Taking her to the hospital was the best way. There were doctors to check her eyes and do other tests. She has to do fasting to take more tests for tomorrow. He stayed by her side, taking off from his work to accompany her.

Eros apologized many times as she tried to back out from the exams but he convinced her. He was worried and since he insisted that he won't leave she let the doctors check on her.

She fell asleep in the VIP room that Gray set up for her after those multiple tests including CT-Scan, MRI, and others. Gray sneaked out to check the results with the doctors.

"We didn't find anything in her head. Not a blood clot." Leon said as Gray checked the scans.

"How about her eyes? Is there a possible way to make her see again?" He asked the best ophthalmologist in the country, probably from another country as well.

"Yes, there's a way." The doctor said, "I don't think that it's CVI. I am still working on the diagnosis as I don't find anything wrong with her."

"She can't see anything?"

"She can see a little light." The doctor said. "It means she still has a chance to get her full vision. With our laser treatments, we have an 80 percent success rate of operation."

Gray was relieved. He doesn't know why she never asked for the operation. He then went to her room where she was currently awake probably from the phone call. But it indeed happened as soon as he entered. He approached her as he sat beside her.

"Darling,"

"Hmm?"

"You still have a chance to see me again."

Her eyes widened as she quickly searched for his hand.

"Really?"

"Yes," He titled his head. "Didn't anyone tell you about this? Your condition?"

Eris thought deeply as she shook her head.

"I am certain that all of the doctors who looked at my condition said that I just need a pair of new eyes."

He felt sorry for her. She looked downcast as she turned her head away.

"Hey, on the bright side, the doctors are working on your diagnosis and we will work on it. It might take a long time."

"How much for the operation?" She asked. "Don't say that it's free because your family owns this hospital."

He reached her chin and turned her head to him. He bent down and kissed her forehead.

"Marry me and I will provide everything."

"Gray, don't marry me." She whispered. "Don't marry me."

His brows creased, but he won't let her go easily. He moved closer to her as he pulled her closer. He hugged her to comfort her. He caressed her back as he kissed her cheeks.

"There's nothing that can stop me from marrying you." He whispered. "Eris, no matter what, I will be with you."

"Gray, listen to me." She reached for his hand. "You can't marry me."

"Why? Why not?" He creased his brows. "If this is because of your disability and your reason not to get my help, it will be useless. I will still help you even though you don't want to marry me."

"You pity me." She felt hurt by that thought. She hates people who pity her.

"I don't. I simply wanted to give the world to you." He kissed her temple. "Tomorrow, we are off to another date." He grinned. She looked uneasy but Gray won't let her off easily. "I will get that kiss from you." He bent down to reach her chin to finally kiss her but then, the door opened without any warning as a lady entered.

"I'm sorry to interrupt but Gray I need you?" Violet said as she approached them and gave the document to her. "Hi, darling." Violet grinned as she eyed Gray.

"Violet?"

"Yes, it's me. I have to take Gray away for a while. But I will take him back for sure."

"Okay. I think I have taken so much of his time." She smiled as she tried to push him.

Gray kissed her cheeks as he finally stood. He fixed the sheets.

"Sleep more, darling." He whispered.

Gray followed Violet to the facility. He went through the documents as she suggested using the nanobots to fix Eris's eyes. He wanted to do it only if she wanted to. He knows that she doesn't want to stay blind. She wanted to see the world but something is stopping her from seeing it. He doesn't know who but it must be someone close to her. There's something else about Eris that Gray wonders about. How she survived alone and he never met her friend.

"So, have you met her family?" Violet asked.

"She doesn't have one." He answered.

She crossed her arms as she thought deeply.

"That's odd." She said,

"Yes, but it doesn't mean that I'll stop," Gray told her.

"Are you sure that you want her?" Violet tilted her head. "The kids love her, but something is off."

"If this concerns our family's safety, I will deal with it. She's staying with me."

She sighed, feeling a little frustrated. She closed her eyes tightly, feeling that throbbing pain in her temple.

"Gray,"

"She's blind. What else can she do? I don't care about her past or anything. I want her, I need her."

"Whatever. I am not here to judge but to help you. You are getting so possessive over her. I am afraid that you'll get obsessed with her."

"I am not. I'm just protective." He said. "We will do this. How long will it takes."

"Months. We haven't tried eye surgery like her condition. Mostly, someone with her condition had a major problem in the brain. A tumor or whatnot. We will continuously check on her."

"Thank you, Vi." He patted her back. "For now, I will take a break and take her out on dates."

"Sure, do that." Violet smiled to cheer him up.

As Gray left Violet's office, he felt a little pang of pain in his chest. The thought of losing Eris is getting into his head. He will be worried about her and he certainly doesn't want to wake up every day without her beside him. It started to grow in him. He will get more and more possessive of her. When he went back to her room, Benny and Kaiden walked to her side. Currently, their nanny is outside taking a call from their parents. He watched as Benny climbed on the bed and hugged her.

"Sissy~~Kin-Kin, pay, okane, bear-boy."

"Your sister gave you money?" Eris asked holding Benny's arm so he wouldn't fall. He extended the teddy bear to him.

"Bear-boy shield, Eris," Benny said. Kaiden on the other hand seemed to be struggling to pull the big stuffed toy that he bought with him. But he let the boy struggle on his own and find a way to get it to bed. They need to be independent and smart with it. Once Kaiden finally pulled it up on the bed, he dragged it to Eris's side.

"There! Big, big soldier bear."

Gray watched as she reached for Kaiden's hand tears rolled down her cheeks. The loneliness that she was feeling inside was making her like this.

"Thank you."

"No. Cry. Benny po~tect you!" Benny wiped her tears and hugged her. "I love you."

"I love you both." She hugged the kids. Gray somehow didn't realize how much she was lonely. He took her from the hotel where she was staying almost forcefully and he didn't know whom she wanted to meet. Not a single close friend or family. Gray approached them as she quickly wiped her tears. "Gray?"

"I'm sorry that you are feeling lonely, love." He bent down and kissed her temple. "Do you want to meet anyone outside the estate?"

"No. I have no one to meet with." She mumbled. "I am happy here."

"Really?" Gray wasn't convinced as he didn't want to take her by force. He doesn't want her to be sad. "What else will make you happy?" She giggled as she pressed her lips.

"Ice cream."

"Got it."

"Ice cream!" The two cheered up as he patted the boys.

"Good job boys. I will buy the ice cream and they will stay with you"

She froze when he reached her chin.

"What else do you want, my love?" He asked.

"No! My love!" Kaiden frowned at him.

"She's my girlfriend, Kaiden. You better find one."

Kaiden pouted as Gray winked at the boy as he left.

He picked up the ice cream that she loves. He fell in line to get the ice cream but then someone pulled his pants. He looked behind him to find no one.

"I go first." He looked down to find Dione with crossed arms.

"What the~~ Princess where is your nanny?" he looked around to find if there was someone with the girl. The little girl simply ignored her as she stood past him. "Why are these kids everywhere?" He mumbled as he searched for Dione's bodyguard or nanny. There, she saw MJ with a triplets stroller walking toward them.

"Dione saved that spot for us." MJ smiled.

"Your kids are everywhere." He told her. "Including your boy, taking my woman."

MJ only laughed.
