Return to the Oknac Town
Yelina gave Kane four skill scrolls. Kane was eager to have them so he opened them up and scanned each and every one of them. The two knights excused themselves after a while, leaving Kane and Xoqi to finish their dinner. When they were done, he pitched his tent not too far from where the beasts were sleeping.
Although he found this to be very unpleasant, he was afraid that his control over them would wane if he was too far away from them. Inside the tent, Xoqi was lying next to him in her tiny snake form. He was once confused about why she would prefer lying next to him and not somewhere farther especially after he saw her humanoid form but he quickly figured out that it was because she was cold-blooded and found it comfortable sharing his body heat.
His curiosity could no longer be controlled so he opened up his neural chip interface and checked out his new abilities from the abilities tab.
