Haruki heard Saito's voice,
"Haruki, goodbye!"
The singer turned concerned about what the climber would do, but to his relief, Saito had just said goodbye to him and had gone back to the car. He left, leaving the singer there.
Haruki smiled. It was a dramatic end to an absurd relationship from the beginning. He tried his best to understand Saito's motivations and MO, but he was just fed. From now on, he was free of that constraint. And all Haruki wanted was to forget the scenes of humiliation in his mind.
The singer went to the region where park users paid for their tickets to ask for a ride back, or would have to wait for the bus.
As soon as he approached the people in the guardhouse, there was a buzz. And he saw recognition in people's eyes. They knew him and came to Haruki, like fans asking for autographs.
The singer laughed at the unusual situation, but his newfound popularity would help him return to the city.
