In space, Cybertron emerged like a portion of Earth rising from beneath the water, occupying an area half the size of Earth itself in the cosmic expanse.
Cybertron, in its entirety, was a colossal metallic planet, 95 times larger than Earth, composed of various metallic ores with different properties. It used to be a vibrant world, thriving with technology and a strong sense of science fiction.
However, due to millions of years of internal conflicts between the Autobots and Decepticons, this metallic planet had been shattered and depleted of energy.
What now appeared in space was a decaying celestial body, akin to withered wood. The surface of the planet was marred with rusted metal, resembling a planet riddled with pits and craters formed as if molten iron had been poured into an anthill. It was devoid of any aesthetic beauty, a pitiful and broken world.
The teleportation beam from the Space Bridge shot straight up from the Hawaiian military base, pierced through the atmosphere, and seemed to pull Cybertron out of its serene cosmic sea, exposing it to the universe.
H'el floated in the thermosphere, his tight-fitting black battle suit revealing his muscular contours. As he looked up, all he could see was the decayed and pockmarked metallic surface of Cybertron.
On Earth's surface, you could look up and see this colossal, decaying metallic planet dominating a corner of the sky.
However, humanity on Earth was now too preoccupied with the invading Decepticons to pay much attention to the Cybertron descending from space. Mechanical gunfire filled the air, and terrified humans joined the Autobots in the chaos, as destruction and smoke engulfed the cities.
H'el followed the teleportation beam with his gaze. At the Hawaiian military base, Sentinel Prime, in his deep red mechanical form, stood guard over the Space Bridge, wielding twin-bladed longswords and a steel shield.
"Sentinel Prime, why aren't you following the plan?" Jazz and Ratchet, both in their formidable vehicle modes, transformed into their humanoid robotic forms as they approached. They questioned Nemesis Prime for his deviation from the plan.
Due to Sentinel Prime's unexpected actions, communication with Optimus Prime had been lost, and the situation looked dire. Optimus Prime's loyal followers were angry and sought answers for why he had disrupted the plan.
This was entirely out of the plan. Optimus Prime and his group had no intention of invading Earth. Their collaboration with the local life forms was meant to break H'el's blockade on solar energy, ensuring a win-win situation.
"Dare you question me?" Sentinel Prime's deep red mechanical form surged with anger, his blue pupils burning with fury. His nearly 7-meter-long twin-headed greatsword swung down towards Jazz, catching him off guard.
Jazz was cut in half by Nemesis Prime's dual-bladed greatsword in a sudden, unexpected strike. Sparks flew, and electrolytic fluid leaked from his severed mechanical body as his two halves fell to the ground. His pupils held a lingering sense of bewilderment before disappearing.
"Why?!!" Jazz's death was filled with reluctance, and before his light faded, he let out a furious and questioning roar.
Sentinel Prime planted his foot firmly on Jazz's lower body, making the steel crunch and embed itself into the thick concrete. With his 7-meter-long twin-bladed greatsword, he raised Jazz's mechanical head, speaking with anger and agony:
"For Cybertron, for our home! We can rebuild what war has destroyed!"
"This is our second home! Earth can be our home too, as we stand shoulder to shoulder with Earth's humans! Cybertronians are gods on Cybertron, yet here, they call us machines!"
"Let humans serve us as their slaves, or let them be destroyed!"
As Jazz's light faded away, his painful gaze slowly dimmed. In his final moments, he felt an overwhelming sense of guilt. As Optimus Prime's second-in-command, he couldn't grasp Sentinel Prime's intentions beforehand and had lost the ability to follow Optimus Prime's orders.
Even in death, he couldn't accept that the former Autobot leader held such cruel thoughts.
"Traitor! You've betrayed the Autobots!" Ironhide and Ratchet had already distanced themselves from Jazz when he was attacked. They wielded various weapons and attacked Sentinel Prime.
At this moment, they understood that the former leader of the Autobots had betrayed them and was secretly plotting to take over Earth.
However, a 6.7-meter-tall Ironhide and a 6-meter-tall Ratchet were dwarfed by Sentinel Prime's ten-meter height. Despite Ironhide's bravery and fearless determination, he couldn't match Nemesis Prime's exceptional combat skills. He attempted to get past Sentinel Prime's steel shield and shoot him with high-temperature lead bullets, but Sentinel Prime's expert combat techniques prevailed. With a swift rotation of his dual-bladed sword, he tore through Ironhide's radiation carbon fiber steel alloy armor and stabbed him in the heart, ending Ironhide's life.
Ratchet's combat skills were even less impressive. He wasn't skilled in battle, and his firepower consisted of a laser gun and a laser surgical scalpel meant for medical purposes, which he used in conjunction with Ironhide's attacks.
However, Ironhide fell to Sentinel Prime after just one or two rounds, and Ratchet hadn't even had a chance to join the fight. Sentinel Prime turned and blocked Ratchet's laser with his arm, and then, in close combat, he severed Ratchet's laser surgical scalpel with his dual-bladed sword. Ratchet's arm was severed, sparking and oozing fluids.
Sentinel Prime pressed Ratchet down with his towering height and weight, causing the dismembered arm to emit agonizing pain.
"The history of the Autobots ends here," Sentinel Prime uttered with pain and deep sorrow, heavy with grief.
The millions of years of civil war between the Autobots and the Decepticons had shattered Cybertron, their home planet. Once, he had led the Autobots against the Decepticons, earning a glorious reputation and the admiration of all Autobots. They had celebrated his wisdom and honor.
However, no one could have foreseen that he, the leader who had once fought alongside Autobots against the Decepticons, would ultimately be the one to doom the Autobots.
Sentinel Prime raised his colossal seven-meter-long twin-bladed sword, preparing to strike down Ratchet, the last Autobot standing, and bring an end to the centuries-long civil war on Cybertron. Just as he was about to deliver the final blow, a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) was launched directly at him, exploding in front of his eyes, causing him to stagger.
He looked up.
Harold arrived with his troops, their heavy machine gun bullets relentlessly pounding Sentinel Prime, causing sparks to fly from his body.
"I knew you machines couldn't be trusted!" Harold bellowed, issuing orders, "Fighter jets, target the red transport pillar! Tanks, advance and target Sentinel Prime!"
"F-22 Raptors reporting instrument malfunction, radar malfunction, precision-guided missile control failure! Unable to operate! Warning, unable to operate!"
"Tanks reporting electronic equipment malfunction! Unable to drive! Unable to drive!"
Harold's heart skipped a beat as he looked at Sentinel Prime. Sentinel's body, which had grown weary from millions of years of infighting between Autobots and Decepticons, was now filled with anger, sadness, and bitterness, and all of these emotions were turning into rage.
Sentinel extended the barrel from his arm in a fit of fury. He directly bombed the gathered troops, causing them to scatter. Heavy machine guns mounted on jeeps were blown away, armored vehicles and tanks that had not yet arrived were engulfed in flames and black smoke.
Sentinel Prime's ten-meter-tall mechanical form was an embodiment of ruthless anger. He waded into the crowd that had showered him with bullets, launching a massacre.
The entire battlefield resounded with the cries of steel shattering and human agony. Harold was thrown back by the shockwave and lay on the ground, his determined square face now blackened, his facial features scorched by the blazing heat, exuding waves of searing heat. His ears were ringing, and his perception slowed.
In his hazy vision, he looked up through the twisted air filled with smoke and saw Sentinel Prime striding through the battlefield, like an unfeeling machine, cleansing the area of flesh and blood, until he finally stood before him.
Harold only felt the scorching breath spreading from the barrel on Sentinel Prime's hand.
With a deafening roar, Harold was obliterated by Sentinel Prime.
With this, the war that Sentinel Prime had long prepared for, involving humans and three Autobots, came to an end.
Having vented his rage, Sentinel Prime raised his head and looked at the slowly emerging Cybertron in the sky, showing a smile filled with profound pain and sorrow.
Then, he turned to walk back toward the vicinity of the Space Bridge transport pillar, intending to guard it. However, he saw a carbon-based life form clad in black skintight battle armor, with intense and intriguing eyes, fixated on the transport pillar.
Sentinel Prime froze in his tracks.
