CHAPTER - XXXII

It had been three days since Natasha showed the training room to Derek and the others, at this moment Derek was alone there doing his daily mission.

While doing his daily routine he smiled as he remembered how his friends ended up after a training session with Nat except for Kamala and Cassie as they had been trained by her

He also remembered how much he had improved with his control and manipulation these days thanks to the enemies Jarvis created for him to train his powers.

Derek : "Jarvis I need your help my friend, create air and ground targets for training please."

Jarvis: "Gladly Sir Derek."

Jarvis said so that in seconds drones appeared and started shooting at him to which Derek started dodging with [ Flash Fire ] leaving his toe prints after each foot showing how much he had increased his mastery in [ Flame Kata ]

But Jarvis had predicted this by making synthezoids appear in Derek's path almost taking him by surprise when one of the synthezoids was aiming for his head but he used [ Phantom Pace ] fooling the robot and lashed out with an Ironbreaker and through his head turning into Light particles.

Jarvis realized this wouldn't be enough to put pressure on Derek so he created an army of Synthezoids and drones.

"Well it looks like it's time to show off the new arsenal."

The first to move were the synthezoids running towards Derek, he for his part covered his body in absorbing metal as he noticed how the drones were firing energy bullets, still without moving from where he was.

Derek put his arms in X with his hands open showing his fingers in which they began to swirl and condense flames.

When the hundred of synthezoids were about five meters away from Derek, he attacked, ten bursts of concentrated and condensed fire came out of his fingers and began to move them as if they were threads, but if you looked closely you would realize that in the middle of those lasers there was an absorbent metal web increasing the damage and attack of the technique created by Derek.

This was the new ability that Derek had created in three days.

*Infernal spider web: It is an attack that sends bursts of condensed fire from the tips of the fingertips along with a thin metal thread increasing its damage and power. *

In a few seconds all the robots had been cut into many pieces without any resistance, then he saw the drones and smiled.

(It's time for the aerial attack) thought Derek to concentrate his flames and heat condensing them in his hands and feet starting to float stabilizing and increasing the fire production to fly away, while flying and dodging the attacks of the drones he began to walk in circles taking them to a single place and puffing his cheeks once everything was in place he let out a Roar of the Fire Dragon destroying all the drones without leaving any trace.

*Applause, Applause*

Natasha : "Well done in these three days you have improved like no other of your friends" said Nat as she saw Derek's progress.

"Thank you Nat" he said as he landed

Derek : "But they are not completed yet I still don't perfectly regulate the output and temperature of my infernal web, as for the flight I don't feel comfortable flying that way it's like my body is telling me I shouldn't do it that way"

(Or maybe it's because I am part Dragon) he said and thought making Nat take seriously what this one said, but as if to forget about it she changed the subject.

Natasha : "You know it's been a while since you and I have had a friendly spar, I want to see how much you've improved" Nat proposed.

Derek looked for a moment thoughtfully

Derek : "Sure but let's set some rules so you won't complain when I beat you."

"Oh it looks like your powers weren't the only thing that changed" Nat smiled at what he said, "Very well I won't use any weapons and you won't use your powers or that style you used just now we will only use our physical abilities, keys or counter attacks" she listed the rules for the match.

"Fair enough if one of us breaks the rules we lose" Derek agreed but not before stating a rule to which Nat nodded.

Once they agreed Nat took off her top leaving only a sports bra, Derek got into his traditional boxing pose while Nat spread her legs a little apart and bent one leg while her left arm was forward and her right arm was backward.

Seeing the position Natasha took, Derek became serious knowing that she would not hold back when fighting him.

Derek's face was a little sweaty which accumulated on his chin and fell as he hit the rocky floor created by the room Nat ran towards him and threw a kick concentrating all his weight on it, Derek threw his body back as Nat's leg tried to connect on his face but it shifted his center a little changing his leg into a hammer kick.

Derek stepped hard and put his arms in x when he saw Nat's change, meeting with Nat's leg and the same blow made him move taking advantage of it he did a somersault to regain stability, seeing her hand trying to grab him he moved to the side avoiding her to grab him but without avoiding the next attempt to grab Nat who tied his right arm taking Derek to the ground.

The first thing to hit the ground was his face and the rest of his body half a second later, without wasting any time Nat pulled his arm backwards earning a groan from Derek.

Derek for his part still did nothing to change his position or get out of his grip he just watched with some effort as Nat was pressing him down, she had placed one leg on his back while stretching his arm with a wrenching motion that put pressure on his shoulder area and to make more force Nat pulled his body forward causing Derek's eyes to widen in surprise as he felt two things rubbing his back.

Yes it was Nat's breasts on his back making his already unstable hormones from his change to dragon stir "You really like doing this don't you?"

Natasha : "Well it's useful and whenever I do it to my victims and enemies I manage to subdue them faster, although I'm surprised this is working on you now, you seem to have grown up nicely" Nat teased him.

Already tired of this Derek took a big breath of air, surprising the avenger, Derek freed himself from that key with sheer force

When he was free, he turned his body and while Nat was still surprised he moved his legs and hooked her waist causing an "Ep" in Russian to escape from Nat and Derek moved his waist laterally exerting force on her legs crashing her to the floor and now he was on top of her.

Nat was surprised by this and tried to move her hands to grab his neck but found Derek's head hard and then let out a groan as he hit her with his forehead.

Both Inhuman (mutant) and Avenger remained still for a few seconds. Derek was straddling Nat who kept looking at him, and he was doing the same observing her beautiful red hair and how some strands were on her forehead.

"Looks like I win the first match" said Derek making Nat sigh.

"Yeah but it's only the first" said Nat, Derek for his part just stood up and took Nat's hand helping her up "Only the first" he questioned.

Natasha : "We never said it would only be one showdown that would decide the victor" scoffed Nat.

"You don't like to lose do you?" he asked only to receive a smile from her.

Derek and Nat took distance and prepared for the new round, Derek took the first step, throwing a boxing punch with his right along with his weight stepping in with his left leg, something Nat saw, observing that move she raised her arms and tried to evade the direct hit, finding that Derek had anticipated that and was forced to cover her face, being pushed by the force behind that move and see how her arms trembled, but without giving her time to recover Derek struck again, Nat barely evaded the blow by a lock.

She felt it, when Derek's fist was inches away from hitting her, she felt how threatening that fist was if it hit her but yet oddly enough she knew that if for some strange reason the punch had connected it wouldn't have hurt her making her smile and want to go through with this second round.

They were so focused on the fight that they didn't notice the group that had entered being Kamala, Cassie, Cerise, Theo and Dante who were surprised to see Derek and Nat's fight.

"I have to ask Derek to teach me how to fight" commented Theo, Dante nodded in agreement as the girls looked at them as if they were idiots knowing why they wanted Derek to train them.

So time went by with none of them winning the second match and being watched by the group of inhumans, until an alarm started to sound throughout the room or rather throughout the Chimera

Natasha : "Shit I want everyone to get ready we are under attack"

Nat shouted as she stopped and picked up her weapons, the rest did the same thanks to Theo and Cerise who opened portals to their rooms and took their equipment and their teammates out through the portals.

Once they left the room the Chimera began to move slowly, forcing not only Derek's group but also the Inhumans and scientists in the anthill to move towards the glass windows, Derek reacted quickly and used his metal web and spinning arts a few seconds before the ship flipped over creating a metal net that captured the Inhumans and scientists from falling into the afterlife or dying from the impact.

Kamala, Cassie, Theo and Dante reacted in time while Nat used her hook to hook herself to a wall, Cerise didn't react in time but Derek shot a spider web at her and pulled her to him and she clung to him by instinct and they fell into the metal frame the rest did the same as Derek.

"Even though the glass is made to withstand impact and pressure I don't want to risk it" he commented being heard by everyone, who thought the same as Derek.

Natasha : "We have to move, Tony and Bruce are facing a group of synthezoids, while Hank is in the cockpit trying to move the ship to its original position."

CRASH

BOOM

Was what cut Natasha's sentence short as one of the windows shattered, causing everyone to focus their attention towards whatever had entered the ship all they could think was "Holy crap" as they saw the slightly larger than usual adaptoid covered in purple energy as well as what could be its eyes.

The robot focused on them or rather on a specific person.

The Adaptoid discharged a large beam of energy from its head towards Derek, "Theo" shouted Derek receiving a "Yes", Theo created a portal in front of Derek swallowing the energy beam and creating another portal in front of the adaptoid from which the energy beam exited taking him out of the ship.

"See ya Big Head" Derek shouted in derision and as if hearing him the person controlling the adaptoid shouted "Derek".

"You guys go help Hank and the wounded I'll go out and give support to Tony and Hulk" he said as he walked over to Theo as he took Cerise in his arms passing her to his brother

Derek : "Cerise your brother will take care of you I'll be gone for a while" he smiled as he saw her look at him.

"Take care" she said once her brother held her, Derek for his part walked over to where the adaptoid had been ejected.

"Be careful girls and Lucy you stay I want you to help Jarvis in case the big head tries to get smart" he said giving Natasha to Lucy who understood what he was trying to say and jumped out the window the adaptoid entered not before whispering "Take care" to Nat, Kamala and Cassie.
