FENG LIE'S POV

"Feng Lie, you've finally arrived. Do you have any idea how long it took you? We're hungry..." Xiao Wu complained impatiently at the table.

"If you're that hungry then make your own food." I replied back as I was getting some eggs and pieces of meat out of the fridge.

In these four years that have passed, there have been several discoveries regarding the Mystic Code and the spiritual energy of this world.

In these four years, Luxon and I studied the spiritual energy of this world as it originates from the soul as well as magical energy.

Research only showed results last year when we finally figured out how to convert spiritual energy into magical energy and vice versa.

Thanks to that, I can now use my workshop which has been upgraded to middle age mage level to gather and store magical energy. With this my magical energy shortage problem has been resolved and I can transfer this magical energy to myself in times of need.

I also studied the essence tools that were registered in my Unlimited Creation Works.

I admit that it is very difficult to create an essence tool. In these four years I traveled to a few cities and was lucky to be able to look at some essence tools, thanks to that I was able to register several essence tools in my Unlimited Creation Works.

With all the essence tools samples I was able to understand the method of creating the essence tools, and I also understand why the knowledge of creating these tools was lost...

In addition to the creation method being very complex, it is also necessary precious metals that have high adaptability to spiritual energy. And from what I've seen so far... Unfortunately, there are no more of these ores on the Douluo continent. Probably the ores were completely depleted in the past.

So far I haven't found any suitable ore for essence tools.

I tried using transmutation magecraft on some other ores to see if it was possible to make these ores suitable for crafting essence tools but so far no success but I will keep trying until I succeed.

As for the Mystic code, thanks to the ores I got from the Star Dou forest I managed to produce several of them.

Some of the Mystic Codes are like home appliances on earth, some examples are the fridge I just got the breakfast ingredients out of. I also built an oven, a microwave, a washing machine, etc.

The reason I built these appliances is quite simple...

It's because I'm a modern-day person. And because of that I refuse to live in an era similar to ancient China without the comforts of home appliances.

Living without the convenience of appliances is no different from living in hell.

I also created various weapons like swords, spears, halberds, bows and etc.

Of course all the Mystic Codes I created were registered in my Unlimited Creation Works.

I also created a storage space ring. This space ring has 10 compartments with each compartment having 100 cubic meters. The ring is metallic in color with some golden parts with 10 small diamonds together in the shape of a circle.

I also discovered an important detail between the Mystic Code and spirit energy.

It is not possible to use Mystic Code using spirit energy. In the past I tried to activate a Mystic Code using spiritual energy and the result was that there was a short circuit in the Mystic Code.

Mystic Codes can only be used by those who have magical energy.

Appliances can still be used by other people as long as the appliances are connected to a magical power source.

"Feng Lie, please don't say that even if it's a joke. With the exception of you and Bi ji, all of us who tried to cook something resulted in an explosion." Gu Yuena spoke while sitting next to Xiao Wu.
