Chapter 4 Just name your price

Earth.

Gotham City.

Wayne Enterprises.

The office of Mr. Wayne is located on the very top floor of the Wayne tower and there is only one office room besides tha conference room on this floor, so leaving the elevator there wasn't any confusion for Rahul or need to ask anyone for directions.

"Mr. Wayne is waiting inside. " says a young lady with short dark hair that reaches to her shoulders before she fixes her round glasses after the lift door opens as she saw Rahul walk out from it.

"Do I need to knock on the door, Ms? " asks Rahul with a polite smile looking at her before fixing his square glasses 'Maybe she is keeping an eye on me the whole time, this should explain why was I feeling being stared at. '

"There is no need for such formalities since Mr. Wayne asks me to send you in immediately after your arrival. " informs the young lady with a serious face while taking a closer look at Rahul since this is the first time they are looking at one another 'Not high-class clothing as I would expect from a commoner from a developing country and average looking. '

"Then I will excuse myself first. " says Rahul with a smile before walking in front of the door which has a Sign, (CEO of Wayne Enterprises: Bruce Wayne) on it.

"One more thing, call me Secretary Sarah or Sarah next time, not Ms. " says Sarah from her desk with a serious face before Rahul can open the door.

"I will keep that in mind. " says Rahul with a nod before he takes another look at her then opens the door of the office just to find a dark-haired man in his 30s kissing a young lady who is sitting on his lap which caused him to push on his step before asking "Maybe I am intruding in something important, so call me once you are done. "

"No, Mr. Roy you don't need to we are already done. " hearing the door clicking sound the man and woman were already done kissing since it broke the atmosphere upon hearing Rahul's suggestion as the man quickly asks parting from the woman.

"Come on Bruce we haven't even started yet. " says the beauty on his lap before she puts her hand on the face of Bruce Wayne before she moves her face closer for another kiss.

"Sorry, sweetheart this is important. " avoiding the lips of the woman says, Bruce. Wayne shaking his head with a helpless tone.

"Fine don't forget to call me once you are free. " says the woman with an unhappy tone but didn't forget to kiss him on the cheek before she leaves his lap and casting an irritated glare at Rahul before walking out of the room.

"Your reputation is well-fitting, Mr. Wayne. " after the door closed behind him says Rahul with a chuckle.

"What can I say ladies can't resist me. " replied Bruce Wayne with a shameless smile before chuckling.

"Yes, I can see it very clearly from their actions. " says Rahul without argument since there is no point in denying the truth and it's not his problem if they are after the wealth of Bruce Wayne or truly have feelings for him, does he.

"Enough about me let's get to the point for my invitation for you today but first take a seat. " said Bruce. Wayne with a smile before pointing at the chairs in front of him.

"Thank you, Mr. Wayne," says Rahul with a smile before he sat down on the middle chair.

"Although you were appointed for the post of an assistant scientist under Lucius Fox however when I had another look at your CV and your information I decided to appoint you a separate laboratory for your usage. " says Bruce. Wayne with a smile earning a surprised look from Rahul before he explains "I know you might be wondering why do I allow an outsider to work on something so important as Nuclear Fusion without supervision but I am truly helpless since there is nobody better than you in the Wayne Enterprises.

So I don't want you to work under someone who has less knowledge than you and have a chance to obstruct your progress. "

"Although I appreciate your goodwill but aren't you being a little over-generous at me? " hearing the explanation from Bruce Wayne there was no way for Rahul to stop himself from asking.

"It's alright even if we aren't going to assign someone above you but you will be working for me and I will be keeping an eye on you and the assistants will also be a part of Wayne Enterprises. " says Bruce Wayne with confidence.

"If you don't have a problem then why should I hesitate. " says Rahul with a smile before he signed the agreement to get the individual laboratory for his experiment since he will be promoted even before showing actual work why not.

"Good to know you aren't afraid just don't do something that will make you regret in the future. " says Bruce Wayne with a smile but from his tone, you can be sure of his warning if you wrong the company then you are done for.

"I am well aware of my situation Mr. Wayne don't worry I don't want to go against a giant like Wayne Enterprises. " says Rahul with a reassuring smile when he tried to get up from his seat before saying "Now that we are done with the agreement can I visit my laboratory. "

"Why are you in a hurry I am not done yet. " says Bruce Wayne gesturing to Rahul to stay in his seat for a while more.

"Is there anything more you want from me, Mr. Wayne? " asks Rahul with surprise on his face when he was stopped by Bruce Wayne.

"Yes but, first l want you to have a look at this. " says Bruce with a smile before cricks on his phone and played the video where you can see Rahul flying at the end of Chapter 1.

"Where did you get this Mr. Wayne. " asks Rahul in surprise it's not because he didn't know about this video but it's because he destroyed this video from the internet within a few minutes after it was uploaded 'I was too careless at that time, I should have created a virus of it back then. '

"With my position, it's not much work if I want something.

Anyhow you don't need to worry about it getting spread online just give me the device you used to fly at that time. " says Bruce with a reassuring smile.

'Since I am a scientist and have no abnormalities in my blood it looks like he thinks I have used some advanced technology and it's a good thing I erased the memory of my Ki manipulation from Sunil's mind before leaving India. ' thought Rahul with a sigh of relief before he explains "If you want to use this to get the technology from me without paying then forget about.... "

"Then how much or what do you want in exchange for that gadget just name your price. " before Rahul can even deny interrupted Bruce Wayne.
