Rune fired several shots until he killed the hunter. Not quite there, he tore apart the hunter's flesh without eating it. He did this until all the bones of the hunter were visible. Alexa, who had been sobbing, was now astonished to see the man's actions.
Awoooo!
Rune approached Alexa with a smile and wiped the tears from Alexa's cheeks. Alexa looked at him worriedly. "Rune, you're still alive. This isn't a ghost?"
"This has happened so many times," Rune replied as she pulled Alexa into her arms. One by one, the bullets pierced his back, rising to the surface of his skin and falling to the ground. He tightened his arms when he felt the pain that always appeared every time it happened.
The next day, Rune woke up in her bedroom. From his window, he saw the sun was rising. Rune also remembers Alexa bringing her to this bedroom last night. He left and went to Alexa's room. Fremont called out to her when he was in front of Alexa's room.
"Alexa has been going to the village since morning. She had entered your room and immediately came out when she saw you were still sleeping," said Fremont when he was about to meet Rune this morning. He also saw that Rune was still sleeping after Alexa came out of Rune's bedroom.
Rune sighed. After Alexa left, Rune's mind returned to its original state. He thought again about his reason for wanting to be good at shooting. "Fremont, I will do it tonight," said Rune with a severe face.
"Huh?" Fremont didn't understand where Rune was talking.
"I will... kill Velisa."

"Is Velisa going to be bait again tonight?" asked Fremont, who had accompanied Rune around the forest from nightfall until almost late at night. He held a pair of binoculars to see if they were listening to anything. They had turned into wolves that could stand on both legs.
"Who knows. If she doesn't come tonight, we can come back tomorrow," replied Rune, who kept moving her ears to make her hearing sharper.
"You have to be careful there. When you turn into a human near her, maybe other hunters shoot you right away," Fremont reminded.
"I should have said that to you," Rune responded hesitantly.
Fremont chuckled. "You are right. After all, nothing can kill you."
Rune didn't respond to Fremont's words because she was focused. A second later, he heard a female voice. Even though it was faint, he was sure that the woman was Velisa. "She came," said Rune.
"Really?" Fremont peered through the handheld binoculars. Velisa walked next to a young man carrying a rifle.
They dashed and hid behind the trees to get closer to Velisa's position and the hunters who were after the werewolves. Slowly but surely, they inhaled a fragrant aroma as they got closer to the woman. After Rune confirmed that Velisa and the hunter had started the Plan, she also appeared.
"Runes?" surprised Velisa with a surprised and panicked face. She couldn't stop Rune from approaching this time because the man shot straight in front of her.
On the other hand, Fremont tiptoed to Dicky, aiming for Rune's head behind the bushes. He immediately smothered Dicky and made the hunter faint. "Runes!" call Fremont.
Velisa gasped and immediately turned to the source of the sound. Instantly, Rune shot towards Fremont, then raised the weapon that Dicky had used earlier. The woman was wide-eyed because Rune pointed the rifle at her. She was silent not because she feared death but because she felt betrayed.
"Why?" asked Velisa in her heart. She looked at Rune's eyes which were focused on her. She felt the air around her grow cold. Ren closed his eyes before the man pulled the trigger. Then, there was an ear-splitting gunshot.
The runes fell silent as the woman's body collapsed to the ground. He dropped the weapon feeling empty. With unsteady steps, he approached the woman's body. He carried the woman's frail body and brought her to the palace with a dash.
Blood splattered in the palace halls coming from Velisa's body. The palace maids who ran into Rune covered their mouths in shock. This was the first time the Rune carried the body of its prey, not just the heart. Rune didn't even pay attention to the reactions of the maids and just walked straight to her destination, which was the experimental material storage room.
Rune laid Velisa in a glass coffin prepared after making up her mind. He stared blankly at the pale face of the woman he had killed. Then, he closed his eyes as he extended his hand over the woman's body. Just then, Velisa's eyes opened, and she stared at Rune.
It turns out Rune's guess was wrong. Velisa is still alive and now looks at him warmly while saying something so quietly that it is not audible. Runes read the movement of the woman's lips. The woman's eyes closed again while Rune froze where he stood.
Velisa says, "I'm glad I met my Alpha."
Rune lowered his hand. He flipped out and walked out of the lab. Fremont went over and said a few words, but rune ignored the man and went into his bedroom.
Rune closes the door loudly, then leans back and pulls out his hair with his hands. Afterward, he gazed at the quivering palms of his hands. That last thing Velisa said left him with no idea what to do.
"Rune! Open the door!" Fremont yelled, thumping. As if he hadn't heard, rune hadn't responded to Fremont's screams. "What's going on? Are you regretting what you did? Does it matter now? You killed her, and you can't go back in time!"
Rune is down. He's pretty messed up. The one he shouldn't kill with his own hands is his Mate. Although she already has the Luna, but Mate is the couple that ensures the werewolves aren't extinct. If he kills his Mate, the werewolf will suffer a curse he never imagined.
Awoooooo!
