The light that shined on the chandelier sparkled blue as the party members swayed their hips to celebrate the achievement of their company. Duncan industries are known for their outstanding riches and fame in the business world. The CEO is the third grandson of Elias Duncan who was a business tycoon. He passed on his company to his grandson Davil Duncan who was mostly called the devil of centuries . Who were other companies to dare be above his market rule . In the other side of business were the Gold family whose CEO was Ezekiel Gold . He had three children called April, Mary and Zayn. These two companies fought and hated each other due to their market competition.

I was impatient for the party to end. Why do people find pleasure in drinking and dancing with no dreams . Money and fame was all I needed . To hell with love, families , babies . I felt like vomiting as I thought of those. The Gold are lacking 20% of our market popularity and I can't make them go higher .

"Davil, are you sure this is wise. They are our rivalries after all . I don't think you should have invited them" Luke my secretary cautioned me and I chuckled. I had a plan that will bring the Golds down.

"Luke. Trust me" . I said before calling a waiter who served me plain water . My childhood wasn't the one a person can describe as childhood. I have been an adult since infant .

"Hi there. I can entertain you all night but I prefer to give you business tips. The name is Lia" . A lady in black body fitting dress tried speaking sexually. Did she really think this will impress me. I walked off on her and I felt her dumbstruck state . As I was about to head out I saw the most beautiful woman ever. She wore a blue gown with diamond necklace that fit her glowing body. Her eyes were emerald and her hair was red. She had rosy lips and I blinked continuously. Admiring this beauty, I saw my enemy creep behind her and walked towards me.

"My Duncan" . The words sounded bitter and I returned it with a cold smile and shook his hand .

"I'm glad you came Ezekiel Gold. Enjoy yourself". I repeated and tried to leave but he stopped me.

"Oh sorry for my bad manners. This is my daughter April. She is heir to the Gold industries" . I couldn't believe my eyes . I saw him talk to her but I didn't know she crawled her petite body and stood beside him all this while. I tried to respond but my throat felt too dry . Her beauty was captivating and I felt my legs wiggle.

"Please to meet you" I said lowly and she smiled broadly . I watched my state an begun to laugh out loud. I felt pity for my stupidity . They looked offended but I cared less. I didn't want to be known as weak so I walked out on them and headed to my car. I had planned on making a huge announcement but this beauty flooded my mind. I felt my anger slide through lightning and a wicked smile crossed my lips. I figured out why she was here. I never invited her. Perhaps her father wants to trap me with her. I zoomed back to when I froze in front of her and realized Mr Gold held onto a grin.

"Motherfucker. You wanna play this game. Alright let's play it". I got down from the car and walked inside the hotel. I signalled Luke to come to my direction and he did.

"What happened. You look like death" his tonation made me glare at him and he looked down. It doesn't matter if he's my only childhood friend. I still considered him my worker.

"I need to make an announcement. Go and secure the microphone and make sure everyone keeps silent .I hate noise" . He mumbled words before leaving but I paid it no attention .

While standing and sending cold glares to intimidate people her voice sneaked in my ears .

"Mr Duncan. Was there any discomfort?". Miss April asked me and I glanced at her with boredom now that I knew her real motive. I snarled at her before grinning.

"Sorry but I have an announcement to make". She hid her puzzled look and walked beside her father. I brought out a heavy breath before ascending the stage to speak. Luke sensed my anger and tapped my shoulder.

"This day mark a celebration of the beginning. We have not only ascended to 80% market support , today I announce to you that there will be an expansion of our business in beach resorts . This privilege was given by the Gold Industries since Duncan Industries possess half of their company shares ". Everyone gasped and I heard the loudest of all. Mr Gold stood frozen and I smiled in victory. I shifted my gaze beside him to watch the beauty .She concentrated on her father and tried to calm him. Starting from tomorrow the Gold will be partially under me and I would ensure I take every position to rule them.

"Are you the devil?, you must at least be his son" Miss April whispered before walking out with her father.

This novel has a lot of potential. I really enjoyed reading it and definitely adding it to my library! Great imagery, and excellent clarification when it came to characters and their personalities and traits. This is good to do at the beginning of the novel so the reader can focus on the story and character development later on. Remember to try to separate those long paragraphs into shorter ones (I usually go for 2-4 sentences then skip a line) as most of our readers are reading this on their phones/tablets and want it to be read like a book not a newspaper. Again, an incredible job, this is going to be legendary!
