Chapter 7

When I returned back to the world only Ada was currently waiting for me still as I was gone for quite a few hours by this point.

Alice and Becky were out doing mother/daughter things and Luther took Rain out after everyone made up some decent disguises so they wouldn't be recognized too easily. After all, while they don't look exactly like their actors, they do look pretty similar, so they made some quick artificial changes.

After marveling at the currently flying Magic Carpet for a good moment in almost awe she decided to speak.

"How do you feel? Watching those boulders falling around you was pretty horrible you know!" She had the look of an annoyed house wife right now which was interesting in of itself. What's wrong with you woman?!

Though thankfully she didn't mention the crippling agony I experienced and the fact I was probably curled up in the fetal position for hours.

Hmm she was also able to watch me through the TV as things rolled on, that's honestly weird to think about.. do I become the protagonist or does the video just follow me at that point while everything else is still going on? Oh well it hurts my head too much to think about and I don't really care.

"But I am fine now and better than ever!" I tell her as I pick her up like she weighed as much as a feather and ran back to the bedroom with her in my arms as she squealed at the insane speed we were going.

Ada had a bad premonition about what fate had in store for her over the next few hours and she had every right to feel that way. I was now faster, stronger and with more stamina than she could hope to match by a large margin, I was practically giggling inside at the things I was about to do to her…

3 months later

I had taken the last several months off from exploring reality and simply decided to get used to using my new powers. It wasn't really as simple as knowing how to do things and having knowledge of how to fight, because I lacked muscle memory and skill of use.

Sure I can throw around energy attacks of all kinds and even telekinesis, touch telepathy and teleportation(instant transmission) but being able to use them with skill in a fight isn't the same as simply using them leisurely.

It took months of getting my ass whooped by Alice, Ada and even Luther while of course suppressing my powers to base normal aside from the use of a little telekinesis and jumping around them with instant transmission before I could hold my own a bit.

I could fight Luther on even grounds without my powers now but Alice and Ada still squash me unless I up my power significantly.

If I had to guess on power levels, which honestly means very little in this world, I would guess Luther at 25-35 and both Alice and Ada were in the 80-100 range. I would bet they could use their Ki if they actually had access to it or were born in the dragon ball world as I'm not really sure how it worked but I had a feeling I could help them a while ago so I tried.

I had started with Ada simply because she seemed to trust me more than the others did though that's not to say they didn't also trust me a fair bit, Ada just trusted me more.

I literally infused her with my Ki to look for that spark of life all beings seem to have and did my best to nurture it and spread it through her body just as mine flowed through mine, the process was slightly uncomfortable as she didn't get the cheating Genie version but the Ki jumpstart version I guess you could call it.

After that I had her eat a Senzu bean just because and it seemed to make her feel better afterwards so yay!

Speaking of those, I now have a large container filling up with those things after putting in the extras for months. Everyone carry's at least one on them when they leave the house as a just in case.

Anyways it had taken a bit of meditation after the process for Ada to actually get to the point of being able to feel the Ki within her with me helping guide her through it. She was at least as strong as Videl was so there was no real reason she couldn't learn to fly and use her Ki to enhance herself just like she did.

It probably helped that Ada was also a disciplined person and a quick learner considering her previous occupation. It took her literally less than an hour to learn how to float and less than a week before she was flying around the house even if slowly.

I could tell that Alice was looking slightly envious at this and was curious why she never came to me to learn the same thing as it wasn't like this was an overly intimate process though she seemed to be under the impression that it probably was in a way when I asked if she wanted to also learn.

Well let's just say she was the protagonist of her fandom for a reason because after I helped to jumpstart her Ki and helped her learn how to sense it well… she was zipping right behind Ada like a gleeful child in half the time.

To teach them to fly I literally ripped off Gohans explanation to Videl when he taught her to fly. I actually used it myself first to make sure that it was actually a plausible explanation and would work in the real world and it did so that's how I taught people to fly.

Well now I have a few decisions to make I suppose, who do I want to deal with. Iron Man, Hulk or Thor… the only reason I say that is because on the television is a rerun of a certain race in Morocco with a certain someone cutting cars to shreds with plasma whips.

I'm pretty much nixing the idea of Hulk immediately as I don't feel like getting involved with that even if I would love to meet Liv Tyler it's a big nope.

If I help Iron Man I would probably get to meet Natasha Romanoff but that would bring a lot of attention to me and I'm not sure if it's for better or worse though Thor wouldn't be much better through Coulson… Choices choices.
