The rest of the small excursion to the well passed in a more relaxed atmosphere, and, above all, no one asked Ramiel any more unnecessary questions. The former hunter also didn't have to explain anything more. Apparently, his previous explanations were enough to give him relative peace of mind.
Actually, the former hunter said little during most of the walk. Morgeth, Vitia, and Maya took over the role of talkers. They outlined a cursory history of the village's founding, the culture of the beast folk, and aspects of everyday life.
In the big short, Ramiel learned even more than he wanted to know. At one point, the conversation descended into unique methods of manipulation, use, and interpretation of mana, but Morgeth quickly interrupted the interesting discussion between Maya and the former hunter before the woman would say too much.
