CHAPTER - VI

UNKNOWN LOCATION: FOREST

We can see Kamala and Derek following Bruce through the Forest as he explains what they are looking for.

Bruce : "This place is where Tony hid most of his stuff when STARK Industries fell apart and if anyone knows where Tony is it's JARVIS, come this way it should lead us to the secret entrance to the Registry."

Derek : "let's go faster the better."

Bruce : "Yeah, let's go."

Bruce : "Wait kids take these headphones if for some reason we get separated, we will always be in communication"

Bruce : "plus these are special ones, once you put them on they become invisible"

"Wow this will be a big help if AIM finds us" said Derek to start following Bruce and ask him some questions.

Kamala : "But tell me Doctor Banner why did you go back to the CHIMERA?"

Bruce : "Well, actually it wasn't me. It was him."

"So he chased away the resistance" Kamala interrupted.

Bruce : "Actually, I don't remember seeing anyone Kamala. The big guy ran into some SHIELD Agents, but after that nothing."

"I see, I understand" Kamala said stepping forward to leave Bruce and Derek in awkward silence.

Bruce : "Tell me Derek how did you and Kamala meet?"

Derek : "Well actually I met her 2 days ago, we met in the park where the statues of all the Avengers are and when I was thinking of leaving."

Derek : "This whole chase with AIM happened, you know for now I think all people with powers can be problematic but it depends on what purpose you want to put your powers to, you will make a difference or watch the world be destroyed and from what I could see you are very afraid of your gifts."

Bruce : "This is not a gift Derek, it's a curse, the only thing the Hulk brings is destruction and fear, I have seen it first hand, he is the monster that was created when I got that gamma ray burst, every time I try to talk to him he always attacks me in our mind"

Derek : "Tell me Bruce do you really think the Hulk is a monster, as I see it when that explosion happened he came out to help you when you should have died."

Derek : "The only thing I have been able to see so far in the big guy is just that he's still a child and why is he so upset with you is that so far you have always tried to kill him."

Derek : "You've never thanked him for saving you whenever you are in trouble"

Derek : "You should talk to him and try to reassure him in the process, show him that you are not his enemy, it worked for me and now I am his friend, besides he protected Kamala when I asked him to, you shouldn't put all the blame for what has happened in your life on the Hulk, you should think about what I told you Bruce" said Derek as Kamala yelled at them.

Kamala - "Guys I think I found something."

With that their conversation ended but Bruce was still thoughtful about what Derek said, they entered what looked like a cave and a moment later they found Kamala looking down a hole where a person could pass through.

Kamala : "It's a little tight guys but I think what we're looking for is just ahead let's go."

Kamala told them to start going through the hole, the rest follow her.

Bruce : "Yeah Kamala it's this way, if I remember correctly there's a clearing up ahead the entrance should be there."

Kamala : "Great, mmm btw something happened between you two."

Derek : "No nothing important Kamala I just asked Bruce about some science stuff that's all."

Kamala : "You know about science Derek" said surprised.

Derek : "Hey that hurt that you thought I was an idiot with muscles and no brains."

Kamala : "Well it's just that you don't look like someone of science, and not to mention that your body despite not being muscular has them where they belong."

Seeing that Kamala chose her words poorly and how innocent she is he decided to tease her a little.

Derek : "Ohh seriously but for you to say something like that that means you've been watching me a lot no."

Kamala : "What, no no no no...that's what I meant." said as she was flustered to reply at the same time not hurt him.

Derek : "Then am I not attractive"

"Not that either I... I want to... d" but she was interrupted by the laughter of this one himself.

Derek : "HAHAHAHA calm down Kamala I was just joking".

Kamala : "You! don't make fun of me!" Said as she was pouting.

Derek : "HAHAHAHA I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I couldn't help it, but actually yes I am from science Kamala you know actually I won a scholarship to STARK Industries and thanks to that I was where it happened on A day."

Kamala : "You were there Derek"

Derek : "Yes Kamala"

Kamala : "I wish we had met back then."

Kamala : "Mmm interesting but tell me Derek what was the project you submitted to win the scholarship, it had to be really good for Stark Industries to give you a scholarship"

Derek : "Well I presented a thesis on how to unlock the full potential of our brains up to 100% with the CPH4 that pregnant women uses" but suddenly Bruce walked up to him and put his hands on Derek's shoulders

Bruce : "So, that was you, well lemme remind you your research was amazing I have never seen anything so beautiful if I may say, but that is also dangerous because AIM knows about your research and if they manage to use it I don't know what will happen."

Derek : "Mmm I know but I don't think we should worry about that, because in my thesis I never explained how they could extract the CPH4 and even if they do it won't work because the person who unlocks their full brain potential will die because their body won't resist all the information and power this will give them."

Bruce : "Whew that's a relief"

Derek : "Yeah and I'm glad I did it that way".

Kamala : "Guys I know this is all great but let's keep going and Bruce you should let go of Derek he's getting uncomfortable."

Bruce : "Oh I'm sorry I got a little excited, well now let's get on with it."

Kamala : "Right Bruce what does JARVIS look like?"

Bruce : "It's like a hard drive from 1998"

After that no further conversation arose between the three of them and although the rest of the walk was silent it wasn't uncomfortable at all, about twenty minutes later they were in front of a waterfall and on the ground there was a circular door with the details of an ARK reactor.

Kamala : "Wow you know in Jersey City there are no places like this, it's so... peaceful."

"Yeah you're right I hadn't visited for a while, Tony let me come, it's a good place to be in peace" said Bruce to stand on top of the door and start moving the lever to open it but after several attempts it didn't open "Haa looks like it's sealed".

While Bruce was trying to open the door a sniper was aiming at them with energy weapon specialized to neutralize inhumans.

Once he had them in his sights he shot them, but he didn't count on Derek's enhanced senses who dodged the shots while pushing Kamala a shot in the leg but Bruce had no luck receiving one in the back to then writhe on the ground while the energy as if it was lightning surrounded his body with more pain.

AIM SNIPER: "I GOT HIM! SEND IN CONTAINMENT UNITS!"

"Bruce are you ok, we need to get out of here before they surround us" said Derek trying to get Bruce to listen to him but this only said "Run".

"Not without you" but at that Bruce starts to grow exponentially as did his muscles and they were turning green and look where they were only to see them closing in on him, at that he yelled with what little consciousness he had left "RUN!"

Derek : "Come on Kamala"

Kamala : "What but..."

Derek : "No buts once Hulk comes out he will attack whatever is in front of him come on" only to start running while pulling Kamala but while running he could see how Hulk started attacking the synthezoids

But these were very different in appearance and power, they looked more human and although they were not equipped with weapons every attack they gave on Hulk before he destroyed them.

(for those who don't know the system allows him to see the name of his enemy and according to the color of the name he will know how strong his enemy is, white means weak, orange means strong and red means stronger than Derek himself).

Once Derek and Kamala left Bruce had already finished transforming 6 of the new synthezoids that are already 4 feet away from him.

But the Hulk grabbed one by the head as if it was nothing to start squeezing it once the robot stopped moving he threw it at the other primitive synthezoids destroying three at once and roaring hitting his chest to run and tackle one.

But once he destroyed the synthezoids a ship appeared from which came out more synthezoids and also those who faced Kamala and Derek with plasma gun and 2 with shields and a plasma sword, but Hulk without a hint of fear only angrier roared at them.

"Hulk smash scrap metal..... GRRAA" and jump 5 meters to clench his fists while putting his arms back for more strength and fall on top of one of the synthezoids with shield and sword but this did not resist two seconds before giving in to the attack of this and send them all to fly leaving only the 3 strongest synthezoids.

Hulk got up quickly to pierce the ground with his fingers and tear off a large part of it to lift it over his head and throw it in the direction of the syntezoids with the plasma guns and destroy them only leaving one synthezoid which is the one with the shield and the plasma sword that came running in his direction.

Hulk also ran only to stop at the last moment before colliding and take advantage of this to hit his shield with his fist and send it to fly.

At the same time, he jumped and fell into the depths of it and started hitting his shield which only withstood 3 hits from the Hulk before it was destroyed and he kept hitting it until it exploded and a still angry Hulk came out of the flames while looking at the ship.

MISSION FAILED, I REPEAT MISSION FAILED, FLIGHT TO BASE I RETURN TO BASE

Said the pilot of the ship to start turning but Hulk grabbed two synthezoids to start making them a single metal ball and throw it to one of the engines of the ship making it start spinning like crazy and crash on the other side of the waterfall.

Derek : "Hulk do you hear me it's me Derek."

Hulk : "where hulk's buddy?"

Derek : "Yeah big guy it's me we have to be just again up the waterfall rest so we can find each other since just like you those junk also attacked us and we ended up on another path you understand me big guy."

Hulk : "Hulk understand... Hulk look for friends"

"Alright we will be here" said Derek as he held in his left hand covered in metal scales the last of the primitive synthezoids (interesting although they are stronger than the yellow synthezoids their defense is the same, every time they attack they release energy although very small and the damage is not noticeable if you don't pay attention but in the long run ara effect if they enhance these more it will get dangerous).

While Hulk climbed a part of the waterfall to begin to make small jumps and propel himself with the trees to reach a cliff and jump to the wall of these and jump between them and hold on with only the strength of his fingers and jump to reach the other side once he reached the other side he entered what looked like a large cave but if you looked closely you could see power sources and transformers with tubes connected to these once he arrived he said.

"AIM"

"Yeah big guy they are from AIM, everything is fine" said Derek to get out of one of the generators he is checking,

"Dude" shouted Hulk to hug Derek and lift him up.

Derek : "HAHAHA I'm glad you're okay big guy and even though I wish I could keep it up but we gotta go big boy AIM has set up a base here, we need to find JARVIS would you take us buddy."

Hulk : "Dude good to the Hulk... Hulk just take friend."

"Your not be friend with Hulk" Hulk said innocently as he cocked his head to one side, for his part Derek was trying to contain his laughter.

Derek : "HAHAHA Hulk it's ok you know she told me she wanted to be friends with you plus she is very grateful to you for saving her"

Hulk : "MM be true...want to be friends with the Hulk not weak Banner".

"Ehh sure I do, I want to be your friend green boy how about friends" smiled Kamala as she stretched out her hand a little and enlarged it enough to give a handshake of to the Hulk who responded as he smiled and returned the shake (I think I heard something break) thought Derek as he watched Kamala rub her hand which had marks of a very large hand.

"Friends get on Hulk...I'll take you" once they got on Derek spoke "Hulk you see those pipes I want you to follow them that will take us to their base".

"Hulk understand" was the last thing Hulk said to start jumping between the walls of the mountains and cliffs to after five minutes to see three buildings connected to each other by bridges.

Derek : "Looks like AIM took over the place."

Hulk : "GRR Hulk not like AIM."

Derek : "I know big guy, we don't like them either."

Kamala : "Do you still think Mr. Stark is here Derek?"

Derek : "I don't think so. At the moment I'm more worried about how to get in."

"Maybe I can get in through the ducts or..." but at that the Hulk starts running to jump up and hit the ground and destroy it and send all the robots and workers flying through the shockwave.

"O let's go for the easier way crush hahaha, stay here Kamala I will clear the way with Hulk" said Derek to also run while activating his abilities superhuman strength, superhuman speed plus covering his body with metallic scales and from his hands nails started to protrude a little bit, to finally jump like Hulk.

"HAHAHA I've always wanted to do this superhero landing" shouted Derek to fall with one leg bent while the other leg had a knee on the ground just like his left hand while his other arm was behind.

"Surprice Motherfuckers" he yelled at them but at that a blue screen appeared in front of him.
