Emily' s P.O.V

I found the perfect outfit for the afternoon. A black ripped jeans and a white crop top with a cream nude heals. Awesome. I changed into that and sorted out my hair. Walla. Birthday girl in the building!!.I' ve had so much drama in my life ever since Cabello showed up at my school.Maybe that' s why i didn' t remember my birthday. But its here. The day i finally turn 19. And then there' s college, fall in love, get married and have kids. But let me not focus on that now.  I looked myself in the mirror. Despite the fact that persons are mad at me for lying and i' m mad at some for lying also, i'm still going to enjoy my birthday today. Just gonna forget about the past and focus on the future. I grabbed my phone and purse and headed downstairs. I met upon Matthew at the staircase. I looked at him passing him. I headed into the kitchen telling everyone good morninv again. I knew Matthew was following me.I am not having an argument with him this morning. Now is not the time. I grabbed a bottle of water from the frigde and took a seat around the island table. I felt when he took a seat beside me. I paid him no attention. " Happy birthday", he said. " Thanks", i said checking my social media accounts and reading my birthday wishes. I smiled. " So....are you gonna tell the rest of the family or should I ?", he asked. I didn' t answer him. Seriously?. He has to do this now?. " ok....then. I think i should hear your side of the story Em", he mentioned." You should have asked me that right before you slapped me across my face Matthew. How dare you!", i shouted looking at him now. He didn' t answer. I shook my head at him and walked out of the kitchen angrily. Everyone was in the dining room having breakfast. I was about to walk through the front door when mom called me. " Hey!, breakfast first", she shouted. " I' m not hungry mom",i said looking at her. " You must be crazy Em. It' s the first meal of the day. How can you not be hungry darling?", she asked. " Fine", i said taking a seat beside Leon. " What were you and Matthew arguing about?", dad asked curiously. Matthew walked in immediately taking a seat beside dad. " Yes Emily, what were you and i arguing about?", Matthew asked with a smirk. Ugh. Really?. I ignored them. " I don' t want to talk about it", i mentioned kind of angry. They looked at me surprised by my reaction.

I began eating my breakfast. " ok..", dad said confused." So Emily...what are your plans for the day?", mom asked smiling. I drank some of the water before answering her, but Leon didn' t give me a chance to answer. " She' s gonna hang out with friends and maybe a little party later?", Leon asked looking at me." What are you, my planner?", i asked laughing.They all laughed except for Matthew." I' m your bestfriend", he said smiling." Whatever", i said smiling. Breakfast was so delicious 😋. Thanks to mom. She' s a real chef in the kitchen. I was now in Leon' s car on our way to somewhere. " Where are we going exactly", i asked curious. " Patience darling, patience.", Leon said. "I don' t have patience darling", i said smiling. " Well...i' m not gonna tell you. You' re just gonna have to wait and see", he said finally. " Fine then", i said. I opened up the windows enjoying the cool breeze. My hair blowing in the wind. " Whewwww!", i shouted laughing now.  Leon looked at me shaking his head. After 30 minutes....he stopped the car. " okkk...here' s what' s gonna happen.I' m gonna tie this blind fold over your eyes and then you follow my lead", he said placing the blind fold around my head. " ok, fair enough and what are you up to?", i asked. He didn' t answer. I heard when he got ouy of the vehicle and in no time i was too. He was holding my hand and leading me somewhere. " ok, take one step up" , he said. I took one step up and heard Leon laughing. I was on the same flat surface. " Are you playing with me?", i asked. " No....this is serious business, but you do look ridiculous right now", he added laughing again. " I' m done", i said about to take off the blind fold when he stopped me. " Chill Em, I' ve got you", he said. I felt when he lifted me up running.... Maybe up some stairs or something. " Leon are you crazyy!?", i shouted. I could hear my voice echoing. " Where are we?", i asked confused. Leon laughed putting me down now on flat surface. My head was totally spinning. I felt like i was gonna have a headache. " ok, just a few more steps Em", he said holding on to my hand. I took a deep breath in and then out. " ok, we' re here", he said coming to a stop." You can remove your blind fold now", he said. I could hear him smirking. I removed the blind fold and opened my eyes looking at the sight infront of me. " Happy birthdayyyy!!!!", they shouted. I could feel the tears coming. All my friends were right infront of me.

I covered my face smiling. " Oh my G Leon!", i shouted pushing him a little. " Anything for you Em", he said plucking my nose. I smiled. " Guysssss", i said looking at them almost crying. " Thank you. I really apprecite this", i said finally.
