Muneer's threat
In the parts of Edan city meant for mortals, each district had a building that housed a teleportation platform. Mortals handled the daily operation and maintenance of these platforms but they were never allowed to use them. The teleportation platforms were only used by members of the Storm Cradle sect whenever they wanted to travel between the various districts quickly.
In a building located in the business district, the teleportation platform suddenly lit up with white light and the silhouette of two people could be seen a few seconds later. Kane and Xoqi had finally arrived at the business district. Kane currently had his arm around Xoqi's shoulder for support. Xoqi did most of the work though as Kane could still not move his body at all.
