Chapter 7: Origins

In an unknown place at an unknown time period...

a planet was seemingly shaking, along with everything around it, it seemed as though the universe was shaking before a peice of it broke, then more, everything was breaking, it seemed as though the universe was collapsing in on itself, destroying everything.

Every human and every being has once thought about being immortal, through cultivation, this is possible, but once you become immortal, you cannot go back.

A single group of immortals were responsible for this, they didnt want to live anymore, they were bored of living forever, but they couldn't die, so they did something horrible. And that leads us to this situation on that planet.

to be honest, the planet looked more stable than the universe around it, but that was because of another group of immortals trying to preserve at least some life before the universe collapses and kills everything.

"We can't start it now! it's not ready!" said a man cloaked in black

"WE HAVE NO CHOICE!" said another man in black

"The origin isn't stable, the laws are in chaos!" shouted the first man desperately

"It doesn't matter if we're all dead before we start it"

Suddenly, the planet started shaking violently.

"LOOK, THE SHEILDS ARE ABOUT TO GO DOWN!"

the first man sighed " your right, I just hope this works" he then pulled a lever revealing a black box which was immediately shot into space, it was made out of the only material which could withstand the collapse of a universe. The divine alchemy ore.

A few hours earlier...

"how's the project going?" a man asked

" we've managed to get it to kind of work but it is nowhere near ready for us to start it" replied the other man

" no, the OTHER project"

"hehe, it work just fine , I have just started the search"

Hopefully now, we can prevent the oncoming calamity. the first man thought. These people were also part of the immortal who wanted to die, they just didn't want to take everyone away with them.

therefore they created 'The spark' a pill which could only be forged by an alchemist with a specific trait, one which could only be found by luck.

Upon creation, the pill will bring life back into the universe, but to create it, the ingredients needed are no short of extinct.

Beep,Beep, both of the mens notification Jades started beeping, They both knew what that meant , they quickly rushed to the assembly hall to meet up with the others.

"My fellow immortals, this is the day you've all been waiting for, We have finally manged to destabilize the origin, now right here and right now, I will destroy it. The man in the white robe who seemed to be the leader pulled out of his storage ring: an orb, bit this orb seemed to carry the essence of life and death on it it was glowing green and blue and red and all the other colours of the rainbow, it was majestic, but then the leader punched it and...

BOOM! A wave of applause rang out, everything was shaking

" Hahahahahahaahah! without the origin, we will all die!"

"Hooray! cheered nearly all of the immortals in the assembly Hall creating a very odd sight.

"God I hope this works!" said the man from before.

" well we've already started it, let's hope this works!" replied the other

"YESSSSSS!" right before both mens eyes a woman before them was sucked into the crack created from the origin being destroyed, killing her for good.

It wasn't long before all of the people on the assembly Hall were sucked in, including the two men.

The immortals had finally got what they wanted. eternal rest. but that came with a price. a price which none could afford

Suddenly, the hall became eerily quiet. all human presence erased. Then the hall was gone, and then, a day later. everything was gone. everything except for a small black box which a little golden whisp of energy rushed into.

What was this box, it was the thing the black robed men were working on, it had been launched premature in an attempt to preserve at least some life. and it did, what this box contains?

that's a mystery.
