Is this what if feels like?

I came to that conclusion after making 2 main points.

First of all, There's no way she'd know about that guy's powers but the actual Guide doesn't.

Second of all, she's been staring at him for quite a while. I didn't know that James was the newbie if I'd known that I'd have come to that conclusion long ago.

And possibly ran away, but before I'd realised that. I'm already inside the Base now.

I'm inside the dungeon type thing.

This is how we entered the dungeon.

"So this is the place? Isn't this just an open area?"

"Well it's not 7 yet so wait a minute. The moment it's seven o clock-"

I was about to investigate and make sure I was really the target but before I could confirm and run away

Some kind of portal showed up below me, the watch I wore was glowing and than in an instant Me and Ariel were sucked inside.

While both James and The pink haired girl said they had something to do and will soon join.

We were sucked inside and there I saw a lot of monsters.

"Don't panic, think for a second. Try to manifest your powers than only can you take care of these monsters."

"Well than."

I tried to manifest my power, I was concentrating like my life depended on it and tried my best to bring it out.

"Hyaaaaa"

Hmm, nothing came out. It was useless.

I looked at Ariel and she looked a bit disappointed, she sighed and said.

"It's alright, I don't really understand why it's not coming out. What do I do."

She caressed her forehead with her fingers while closing her eyes.

"Well you still have 2 more days so think properly, if you don't manage to manifest your powers you will die."

Even if I don't you'll just kill me anyway, if I don't do anything now these 3 will definately kill me.

"Hey we are back."

"Ooh, you guys are finally here. James I'm so glad to see you."

"Haha, you were that makes me happy. Hey Alan."

"Hi."

"How's the raid going?"

"It's not going well as you can see, this guy can't use his powers well *sigh*"

"Well don't worry now that I'm here this raid is as good as done.

CONTROL"

He casted and showed his hands towards the monsters and suddenly the monsters started acting wierdly.

They were brutally assaulting their prey but the prey weren't us but each other.

This guy, he has the power to control monsters? That's insane.

After a but of time they killed each and soon enough none were left.

"Are we done here?"

"Nope, there are 2 more stages left."

"What there are two more below this?"

There are more stages?

"Well yes and each stage is higher and more powerful than the other. So you'll have to brace yourself." Said Ariel.

Ariel and The pink haired girl stopped the monsters from coming near me,

and if they even managed to scrape me I'd be as good as dead,

since they wouldn't be able to involve themselves if the monsters made contact with me.

That's the thing really, why are they protecting me. If they let the monsters make contact with me wouldn't that mean I'd be dead without any resistance?

So what's the reason behind them protecting me.

Still just in case I stayed away from them, so I wouldn't be cought off guard when they attacked me.

I always had my guard up and was trying my best to awaken my powers.

So I can get out of here, because if I don't than they will definately kill me.

Haa?

The moment we took care of the 2nd floor and went to the 3rd one, the monsters were there staring at us.

They were really big, they had the height of titans but had the build of ogres.

They were big and powerful, and everyone were awestruck to see such a monster but than

"Welcome to my den."

"What the? What are you doing."

"I mean, isn't it obvious? I'm one of the 200 commandoes of the demon army

now that you have taken care of the half a percentage of our mighty monster empire, I've come to take care of you."

"So it was true afterall, only the commandors have the ability to control monsters, it's not information that's known to everyone but the top."

"So you knew, how?"

"I was told by one of my friends before he died."

She seemed sad when she said that.

What is going on? Why is this guy a demon commandor? Just 2 months ago he was just a rich guy who bought a poisonous something.

"Let me tell you something, I think you are mistakenabout something. You aren't a demon commandor or some such, demon commandoes are much more fiersome than the likes of you."

"Hasn't your tone changed a little? What happened to clinging onto me like you were in love with me?"

"Obviously that was an act, we are here to kill you afterall."

"Hahahahaha you really think you can kill me? These monsters were made to go against your powers."

"Well see about that. Let's do this lisanna."

"Alright."

What's going on right now? I don't understand.

Why are they fighting against each other aren't they supposed to be after me because I have some kind of forbidden power or something.

They pulled in various types of attacks but none of them seemed to work.

"What? How is this possible? It's holy powers, there's no way they wouldn't work against demons."

"Haha, whana know the secret? They have holy magic too."

"www.... What.. did. You just... Say? THATS NOT POSSIBLE."

"Hey calm down, he's probably bluffing. Plus if they have holy powers they can't hurt us either."

"Yaa that's true. But, what if they crushed you with their physical powers?"

They are ogres afterall and they are 3 metres tall. They will definately crush them.

So all this time, I wasn't really the target was I.

They are getting hurt there and here I am happy about not being a target of killing.

But, there's no way I'm letting her dye.

"Aaaahhhhhhhhhhj"

I shouted my lungs out and ran towards them, not knowing what to do.

Than at a moment's notice Ariel pushed me behind and took the damage I was supposed to take

"What are you doing? You could have died if that thing hurt you."

"Haa, it's truly sad that you are trying to protect someone like him. He was a loser, he is and always will be. He can't even use his powers after getting powers from someone like you? Don't you think it's pathetic."

Everything he said was kinda right, I didn't want to seem like I rejected any of that that would make me look conceited.

As much as I wanted to pluck his eyes off and play football with them, I couldn't.

I had no powers, how could I awaken them, I didn't know, do I even have any? I don't know.

What am I supposed to do? Ariel is in trouble and I can't even awaken some stupid power.

I think your chosise is the worst Ariel.

"I think your choice is the worst Ariel, it was that guy before and now him.

You always end up finding the most useless ones Outta all the choices you have."

She seemed a bit angry when he said that.

"Don't you dare talk about Phillip, you don't have the right to. You fkin piece of shit."

She shouted, I was surprised to see her usual calm self burst out in anger.

She pulled the arm of that monster and crushed it with her bare arms.

"What how is this possible?"

She was looking at her arm as if wondering to herself the exact same question.

"And he."

She pointed her fingers towards me

"I didn't chose him, I'd never chose someone like him."

So, it's true she does hate me afterall.

Why?

"As I said, your choices are the worst."

"No, they aren't. I chose a good one back than. He was my best choice "

Why are you so cold towards me, does she really hate me for complimenting her? That kinda pisses me off.

"No, if I chose him than he'd be my best choice ever."

What? I don't understand, is she talking about me?

"Him? The best choice, that's almost funny."

It is isn't it. But I don't want you saying that you fkturd.

"He was chosen by the upper authority."

"What?"

Hmm, why was he so surprised, who are these people?

"He is the core of the prophecy."

The moment she said prophecy the whole floor became silent

"I've heard that before, but I can't quite remember."

"The 7 heroes? Rings a bell?"

"No way, this guy? Hahahahaha that'd funny and also it might be fate that if he really is one of those than I can just kill him before he buds into a monster."

"No way I'm letting you."

"What the hell is going on here, I don't understand a bit of what's going on here."

"Listen here alan, you are the only one who can take care of these monsters so I just want you to do one thing."

"Can you atleast explain what's going on?"

"I'll do that later but before that I just want you to do one thing."

"What?"

"Believe."

"What?"

"I want you to believe in powers and yourself."

"What? I-"

"Just shut up and listen to me alright, I've been thinking about it for a while and the reason you can't use your powers is because you don't believe you have powers or rather you think you are incompetent to have them and that's why they aren't manifesting."

"How is that possible? I don't believe in it because they aren't manifesting not the other way around."

"What do you think will happen if you think you can't do something? Your brain can't imagine it because your brain doesn't believe in it."

"Is that possible?"

"Just shut up and think, manifest it into your body and it will work we don't have much time so do it now."

"Alright."

"If you close your eyes you will feel images of it so try and manifest it and it'll work."

"If you say so."

I closed my eyes and tried to imagine it but nothing was happening, I went in deeper and my concentration was completely focused on the darkness in my eyes.

That's when I saw something moving in my eyes, I focused on that and moved my eyes depending on where it was going.

Than I saw an image and tried to manifest it

U opened my eyes and saw something on my arm

"What is that? There's no way that's one of the --"

Before he could finish I instinctively threw the thing on my arm he tried to use the monsters as shields but they kept piercing the monsters and went straight through James.

And with that his core was destroyed.

And in an instant I'd defeated around 7 Titan Ogres and A demon Commandor.

Alright I don't understand what just happened.

A bit confused, I looked around and than someone tapped on my shoulder

"Told you didn't I, you can do it if you try. Don't try to let the world define you because you aren't a loser. Aah I'm going to sleep I haven't been as exhausted before."

She than fell onto me.

She had fallen on my arms and I sat down and let her sleep on my lap.

There stood The pink haired girl, her name was Lisanna if I'm correct I than pulled the spear and pointed it towards her.

"Hey, hey, hey I'm an ally. I just wanted to see the spear."

I gave her the spear,she didn't seem like a bad person and Ariel did saythat she was a good person.

So I trusted her.

"I can't believe it, it really is true. The Electrolytus is real.

The legendary weapon that once bought down the demon king.

The weapon of The God of electro and also one of the 7 heroes of light."

The weapon next to me was sparkling and oozing out electricity and I was unable to control it and because of the overwhelming force the corpses of monsters were getting destroyed. And there was nothing left of them.

What is this damn weapon anyway and why can't I control it.

"Just close your eyes and put it back from where you saw it."

"O.. ook."

I closed my eyes and than thought of the image I had before andthere was a white image

"You see a white image right? Imagine putting the spear back into that space and it'll go inside "

So I did as she told me and than imagined putting it insdethe image and than the blank image was filled with the spear but this time the spear wasn't blurry but it was as clear as any you can see.

I opened my eyes only to see I was in my bed and Ariel was sitting next to me nursing me.

"Ooh you are up, I'm glad. Now here have some food."

What is this feeling, I've never felt it before. It's different from how I've felt when I fell for Isabel of Rose.

Is this what it feels like to see someone other than your mother and sister take care of you?

"Good morning darling."

"What did you say?" She said with a disgusted look.

"Nothing, just wanted to say that. Don't know if I'll ever get another chance."

"Hmm, you probably will."

"what does that mean?"

"Ooh, big bro you are up. Are you alright?"

"Yaa I'm alright."

It felt a bit awkward to see Ariel right now so I didn't make eye contact with her.

No way right? But most of all I need to know what the hell was all that.

The demon king? the 7 heroes of light? the god of electro? And that electric spear Electrolytus or whatever it's called.

After going through all this I can officially confirm that I do not understand shit.
