FENG LIE'S POV

"Oh... Please... Someone close... The curtain..." I said very sleepily without opening my eyes, I covered my face with my blanket.

"Feng Lie it's time for you to wake up..." a female voice spoke to me as she gently shook my shoulder and tried to pull my blanket back.

"Just thirty more minutes..." I said sleepily as I gripped my blanket tightly.

"Feng Lie, it's time for you to get up... If you don't get up, who's going to make you breakfast?" the female voice spoke impatiently as she shook me quickly.

"Ten more minutes..." I said as I desperately tried not to wake up.

After that I didn't hear the female voice anymore and I wasn't rocked anymore.

"Finally some rest..." I thought as I was falling asleep again.

But at that moment...

*SPLASH* *SPLASH*

I got completely wet. Both my bed and I were completely wet with water.

I took off the wet blanket and lifted my head to look for the culprit.

In the room was just one girl with amethyst eyes and long dark hair tied in a ponytail. She appeared to be 10 years old and was wearing a white dress.

"Gu Yuena, of all the ways to wake someone up, did you choose this method right away?" I complained all soaking wet as I got out of bed.

"I initially tried to wake you up gently but you ignored me so I had to use a more effective method to wake you up." Gu Yuena spoke with a playful smile while in her raised right hand there was a floating sphere of water.

*Sigh*

"So? Are the others awake yet?" I asked. Although I'm a little annoyed at being woken up like this, I quickly calmed down, because I remembered what happened last night.

Gu Yuena looked a little surprised that I wasn't mad at her.

"Why did you wake up and go to sleep so late yesterday? Did you waste time practicing magecraft again?" Gu Yuena asked as she crossed her arms.

"No, it wasn't. Do you think I'm the type of person who would stay up all night in the basement because of magecraft?" I spoke quickly while being a little embarrassed.

"Yes, you summed up everything I was going to say to describe you." Gu Yuena spoke without hesitation.

I let out a sigh at Gu Yuena's words.

"It's true that I like to spend a lot of time practicing magecraft. But still, I'm not a magecraft junkie." I thought a little indignantly and annoyed because of Gu Yuena's words.

At that moment I released my spirit energy and two spirit rings appeared under my feet and went up to my waist.

A yellow spirit ring and a yellow spirit ring with a slight shade of purple.

"Did you advance to rank 30?" Gu Yuena asked in surprise.

"Hehe, exactly. Last night I had a moment of enlightenment and thanks to that I had a smooth transition to rank 30." I said studying his chest proudly as I placed both my hands on my waist.

"I see, it really makes sense that you went to sleep so late yesterday. By the way, I can see that you even created your third spirit ring." Gu Yuena spoke up.

"I will not create my third spirit ring now. I will wait until my second spirit ring is a thousand years old and becomes a purple spirit ring." I said while looking at my spirit rings.

My first spirit ring is 673 years old.

And my second spirit ring is 976 years old.

As the age of the ring grows it will become more and more difficult to increase the age of the spirit ring.

When I created my first spirit ring I was at rank 10 and because of that I was able to create a 110 year old ring. At that moment I became a Spiritual Master.

When I reached rank 20, the spirit ring I created was 590 years old. At that moment I became a Spiritual Grand Master.

Now that I'm at rank 30, I feel like the next spirit ring I create will be a purple ring over a thousand years old.

"How long do you think it will take for your second spirit ring to reach the thousand years?" Gu Yuena asked with interest.

"I think it will take about 3 months or maybe 2 months to become a purple spirit ring." I replied to Gu Yuena.

The reason I decided not to create my third spirit ring now was to have a solid foundation.

It's like they say. "If you want to build a tall tower, you need a solid foundation."

In the four years I've known Gu Yuena, I've heard many stories from the past. And one of those stories was about the Dragon God.

When I heard the story about the Dragon God and his powers and cultivation method, I only had one thought:

After hearing about the Dragon God cultivation method I remembered that in the novels I read there were methods for cultivating the body in the novels I read, like the Great Way of the Buddha in the Against The Gods novel.

I tried searching my mental library for something similar, but the results were unsatisfactory.

I couldn't find many methods to strengthen my body in a similar way. And the few methods I've found require me to abandon my humanity, so I obviously didn't choose to take that course.

Not getting anything with magecraft I had to resort to a much more extreme method, I have to do the...

Saitama's training.

Since the age of eight, I kept myself in this hellish training.

Training consists of 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats and the 10km run every day.
