Vacating the apartment
Qusay and the others seemed to cheer up immediately after they heard Kane's statement. The chat became livelier and they were already making plans for what they would do when everything returned to normal. They wanted to meet and eat out in a restaurant that night and Kane told them that they would meet at the male residence hall as he still needed to pack his belongings that were still in his former apartment. The video chat quickly came to an end and Kane hung up.
Kane lay back on his bed and thought about the call he just had now. When he was still in the mutant realm, he thought that there might have been some form of bond that had formed between them but now, he could guess that that was not the case. He could now somewhat understand why they all chose to form the dragon club.
