Convergence

-Barry Allen Aka the Flash pov-

I sped around Central City once more looking out for any aliens and yet again nothing came up, I was debating going to help the other cities when I saw a hulking white figure transform into a regular-looking human before my very eyes.

I steeled my nerves and disappeared from my spot, reappearing behind the imposter I struck.

*BANG!* the Alien was launched into the ally wall, and pieces of brick shot out from the impact point.

Easily I dodged them and witnessed the imposter slowly turn into his real alien form. Despite my easy win, I didn't feel good. There could be more that I didn't even see shapeshift out in my city right now.

The thought unnerved me.

-Wonder Woman's pov -

I flipped over one of my opponents, and my blade glinted under the sun as it swung down. The Alien phased through the attack, then brought its fist back and struck.

*swoosh!* I had no time to dodge, no time to reposition myself

*bang!* as his fist connected I felt some pain but not enough to seriously harm me *pah!* I collided with the building behind me as I sailed through the air

I lifted myself from the ground, a frown etched upon my face as I watched the alien approach me.

I felt something prick at my mind but, that was about it. The Alien seemed confused as he saw no reaction to whatever he did.

I took the lasso from my side and held it in my left hand while my sword was in my right. Sheathing my sword I took the shield on my back and held it in a throwing position.

As the Alien approached closer and closer I waited for the perfect opportunity.

I acted in an instant, the shield left my hand sailing at an impressive speed toward my opponent.

My lasso was not far behind it, and my legs were not frozen in place but on the move.

The Alien phased through my shield and my lasso, but as the alien became corporal I yanked on the lasso catching it off guard. Catching the Alien I pulled him close and stabbed him speedily in the heart.

"Gah you are already doomed," the alien spat as it became limp in my lasso

-Lucas Pov -

Dembe and I stood in front of two separate beds. In one laid my sister and in the other Oliver.

Right now we were in my suitcase, I found Thea in an ally passed out with White Martians desd all around her.

The most curious thing was that they seemed to have died from fighting each other, it made no sense.

"Do you think she got an ability like me from the particle accelerator?" Dembe asked

I didn't reply right away, my eyes drifted between my siblings. Both lay still in their respective medical beds, it made me curse this invasion all the more.

"Azreal?" Dembe's voice snapped me from my thoughts

I looked at him and sighed, "I'm not sure,"

"Arghh!" Oliver suddenly jerked awake with a groan escaping his lips

He looked up at me and was about to say something when I motioned to Thea, even if she was fast asleep I don't want any possibility of her knowing my identity yet.

"Azreal," Oliver said while slowly sitting up

"Arrow," I replied with a nod before adding, "you were badly injured, your coms were completely destroyed and your identity was almost revealed. Maybe add a little more than just the hood and small domino mask. I don't have a way to contact your team so they probably think you died," Quickly I briefed him on what happened

He nodded thoughtfully but I could see he was still sore, "thank you for saving me," he mumbled

I checked softly, "I will always save you, now the eavesdropper should stop hmm?" I said motioning to Thea

"'I will always save you' what are you guys gay? No shame from me I mean" was the first words from my dear sisters mouth

"..."

"...."

"..."

"No, we aren't. Now, do you mind telling us what happened?" I asked her curiously

"Woah, I can't believe this dream is so realistic. It's almost like the real Azreal and Arrow are here along with this other guy," she said pointing at Dembe who still doesn't have a cape name

"It's not a dream," I replied cooly

"Hahahahaha ha? Ha ha ha.... You aren't joking," suddenly she backed against the head board of the bed

"Th-this is crazy!" she shouted

"The two vigilantes of star-"

"Please just tell us what happened," I cut her off

My sister fangirling in front of me was extremely awkward.

She stopped talking and seemed to think before replying quietly, "I was walking back to my car from my boyfriend's when those aliens came out of nowhere. One second they were rushing to kill me and I was really scared and the next they were all attacking each other,"

My mind was thinking of every possibility of what type of ability she had if she even did have one. the protections I gave her would not have done all of that.

"Were you thinking anything specific when they started to rush at you?" I asked curiously

"Umm, only that they would attack....each other instead!" she exclaimed as if she reached a sudden conclusion

"I can warp reality!" she said with confidence

I scoffed, "yeah, no,"

-break-

I dropped Thea back at her house, I didn't come to any conclusion on what her ability is but, I couldn't really delve into it right now seeing as the invasion is taking up the bulk of my focus. I was back in my suitcase this time my mask was off. Oliver sat across from me and Dembe was outside.

"With how things ended I didn't expect you to come back for this city," he said while leaning against the headrest

I thought about what I should say to him, and eventually, I said screw it and spoke my most recent feelings.

"Oliver, I will always come back for this city. Just as I will always be there for you and Thea. Even if we fight and say things we probably don't mean. You are my brother and whether we like it or not we are stuck together."

"Lucas, *sigh* Lucas you are my brother, and honestly I couldn't wish for anyone else to take your place. Thank you for coming back and saving my life," he got up and brought me into a hug

My arms felt heavy as I brought them up slowly and hugged him back, "I couldn't agree more," I said to him

If I wasn't as strong my brother would be dead, and if I didn't have my magic he would have died.

I would have lost him forever and the worst part would have been the fact that we had an argument before.

Lifting my hands from behind his back I touched my face and felt wetness. Tears were slowly sliding down my face.

-Batman pov -

We need to figure out how to put a stop to this quickly, as more Martians show up the less likely we are to fully get rid of them.

Sadly, each of us 'heroes' and 'vigilantes' is located in different cities making it hard to personally meet and discuss battle strategy.

Like a lightbulb flicking on in my head, I reached for my encrypted phone and began to dial the number Superman gave me when we first met.

[Bonus]

A man dressed up as a particular insect was having the time of his life. He was setting up a personal business account on DCO and other sites, of course, he was trying to sell his flamethrowers.

The number of times people asked to buy one when they seem him walking around decimating the aliens is astounding.

He was the firefly, so of course, people would buy from him when flames are involved.

"So I have the home kit, work kit, and personal kit which would you like?"

"What's the difference?" The young couple asked

"The size and how many throwers you get,"

"I will get the home kit,"

"Cash or installments?"
