DROWN IN HELL

"With you, the red light will eventually turn green" ===== As she looked into his eyes, those deep dark irises, eyes that seemed to look into her very soul. That smirk that screamed 'danger'. She shuddered, feeling cold sweat drench her shirt "What's wrong?" his magnetic voice sounded with almost inhuman dexterity, he held her by the waist. "Stay-stay back, don't touch me!" her voice was shaking, almost breaking into a shout, but was actually a whimper. She slipped into his arms, heart pounding, eyes darting. Feeling complicated, a mixture of reluctance and pleasure. His chiseled face leaned into her hair, noise sniffing greedily. Her hair stood on end with nervousness, seeing the sharp fangs at the edges of his reddish pink lips. "Now you can be mine forever" 'No' she thought, but couldn't bring herself to speak. She gradually closed her eyes in despair. "I won't kill you, you're to beautiful for that" seeing her disposition, the man was amused. Vera opened her eyes in bewilderment and confusion. Mustering her courage and will, she managed yo squeeze out one word. "Why?" Her imagination ran wild, doubts began to form and dissipate at astonishing speeds. She hated when she wasn't aware of the situation. Soon her fear became anger, and anger gave way to rage. "So you kidnapped me and made me feel like a piece of shit for nothing?" The man smiled widely, and her fear returned. {CREDIT TO THE OWNER OF THE COVER From Pinterest}∆∆

"So are you willing to cooperate?" She smirked widely, knowing fully well what she had convinced her enough to fall into her arms. Vera on the other hand was in shock. She had always taken everything in security measure so where did she get that from. Especially when she saw the person condition, she couldn't help but scream in her head, crying without tears.

"Should I walk away and...'never' come back?" She stressed the never so as to make her vulnerable which was working perfectly to plan. No, everything was smooth.

Vera thought deeply. She cannot take the risk of losing someone so dear to her. No, she has to do anything humanly possible to bring him back. She really needed a breakthrough point, and as much as she hated to admit it, Angie was just that. She has to do something. Anything.

"What do you need me to do?" Vera said with a deep frown.

"Good. As we both know, Scott is currently single, looking for someone to crown the lady of the Johnson's so that his business would rise and not drop down even at the slightest bit" she explained further with an irritated look.

"And he is also our opponent in the business world. So, joining this two points, your mission is to become his fiancée, and make him withdraw from his business" Just how much do you hate him so much, Vera thought.

"Say what now?!" Vera commented.

As much as she tried to digest the details which seemed unpredictable, she couldn't understand. This person in question is a famous elegant prince of the country, how would he fall for a low classic lady like her. Would she even suit his taste?

"Secondly, terminate him from the picture, leaving no trace of suspicion around their clan, clear crystal, as simple as that" She shrugged her right should lightly, feeling unconcerned about the situation. To vera, it was a 'Really?!!' How can a human be insensitive to think and act like dealing with a devil is not a big deal, coupled with the grand master of beelzebub, world famous Scott Johnson... As if she could hear her thought, she replied.

"Of course, you won't kill him just like that. You have to follow orders. Those orders are specifically what you have to do every single moment, as simply as that"

"As simple as that?" This time, she repeated the statement with a question, using a mocking tone, as she scoffed indifferently.

"You want me to murder a person yet you call it being simple?" Vera asked fiercely. She couldn't hide the hint of anger even after she tried brushing it away from the start.

"Of course! Killing cannot be hard to resist especially to an already 'professional" She stressed out the last word, shooting her a dirty look which didn't go unnoticed by vera. She clenched and unclenched her fist, as her past traumatized memory clouded her mind.

"You killed our parents, you son of a bitch!!" A lady screamed in anger, trying to get through the three bodyguard's who blocked her way, who tried to stab Vera with a broken bottle.

"Amanda believe me, I didn't kill mother and father..." Vera cried in an barely-audible voice.

"Lie!! Lie... This sick bitch is lying" She pointed her hand to vera's direction, talking like a complete mad woman.

"I couldn't kill the people who loved and care for me" Vera replied heart broken. She couldn't stand the accusations brought to her face. For now, she needed the ground to just open and swallow her. Meanwhile, Amanda's mood even darkened worse.

"Loved and cared for me" She repeated the same words used by vera, and laughed hysterically like an insaned woman who had gone nut. Of course, her reaction made the workers around the house wince in fear. Her laugh crept through their body, like the call for death and that laugh which screamed 'danger' on its way. They took one feet away from her, even when she was seen afar, because what their mind could think of was a warning sign that indicates only one word. Run. And in an instant, they took their heels, leaving the body guard's to take care of the situation.

"Let me go, Angie! Command this bitches to get their filty hands off me!! LET ME GO!! Arghhhh..." She screamed uncontrollably, breaking everything she spotted at that time. Only the sounds of glass shattering could be heard as no one made a sound. Angie, who sat at the couch comfortable and relaxed, watching the commotion before her eyes, suddenly walked towards her direction with an extended arm, spread out widely, asking for embrace to the girl who already calmed down.

Yes, Angie wanted to hurt Vera more but that alone could ruin her decades already-planned plan. Any slightest mistake that happen could ruin her whole chance to getting what she wanted. She wouldn't let that happen, she can never risk it. Never.

Right after the death Vera's adopted parents death, she was accused of the murder of the Fetchers, claiming she wanted them dead all along because their love was shared among her fosters siblings. But was made her dismayed and offended was when she was arrested publicly, right at her office, which of course attracted many reporters, taking videos and pictures of that new's popping moment.

The trial opened, that Amanda and Diva sued behind her back, provided with a false concrete evidence that lured her to prison. The evidence showed clearly how vera appeared on the same plan, wearing a black pants and shit, with a mask, that could barely see her, but the hair, her bracelet, her walk, everything was just like her. Eventually, the video evidence ended when she was spotted unplogging all connected wires and witching off the control panel. Beside her, five pilots were seen lying dead, drenched in a pool of blood, where bullet passed directly into their forehead.

It all happened like flash, leaving Vera confused, appalled and startled. To think her sisters could do this to her, was still a shocking news to digest. Her reaction even made the judges suspicions grew wild.

Not knowing whether to cry, and breaking down or release her infuriation and screaming for justice, she could only stand still like a statue. As much as she attempted to talk, her brain kept screaming, and scolding her sisters...no the devils,...but her body refused to obey. It was as if she has been shut down completely not knowing where, why and what to do.

At the end of the trial, she was sentenced to five years imprisonment with hard labor. After a year, the case had to reopen again, because vera's lawyer managed to come across a video clip, that showed when she was seen working in her office that very day the crime seen occur, together with the group of witnesses that gathered to fight justice for her, managed to release her from prison. By then, she lost weight, looking all skinny and pale.

She lost everything; her family, her house, her cars, her siblings and most especially...access to the Fetcher's residence and to forfeit her surname, which she was now called Clowdson.

After few years of grieving, she decided to move on and hide from the shame that befell upon her. Her identity was false, including her phone number, which lost track of everyone, who intended reaching her.

"You shouldn't be daydreaming this time, don't you think?" Angie's faint voice reached her consciousness as she stared at her. Leaving her unanswered, vera walked pass her, towards the window, which was half opened as the curtains danced with the rhthym of the cool morning breeze. She stared at the city's view blankly, as the just-risen sun shone softly on the city streets, bringing it with flurry of early morning activity. The cool breeze gently kissed her face, as she inhaled deeply, trying to cook her nerves.

After some minutes, vera spoke...

"And if I refuse?" Vera asked seriously, looking outside absentmindedly, as if communicating to the window, but since it was only the two of them, it was obviously directed to Angie. Angie walked elegantly towards her and leaned okay the window frame, staring at the girl whose gaze was still locked outside, contemplating her next move.

"I don't to refusing work, vera, you know me to well. No matter how you try every way you break my rule, there will always...always be a consequence" She replied firmly, looking at her at her front.

Vera could only get her teeth in dismay, biting her molars really hard, that the sound of cracking could be heard. A dry smile etched her lips. After calming down, she spoke...

"I don't take orders"

"Neither do you get to decide, vera" She interjected mockingly. Vera then disguise the irritated look with a smile, a smile that didn't reach her eyes, before looking at her, with her tender arms crossed over her chest.

"Don't waist your time supplying that cheap threat Angie, just got home" She sounded tired, but deep down, she was just intending to play weak before her. And as expected, it amused Angie a bit.

"Oh no vera" She shoved her hand dramatically at vera, walking away from the window before going back to sit on the couch.

"This is just the beginning compared to what I have in storage for you, Vee" Although, the word came out lightly from her mouth, it signifies double meaning, which vera definitely understood, as she could sense and already planned threat. With a little confidence, she walked towards Angie and squatted down to her level, before bringing her face closer to her ear, whispering.

"I will be waiting" She replied casually, as she released her head from hers before tilting her head sideways, which made Angie smile in truimph.

"Oh...in case you have forgotten, that is the way out of my house" she pointed at the exit door, like an innocent kid, as Angie stood up and walked pass her.

Once she left the house, she stood at her door and said something that made her shudder in fear.

"You better plan a funeral, seeing his corpse sent to your door step or I will plan it myself. Wait for my orders! Until then, bye" She waved her hands frantically before walking towards a black BVM car, parked at her front, entering it gracefully. Vera slammed the door hard, before leaning on it, crying frustratingly.

"Miss, where to?" A man asked, who was sitting at the driver's seat, looking at the rearview mirror, which reflected a lady who was done making a call, with an evil grin.

"Country T" She replied coldly, as the man nodded before starting the engine, screeching away with full speed.
