Eldritch Empire

Waking up on a strange planet completely alone was not Karl's desire or plan to ever do it, even less as an eldritch being. Now Karl will have to explore his new home to find out where it is and how to progress as a cosmic horror. AU: The cover is mine. Mine are only OC, I don't own anything. English is not my first language, so maybe there will be some grammatical mistakes. ――Additional Tags―― [Horror] [Mind Control] [Harem] [R18] [Small Harem] [Romance] [Army-Building] [Action] [Adventure] [Kingdom-Building] [Empire-Building] [Lovecraftian] [Star Trek] [Cosmic Horror]

The Invasion Begins

(Third Person POV)

[38 years since arrival (12.05.2368)]

[Edges of The Dark Dawn Empire]

At the very edges of the imperial territory, thousands of military and transport ships can be seen on the ordinary system.

Each ship is colossal in length, larger than most ships in the galaxy with the transport capacity to transport millions of soldiers and military machinery to their destination, the ships cannons are capable of destroying most ships in battle.

The ship's shields alone are able to deflect most attacks, the ships themselves are biomechanical in nature imbued with magical runes and sorcery that make conquering the ships themselves a nightmare for the invader.

But in order not to deviate from the topic by describing the fleet, it is better to move on to the question of why we are here.

On the capital ship of the Raving Imperium itself a tall pale humanoid with red eyes is seen watching the massive fleet with an expressionless face, at one point the being's expression just changes to a crazed grin before the being's flesh begins to move and the being begins to change and grow into a huge a creature with tentacles and eyes all over its body.

The creature continued to enlarge until it had grown to enormous size.

"My loyal subjects, you are here to witness the beginning of our dominance over all of reality.

Our changelings have infiltrated the border colonies, the Orion Syndicate is our protectorate, Bajoran has been turned into a hellhole of cultist activity with heavy losses suffered by the Cardassians, the cults we created have taken root in galactic societies, now is the time to attack.

Hear me my children, now is the beginning of our triumph, the galaxy is ripe for conquest and domination, we will conquer and dominate all that exists.

Go my children and in my name conquer all, we will create an empire that will last forever, overcome entropy and break all obstacles to our ascent." the creature finished its speech and then spoke only three words from its primal voice.

"GO AND DOMINATE"

At the very end of the entity's speech, a mass of voices broke out on each of the Imperial ships, from very loud clapping to repeating his words.

Each ship turned its ftl drive towards the nearest federation colonies, the conquest finally begun.

(Glenna POV)

Only five days have passed since the beginning of our invasion and nothing significant has happened. Not really, except for a few ships and only three small colonies, we haven't encountered much fighting and our troops are bored.

The only thing I do as the commander of the 3rd fleet is to inspect the ship, there is literally nothing to do, it's so boring and the only thing that reduces my boredom is organizing orgies.

I feel like I made a mistake in choosing the fleet, almost nothing important happens here.

When I think back to the information we gained through spying on the federation, the federation uses subspace transmissions, they were the primary means of FTL communication between civilian starships.

That was something that interested me. If I remember correctly, didn't the Federation have a subspace sensor network spread throughout its territory? They should have discovered my fleet by now.

Of course, I could only have overestimated the Federation's capabilities. The space was huge, and as I recall from the reports, things slipped through their nets even in areas where the Federation was particularly vigilant, such as along the neutral zone.

Perhaps the subspace network did not cover the entire territory of the Federation, but only the disputed area? If so, perhaps my fleet has appeared on the Federation's metaphorical rear, a knife pointed in their back without them realizing it.

"What a strange design…" my deputy mused next to me as we stood on the ship's conning bridge, looking across space to where the Federation ship was suspended in space.

The spaceship-trained part of me started looking for weaknesses in the overall design.

The girders connecting the nacelles to the engineering block were obvious weaknesses. The same applies to the bridge between the saucer-shaped main hull and the cylindrical engine section. The ship's bridge was dangerously exposed on top of the dorsal hull.

And finally, the design of Federation ships as a whole was made for large frontal targets, and were not very effective when it came to aiming as many weapons as possible at the enemy. On the other hand, Federation ships were first research and scientific ships, and then warships.

Something that would surely haunt them here and now.

"We are receiving a transmission." One of the communications crews reported. They are trying to communicate with us, they want to know our intentions."

"Not surprising," I said. "After all, our fleet is in their territory."

"What shall we do, Admiral?" - asked one of the crew.

I hummed in my mind, crossing my arms over my chest thinking about it. I recognized the ship, Excelsior Classes.

The Excelsior class was the most advanced ship in Starfleet during the 23rd century.

"Status red?" I reply.

My deputy consulted with several crew members and got back to me after a few moments. "It seems their shields are down and their weapons are off." She said. "Yet they keep sending us the same message".

I smiled at her answer, but my deputy pulled me out of my euphoria.

"Ma'am?" - asked my deputy.

"Unless these people are completely incompetent," I said. "They would have noticed the massive amount of firepower present here. And yet here they are. With shields down and weapons off... too bad... but we have our orders and our duty to the Maker."

"As you say, madam." The deputy nodded and said.

"Signal red." I ordered again.

"Yes ma'am." Said my deputy hurrying to relay my orders.

I watched as red beams of light fell from our ships, and hit the ship. Lights flashed across its hull, even as their engines, windows, and driving lights dimmed, then green bolts flashed across space, striking the Federation ship's engine parts.

Explosions of flame and debris flowed into space...

"What the hell happened?" My deputy demanded an answer from her crew on the bridge.

"If I may say so, Admiral," the chief engineer began. "Those ships' reactors must have gone critical."

"It seems so, Darena." I said as I rubbed my temple with my fingers.

Federation warp cores and their known volatility. And hypermatter is supposed to be even more dangerous than antimatter? Ha!

I looked back through the windows, where the chilled remains of a Federation ship destroyed by warp core breaches were floating fast and free through space.

Then I turned around as my deputy approached with a data sheet. "Our torpedoes and lasers pierce their hull like it's not there at all." She said. "Then we had to compromise their main reactors, which resulted in their destruction."

I nodded slowly as I scanned the report. "We don't know if those were their best ships," I began. "Or if they were warships at all. For all we know, they could have been diplomatic couriers."

"And even if they were warships," the chief engineer pointed out. "Their shields were down."

"That could be so pronouns," I said with a nod. "But let's not get carried away with assumptions. Let's do this right and show these men the full power of our navy. It may seem excessive now, but in the long run, I'm sure it will only add to our cause."

"Shock and awe." Darena remarked and my deputy nodded with a slight smile.

"I see your point ma'am." She said.

I nodded back at her. "We better not let our guard down, maybe they have a surprise, we only conquered three small colonies too small for the loss to be noticed immediately. We better be careful, we will soon run into densely populated worlds."

"Yes ma'am I understand you!" said my deputy.
