Chapter Seven:

Adeline and Jack watched the sunset from the rooftop bar, sipping champagne. They had decided to give their relationship another chance, but things weren't perfect. There were still moments of doubt and mistrust, but they were working on it. Jack had been open and honest about his past, and Adeline had forgiven him.

As they cuddled under a blanket, Adeline leaned in and kissed Jack. He responded eagerly, wanting nothing more than to be close to her. They made love that night, their bodies and hearts entwined. It was a marker of a new beginning, a fresh start.
