Android 21, The pacifist

On a plain grass field.

A muscular man with an orange mohawk was sitting while looking at the sun that was setting.

Despite his appearance, he had a gentle soul.

"Sixteen...." 21 who appeared near him said as she looked at the man.

"No, ... You are not sixteen. You are Gevo." She said as the man that was in front of her became a little boy.

He smiled at her.

When she looked at him she didn't know what to say.

Should she say Sorry for trying to bring him back to life in spite of his wishes?

Should she apologise for not respecting what he wanted?

Should she apologise for not being there for him when he needed her like a real mother should have?

"I am sorry." 21 said to Gevo.

"Why?" the boy asked.

"For....." She didn't know why she was apologising or what she had to apologise about.

But she thought that she had to apologise to him.

"Everything." She continued.

Before she knew it tears were starting to drop down from her face.

"..." He didn't reply to her and let her cry to her heart's content.

He only looked at her with pity in his eyes.

He walked to her to hug her.

"It's okay." He consulted her.

"It's not your fault." He said.

"You tried to be with me since you were conscious. And knowing that is enough for me." The boy said.

He knows that 21 is someone who is programmed after his mother.

But at the end of the day, she was not his mother.

She was someone who had no purpose other than being his "mother".

Gevo who is known as Android 16 was what you would call a pacifist.

Someone who would not want to hurt others even if his life is in danger.

But in the past, he was forced to fight for his friends and peace despite his beliefs.

The world is a cruel place, not suitable for someone like him to exist in.

As long as Free will exist the world will never be able to find peace.

While he was hugging 21 he muttered something to her before disappearing.

21 woke up from her dream.

She was in a small one-bedroom apartment.

There were not many things in that room.

There is a picture of Gevo.

A few items such as an electric kettle, microwaves, a stove, a small plastic box that has kitchen appliances and a small wardrobe that has a full body mirror.

It was not very large and didn't even have a separate kitchen but for 21 it was liveable.

"It's that dream again." She said as she got out of the bed.

And picked up her glasses.

She went into the shower to take a quick bath.

Changed her clothes.

Have an instant ramen for breakfast.

Before picking up that white lab coat that was on the coat hanger and went out.

There was a name tag on her lab coat.

That said Android 21. Head Researcher of Capsule Cooperation.

All her life she was trying to be Vomi. But she now knows that she is not her.

She is Android 21. Her own person.

She has become even stronger than she was in the past. Goten thought as he passed by 21 in the main lobby of Capsule Corporation.

She was even stronger than before separating herself into two parts.

He was confused.

Although he thought that her recovering the same amount of power that is comparable to her other self was a possibility but he didn't know about her absorbing Super Perfect Cell and 16 later that day.

So her becoming stronger was a mystery to him.

But he didn't care. But because he knows that she is now a warrior who fights for peace.

"Hey. What are you dozing off for? Let's go. Mai and the others are waiting for us." Trunks called out to Goten.

"You should not call your sister and Marron the others," Goten replied to Trunks while smiling.

Goten and his friends were able to relax for a while as peace returned.

He didn't know how long it would last but Goten knew that he should enjoy it while he still could because in the world that he was living in a world-ending threat could just pop out of nowhere.

In the future timeline where Goten never existed another man is also fighting for peace.

"Dammit. The lock is broken." A tall blue-haired man said as he tried to enter the Capsule Corporation main building which was now worn out.

He was accompanied by a pale-skinned girl with long black hair who was holding a shotgun.

"I have no choice." He said as he launched a ki blast at the door destroying it.

"Hey. What if he noticed us?" The girl said to the boy.

"We will be safe inside." He reassured.

"You have returned." A man who was covered in a dark silhouette said to the boy.

"Haaaa." The boy launched a ki blast at the dark silhouette.

"Mai. Hurry. Get inside." He said as he pulled the hand of the girl as they ran into the capsule cooperation building.

"Hahaha. You can't hide from me." the dark silhouette said as he followed the boy and the girl.

"Mai. Go on without me. The time machine is right there." He said as he pulled out the sword that he was carrying on his back.

"I will hold him off as long as I can." He said as he dashed toward the man who just sent him flying away with a slap to the face.

The man in the silhouette revealed himself as he looked at the boy.

It was Goku. But it was not him at the same time.

He just has the body of Son Goku but his soul is that of a divine being on a higher tier than Noth Kai.

"Black." The boy said as he looked at the man.

The boy's name was Trunks.

A warrior from a different future who has to survive in a world without Goku.

And he is now having to face someone who is using Goku's body to threaten the lives of his beloved friends and family.
