Chapter 13 The Urban Training and the attack

After an entire night at Hospital in the academy. On the next day.

Genji was already in Chiyo's office where suprisingly he was drinking coffee with Haruto and Chiyo..Haruto quickly commented:

- That yesterday accident... So just unusual...not only that. We don't know why they attacked in the first place to the fullest.

Chiyo was looking through a massive pile of papers on her desk. She then responded to Haruto:

- You know nothing is normal when you work as a hero right? Everything is abnormal...24/7 no matter how much we try.

Haruto sighed as he drank coffee. Genji on the other hand asked:

- Any reason or ... any possibilities of why they would even attack in the first place?

Chiyo then looked at one folder and began to read it as she quickly responded to him:

- Well we don't know really at this point. The only thing I can tell...is simple. They wanted to kill the creature or were after soemthing...

Genji knew something was off. Both Haruto and Chiyo seemed very calm and not wanting to talk. He then thought:

- "Something had to happen..it's not normal they are staying silent.. something did happened didn't it? They discovered soemthing..and won't speak about it possibly. For now I shouldn't ask."

He then quickly collected himself and spoke:

- So what exactly we will be doing today Principal? I know all classes are going somewhere. But where exactly?

Suddenly Aoi busted in and yelled loudly:

- To the city to do the urban training!

Genji looked at her confused and asked:

- Ehm. What exactly do you mean by urban training?

She walked in and leaned on the wall and began to speak:

- Well. It's pretty simple... We will get ready in a hour or so. And with a few dozen heroes the students will head to the city to experience special form of training prepared by the hero association of the United heroes omega sector of the association.

Genji quickly asked while drinking:

- Are we sure there won't be any attack .sensei?

Aoi looked frustrated but decided to respond:

- We don't have 100% possibility it won't happen but.. this is a important part of every first years training. We can't stop it. So it's either we do it. Or we fail. Simple as that. Now did you under?

Genji quickly responded:

- Hai hai sensei i got it. No worries about that. But either way. When do we start?

Chiyo stood up and answered to his question:

- It will happen soon so I suggested getting for the training. Because soon everyone will go there . Is that clear Genji?

Genji nodded hesitant and left the room and went to another classroom as he spoke to himself:

- Seems really... Something is off. They really don't care about the possibility of an attack. Although.. it is very possible..

As he said it he grabbed a apple from his bag and ate it..with each chew he spoke:

- Seems that. No matter how much would happen. They really mostly focus on the school situation and the tradition... Not gonna even count the entire. Student safety.

Throughout the entire walk towards the classroom he thought to himself:

- There is something off... The principal knows the danger but she can't break the school tradition.

Genji opened the door and sat down in the class as Chin-Sun came to him and asked:

- Are you ok Genji? You... We're injured pretty badly.

Genji quickly responded while having a quite angry tone:

- yeah I am fine. To some extend. But not fully at all. After all we got attacked.

Chin-Sun thought for a second and spoke:

- I noticed that Sensei has been...more closed in herself.

Genji looked at her as she continued to speak:

- I think they may be struggling with emotions.... I have heard she cries in the night. But it's only a possibility.

Genji began to think while also looking in front of the class waiting for it to start...As the wind picked up outside Hisashi Was arguing with Kyo. Ayaka tho.. seemed truly destroyed emotional after the training incident. Genji noticed it but was way too conflicted to approach her. In a moment The Homeroom teacher Miss Aoi came in. Everyone stood up immediately and yelled:

- Morning Sensei!

Aoi sat down and said nothing as she could be seen with very gloomy humour. Genji as he sat down knew Something was off just by her expression. Aoi sighed and spoke to the class:

- Listen up Brats . The attack from the training with the number one Hero has been reported to the government officials..but even though it happened. We are forced to do urban training today. And I don't want to hear any stupid opinions

The students of the class Were actually pissed. Chin-Sun spoke angered:

- We almost died!!! Genji got injured badly and you want to send us to another training?! What kind of school does such idiotic decision's!

Aoi a bit angry spoke:

- Chin-Sun...calm down or this won't end good for you. You know how we heroes treat students who disobeyed the rules..

Chin-sun didn't even flinched at the threat. She only commented with anger:

- So that means you can just endanger us again!?

Aoi's face already could be read with ease. She was really angry about the constant questions and arguements. Before she could say a word in a moment Genji grabbed Chin-Sun shoulder and quickly spoke:

- Chin-Sun that's enough. You don't want to cause ruckus in the class right?

Chin-sun looked at Genji with clear anger in her eyes. Genji sighed as his eyes turned red and his aura leaked and filled the class... He then spoke with a Deep voice:

- If you won't calm down.... Words won't be the last thing I do.

The entire class froze at Genji's aura. Even Chin -Sun fell down onto the floor and was terrified. Genji got back to Normal . After that he spoke a quick answer:

- I am sorry for that Sensei. I just hate .. when violence is involved.

Genji sat down as the class went silent. Aoi was quite surprised from the Sudden aura but she really didn't care about it for now. Instead she spoke:

- Now that's done with. Everyone get your suits on we are going out in 30 minutes. I want everyone ready in ten. Got that?

The class stood up and yelled:

- Yes sensei!

Aoi went out of the room as the class went out after her towards the changing rooms. Genji tho. He didn't followed them because he followed Ayaka who seemed to be running away. He went after her knowing Something was off. He immediately grabbed her arm and asked:

- Ayaka what is wrong?

She wanted him to let go as she was...crying. Genji didn't understood why but he asked again:

- Ayaka. Are you ok?

Ayaka turned to him and quickly said:

- I..i..i don't want to go...

Although Ayaka normally seemed silent. She was emotional to massive extend Which Genji saw in this moment. As he let go off her arm she immediately runned off towards somewhere. He didn't decide to stop her ,instead he went to the changing rooms and spoke to himself:

- This...this place and world Sometimes is falling apart... Even with all my efforts to stop it from happening.

As he went inside of the changing room and began to change..his mind was filled with thoughts:

- "I can't believe we still going to the city... In my opinion this seems like a bad completely Idea. But can't do anything since I am not a high ranking hero or something."

As Genji changed up you could see he wasn't really a fan of the entire training idea after the attack. Hisashi came up and began to speak to Genji:

- So...do you think they are for real with this training stuff? Like come on this is hilarious and bad. Like come on.

Genji without looking spoke:

- Yeah it sucks. But you can't really do anything over here can you? We aren't pro Heroes or some shit. Professionals have the right to speak not us.

Hisashi seemed angry as well and commented:

- How can you be so calm now? You were so angry minutes ago.

Genji looked at him with piercing gaze and answered:

- If I was always angry. Or reacting to my emotions so much. I would destroy a whole country by now.

Genji then immediately left the changing room leaving Hisashi to question his own emotions and actions.. Meanhwile at the same Aoi was speaking with someone. She commented:

- The hero Association doesn't do anything.. we can't stop the training. And we don't even have enough heroes at our disposal to even secure the entire training region of the city.

The person then looked at aoi.. He was heavily Armored with a square shaped helmet and a giant spiked mace on his back. To addition he also had possessed a massive shield on his arm. He then commented:

- Even tho you asked me to participate... You know this is far above what the association agreed upon. Bringing in another Omega class to this...? That is just showing we don't have anyone to help the students or even make sure they are safe.

Aoi grabbed her knife and looked at the person and commented with irritated tone:

- Who says that.. someone who is a big pain in the ass most of the time. And yet is in the top 10 of the omega class....

The person standing before aoi was no one else then. Enforcer of Justice. Number 10 striker of the Omega class. One of the strongest Enforcer and crowd control heroes the society has. He answered to her statement:

- Don't feel so cocky Aoi. Although we are like family..You are annoying to big extend. Especially in the case of kids.

Aoi's anger was getting the better of her. As she was about to snap and attack Haruto arrived and spoke:

- Its time to go you idiots. We have an entire day before us.

Both Aoi and Enforcer lowered down there weapons as Enforcer spoke while passing by Aoi:

- Remember about your place Aoi. I don't want to be forced to put you down if necessary. Your actions are putting in danger the entire academy. Remember that.

Enforcer walked pass Haruto as He looked at Aoi and asked:

- You coming Aoi?

Aoi then followed the two as all three went out towards the main bus which was heading towards the Training city zone.

But little they know. A attack was forming and almost no one would be prepared for it. Because. Not monsters...have planned it . But. Humans.

One hour later. The four busses carrying the students and many heroes head into the training zone. Genji was sitting with Katashi. He looked outside as he saw the entire city and people living there life's as nothing is happening and nothing could disturb there peace and daily life. One of the classmates seemed the most nervous. He was just in front of Genji's seat. Since of his sharp eyes he noticed it and decided to ask while looking from the side:

- Hey Is everyone ok with you? You are nervous.

The student turned around started showing she is a girl. Genji used one of his detection abilities:

- Emi Miyasato

- Age:19

- Family:Sister and mother

- Powers:Control over Blood,Metal and Other minerals.

Genji looked quite impressed seeing it and asked again:

- Is everything alright?

Emi at first didn't said at word. Genji tried again and asked:

- Listen I know you may be nervous..but please...tell me is everything alright?

Emi finally decided to speak and answered:

- I...i..i just feel.. something... I just know something bad will happen...I..i don't want to die..

Emi was Shaking much and literally crying.. Genji was the only one who noticed it. That's why he went to her and sat next to emi and said:

- I see.. but don't worry..we have the teachers and pros with us. It's more then enough to keep us safe.

Emi looked at Genji but was convinced as she asked:

- But..but what if someone.. stronger then them..a..attacks us?

Genji didn't knew really what to tell her. He mostly just answered it's gonna be fine. But he knew that won't cut it. So he spoke:

- If that happens. I will stand in your defense.

Genji smiled a bit. Emi herself blushed but looked away and quickly answered:

- T..thank you.. G...Genji-kun.

Aoi was sitting in the front with enforcer..she definitely didn't like the guy since she was so aggressive towards him. Haruto kept silent and was watching outside of the windows. Enforced asked:

- how long before we arrive?

Haruto quickly responded with his head still turned to the window:

- Approximately 10 minutes if you ask.

Enforced then asked another question:

- You do realise that this entire thing may cause the death of civilians?

Haruto was silent and answered:

- Well..as the system says.. no cost is high enough or low enough to pay.. especially when it comes to the monster killing don't you think?

Enforcer looked at him for a second.. before realising he was right.. looking onward he commented:

- Even tho. You still oppose it and not follow it haruto. Just like everyone else.

Haruto focused on the front as well not answering.. the buses slowly pull up to one of the massive buildings... Genji had even worse feeling now.. his senses were tingling and he knew something will happen for sure. For now tho. Homeroom teacher Aoi stood up and spoke:

- Alright brats! We are at the Complex. Of Hinari Corporation. They specialise in simulating of such attacks. And will help you understand how to handle them In most of the scenarios. Now everyone off the bus!

The students stood up and slowly made way outside of the giant bus. Genji was in the middle of the line and as he left he looked at the massive skyscraper. Ayaka came to Genji and asked:

- How are you Genji! What do you think about this trip?

Genji looked at Ayaka with a serious face and comments:

- Trip? This is training Ayaka. Don't you think you should take this quite seriously? Especially when it comes to the school things?

Ayaka looked confused as she quickly responds:

- Huh? But I never explored this part of the city! And besides everything looks so cool! And stop being so worried! Everything is gonna be ok!

Genji was clearly absolutely angry with that answer and quickly responded with a very harsh voice:

- If you are here to just have fun. I recommend you then go and die while I claim all the glory if a attack comes.

Ayaka froze in shock as Genji head towards the building as Aoi followed him clearly she noticed his outburst.. Swiftly she manage to grab his shoulder and asked:

- What is with you Yamamoto...?

Genji looked at her clearly different because of the attack during the training. His eyes were blazing with blue and purple gaze and even smoke as he commented:

- If I want to protect people. I need to become someone who others can rely on. If you gonna be a hero or a striker..and you become a target. The enemy will do anything to get you. They won't care if you are in a group of civilians..or with children. I ask you this Sensei. There is a hero to safe people...but where is someone to safe the hero?

Aoi clearly wasn't expecting such response as she let go off his arm still in suprise from Genji's words. The rest of the class gathered and was ready with other classes.. the Main head hero Aoi spoke:

- Listen up everyone! Because of the latest attack this training with be supervised by Enforcer of Justice. As one of the most respected law heroes there is. The police and military have secure the arena just in the case of another attack. Inside of the giant simulation city I want everyone to stay close and listen to the teachers. My class will go in first with the enforcer. Is that clear!?

At her yell all the students immediately answered with loud Yes Sensei. Aoi looked at the main door and began to walk and commented:

- Everyone move in!

The class of Miss Aoi went inside of the facility. Genji was close to Chin-sun. As they moved through the high advanced facility Chin-Sun thought.

- "Genji seems to be more serious then before. Although.. I would love to know other classmates more.. Goddamit... Why can't I be stronger"

As she still thought about the last encounter the enforcer asked Aoi:

- So..that..Genji is the one who destroyed these monsters with pure physical might? Hard to believe if you ask me.

Aoi didn't even wanted Sto speak to him. She kept silent but answered either way:

- Trust me he is way stronger then he looks like. I dare to say he matches the top 50 of omega class.

Enforcer clearly didn't took it nicely as he immediately respond:

- Heh..you really think a kid can do shit? Let me remind you how this world works.. last time the new omega heroes were killed because they thought they were indestructible or something..and I won't remind in what a ... Bloody way.

Aoi this time ignored him as they slowly arrived to the main gate of the facility. Genji looked onward as another hero of Omega class appeared. A silver armor. With clearly massive breasts and absolutely insanely looking gear. She looked similar to a mech. She spoke:

- Welcome students to the Grandstern Academy Training facility SUOF. In your language Special urban Operation facility.

I am the Silver Guardian . Heroic striker.

Character introduction:

- Name: Anya Zakharova

- Age: 54

- Status: Hero/Striker

- Ranking: Omega number 25

- Family: Unknown

- Abilities: Silver centurion,[Redacted],[Redacted].

Genji looked at the women in the armor with long red hair and clearly a Russian accent. He thought to himself:

- " So that is the Russian hero.. Anya. Supposedly she saved a whole city from a asteroid with ease.. Would you believe it. This is the strength of omega class number 25.."

Anya looked over all the students and the teachers..and quickly asked:

- Where is Einser?

Aoi froze for a second but quickly responded:

- He is busy... As the number 3 He does have quite a lot on his mind as well. Don't you think?

Anya looked serious and held her own chin and spoke:

- Yeah I know that. The biggest robot hero of the world. Wonder how the others are doing.

Enforcer quickly got into the conversation by asking:

- Where is your friend Aoi. I thought he was with us.

Suddenly haruto appeared next to them holding his sword. He quickly commented:

- I thought that enforcer could predict movement..seems not everyone has such powers. Or can use them at all times.

Enforcer looked at him as Aoi quickly broke there silence:

- What matters is the students safety. For now let's start the training. Shall we?

Anya nodded as she put her helmet back on and walked towards the students. Everyone looked at her as she began to speak..the door opened:

- Welcome to the facility!

As the door opened it revealed a massive replica of every city around the globe.. to be exact. Copy of cities from different countries.Russia,Spain,France,

America even Korea. Not only that. You could see a giant dome over the entire facility. That turns out was underground.. all the students were in Shock. Many of them excited. But some less. One of those Was Chin-Sun,Genji and Out of all the students Emi as well. Even Hisashi felt something is not right . Anya then spoke up:

- Listen up kids. Follow me down the stairs. Your teachers will stay behind. Come on!

Anya ascended down the massive staircase.. the other students and classes followed soon after. Genji tho was more focused on the fact that nothing seemed to go wrong.. He thought to himself:

- "There is no way this can be so peaceful.. we been over this.. when you chill out and lay down like nothing will happen ... Someone will come and stab you out of nowhere.."

As Genji thought about the possibilities of an attack the class heard yelling or..it sounded more like screaming. Anya immediately looked in horror and yelled back:

- I AM NOT HERE !! YOU CAN GO AND PLAY WITH THE OTHERS SIS!!

Aoi,Enforcer and Haruto all looked confused as Anya was clearly panicking as heck. Suddenly a girl in pink outfit began to run towards them . The students confused what was happening.. realised that this was Anya's sister from America. The girl suddenly yelled back at them:

- SISTER!!! COME AND OKAY WITH MEEEE!

The small girl jumped and hugged Anya who clearly froze in embarrassment and anger. The small girl smiled and snuggles into her armor as Anya tried to get her off and began to yell:

- GET OFF! GET OFF ME YOU LITTLE PIRANHA!!

The girl immediately yelled back:

- NO! I WONT LET GO OFF THE BIG SISTER!

The two are arguing in the front of the three other strikers. Aoi has mixed feelings about it. Haruto doesn't know what to say Enforcer just looks away and doesn't even care about them. Anya suddenly stops yelling and calms down. She comments:

- you always make my job so hard sweetie . Can you please introduce yourself?

The girl immediately nod and turned towards the class. She then spoke out:

- Viktoria Zakharova! Sister of Anya Zakharova! Nice to meet you all! Hope we can become great buds!

Her smile was bright and innocent. Many students almost fainted. Genji tho remained serious. Hisashi asked him then:

- Genji you are crazy serious. Chill out man. You gonna scare a kid .

Genji looked at him and then said:

- Sorry. I just don't feel comfortable after the last time. I felt like it was my responsibility for what happened.

Hisashi thought about it. He knew how stubborn Genji could be since they knew eachother. But he placed his hand in Genji's shoulder and responded:

- Come on Genji. Let's chill out for now. Besides the point tomorrow is your birthday right?

Genji then remembered and quickly commented:

- Crap . I forgot about it completely.

Hisashi laughed but quickly commented:

- I am sure it's gonna be fine.. just think about it and not anything bad okay?

Genji with a deep sigh commented:

- Fine. I guess a bit of relaxation won't do a lot of bad.

Both of them laughed as they looked at the strikers. Anya began to speak:

- Now time for the most important part of this entire trip. Explanation about today's training you guys and girls will be getting. The SUOF is already 20 years old. But it serves its purpose of training young strikers and even additional educating other strikers. Because you see. We have more and more monsters to fight. Each of them cause Different problems. That's why we have to change the system and even re-educate the strikers.

Anya pointed at the cities up front and spoke:

- Many of these cities were designed to show you what kind of rescue grounds and fighting grounds you may have during your future as a striker. But even with that in mind..the whole world has tsunamis, volcanoes and other natural disasters..But due to the monster appearance we had decided to focus on them more then natural disasters..that mission is for the rescue operators and special forces. I personally hope that you kids can pull out the standards we have here. But that all depends on how proficient you guys are at what you do.

All the students began to whisper to eachother. Genji tho walked up Aoi and asked:

-Aoi Sensei.. something is off. Am I the only one who thinks that?

Aoi looked at him and quickly answered:

- You aren't the only one.. seems something is up. We aren't alone..

As soon as Aoi said it.. A gianormous blast happened right in the middle of the facility. The system immediately send out a warning:

- Warning. Third and fourth level monsters detected in the facility. Unknown amount of signatures. All strikers immediately to your battle positions.

Anya was the first one to turn around with the three other omega class strikers. As they looked upon the center a gianormous hole was in the middle. From which emerged the monsters. And members of many monster cults. One of the students spoke:

- w..what is happening?..they are fake right?

Aoi quickly responded as she rolled up her sleeve:

- These are real monsters..and real cultists.

She clenched her fist as Genji stood next to class. The monsters emerged from the hole roaring. Many od them also supported by countless cultists. Enforcer and Haruto got into full stances. Anya into pure anger looked onward and commented:

- How dare..the monsters breached this facility... And more importantly..who has such balls and ego to lead them here ...

From the hole in the middle of the facility. A figure emerged next to 6 other figures. The person had white hair as it removed its own hood from his head to reveal blood filled eyes with orange slits. His clothes consisting of more gothic looking cloak and boots. The person then spoke with his sharp teeth shown while grinning:

- Well well well... Seems it is time. For a true slaughter to.. Begin.
