quickly responded by preparing an ice bag. Gray holds it on her nose bridge until the bleeding stops. Eris still blows her nose to remove some blood clots. Her clothes were already drenched with blood. She felt like she was going to pass out.

"Darling," He called as he made her lean over to remove any blood from her nose. "Don't sleep on me yet."

Her head was about to break. He quickly called out Leon since he's an expert with this kind of thing. After the maids helped Eris, changed her clothes as she leaned on the headboard while Gray nervously sat beside her, holding her hand.

"Gray, what happened?" Leon asked as he came with his equipment. Gray stood as he gave Leon a space.

Leon quickly checked her pulse, checked her eyes and nose.

"Do you always get a headache?" Leon asked.

"Not really." Eris was afraid that they might find out after they knew that nothing was wrong with her.

"We should check your eyes," Leon told her. "You didn't get heat up a while ago?"

"No. I was completely fine a while ago."

Leon sighed.

"Well, there are cases that people tend to get nosebleeds if their brain was stimulated a lot," Leon told Gray. "Like you sometimes."

Eris's hand shakes a little as she knows the meaning behind Leon's words towards Gray. She and Gray are the same. But hers was more critical. Because she's selfish to see more of Gray, more of the beautiful faces around her, she used a lot of her ability. She missed having her eyes back although she knew well that there was no cure.

"Yes. I think that's better. Darling," Gray caressed her hair. "Tomorrow. We will visit the hospital and have a thorough check on you and your eyes. Okay?"

"Gray~~I,"

"You shouldn't worry." Leon chuckled. "Gray is a doctor and also, he partly owns the hospital. You don't have to pay for anything. Also, we have high-tech equipment to help you see again."

Eris felt guilty as the family took her in. They were willing to help her as well. She doesn't want them to give everything to her. They were too kind and this is not what she expected. This is why Griffin told her that they can give back her eyes.

"For now," Leon took out medicines. "This is for headaches and since the bleeding stops. She just needs proper rest." He looked at Gray. "You watch out for her."

"I will," Gray said. Jaime and Yves were also worried about who was outside the room peeking at Eris.

Leon left after and Gray spoke to the boys that they needed to sleep. He closed the door as he took a warm glass and gave it to her together with the medicine. He stared at her beautiful face for as long as he watched her drink the medicine. She sighed as she extended the glass to him. He put it beside her.

"Gray, please don't give your all to me."

"I haven't given it all," Gray said.

"I know that your family can help me. But what if I~~I will never be enough for you? We just met."

"We just met, yet it felt like we knew each other for so long." Gray caressed her hair down as his knuckles caressed her left cheek... "Sleep, will be with you soon."

He helped her lay down as he tucked her in. Gray went to his room to bathe. Shortly, he came back only wearing his pajama pants. He carefully slid behind her, turned off the lights, and pulled her in his arms. Eris turned to him as she shoved her face to his chest.

"You smell good." She whispered. Her minty soap mixed with that faint sweet smell. It's relaxing. Gray smelled that lavender and morning dew on her.

"Sleep now." He patted her back. "Don't dream about me too much. It might get sexy."

She giggled and snuggled more into his warm body.

Gray was already dreaming. This time, it was their wedding. Everything was great. Everything was white, silver, and gold, with a lot of flowers. Roses on bed and bathtubs. Her wedding dress was on the floor. It was supposed to be a happy day but she's on the corner of the bed, crying. She looked scared while he was busy crushing things.

"You are not going anywhere. You are mine."

Gray felt heavy after that dream. He reached Eris's beside him. She's still asleep. He sat up with a heavy body. He knew that his dreams had meanings to them. And this one felt so real. Will I become that mad after marrying Eris? He shook the idea. He shouldn't get his head on those dreams. He stared at the sleeping woman beside him. The first woman he slept with without getting intimate. He bent down as he kissed her shoulder and then her cheeks. He slipped off of the bed as he went to the kitchen to see the kids preparing their clothes.

He patted the boys and kissed their heads.

"Since you have a girlfriend, don't you dare impregnate her," Gray told Yves. "You too."

"We are not into it yet," Jaime said. "We are young."

Yves didn't agree so Jaime nudged him.

"Put on a condom at least." He grumbled. "Make sure that she also takes contraceptive pills. It is safer while using both." He told them.

"Gray~~ we are still young." Yves finally said.

"Whatever." He shook his head. "Curfew was still and no sleepover. Alexa will report everything to me and your Butlers will watch over your moves." He eyed the two.

"Yes, dad." They listen to Gray although most of the time they were just joking around.

"Say goodbye to Eris, for us."

"I will."

Gray walked the boys outside as they hopped into the golf cart. They waved at him. He crossed his arms and leaned on the door frame thinking that they grow up so fast. They indeed need a mother. And he wasn't rushing for that. However, they are fine without a mother. The parents back in the mansion are a mother to them.

"They grow up so fast." He grumbled. He went back to Eris's room. She was still asleep probably because of what happened last night. So, he called early to the hospital to prepare the equipment for Eris. The maids are also preparing breakfast. MJ and Johanna visited him with their soup. They also peeked at Eris.

"Okay, so what happened? Did you give her a nosebleed because of your oozing hot body?" Johanna asked him with crossed arms.

He rolled his eyes.

"She can't see, dummy. But she can feel my hot body." He rolled his eyes.

Keira sneered and smacked his arm.

"Feed her with this. It will help her with headaches and ginger tea is a must. Also, your grandkids wanted to see Eris." She wiggled her brows at him. "I think you should marry her right away. They will be sad if they won't see her around."

"I will." He said. "You two should go now."

"I take an off day for my babies." Keira grinned. "We are off to do something."

"Whatever, Keira."

Johanna shook her head.

"That means she's giving her work to me. Can you believe that?"

Gray patted their heads.

"The two of you should go back, I will take care of Eris, and family dinner is still the same."

"Fine, fine." The two headed out.

Gray went to Eris's room as he sat beside her and caressed her beautiful face. She slowly opened her eyes. She reached for his hand and smiled.

"Does your head still ache?" He asked softly.

"A little." She mumbled. "Jo and Keira made soup for you and ginger tea."

"Your family, they are the sweetest."

"I know," He gently rubbed her forehead as she closed her eyes. "Do you want to sleep more?"

"Can I have ginger tea first?"

A beautiful smile drew across his lips.

"You know that I can't stop spoiling you." He pointed at her nose as he stood. He then went out to take the ginger tea together with the soup. He set it up on a table tray as he pushed away the duvet. He sat beside her as he momentarily stared at her collarbone. He fixed her dress.

She carefully placed her fingertips on the table tray as she reached the mug. She picked it up with both of her hands as she pressed her lips on the mouth. She could feel that it was too hot, by feeling the smoke of the tea.

"Still hot?" He asked. She moved it away from her lips as she nodded her head. He stealthily licked his lower lips as he stared at hers. "Can I kiss you?"

A smile crept on her lips.

"Gray, we've been sleeping together for days now."

"Three days." He said.

"You can do it. Without my permission." He moved closer to her as a knock on the door interrupted them. Then, the door opens as Benny comes in with Kaiden holding flowers.

"For god's sake." He grumbled as Eris couldn't help but giggle.

"We don't mean to interrupt." Violet grinned as she let the two run to Eris. They ran to her side and raised the flowers that they picked. "They just picked roses for you, Eris, pink, red, and yellow. These two are indeed smitten with you."
