At first, I do not understand why she would be doing such a thing, no one wants to be lonely. But it was only later that realized that she had been unconsciously waiting for dad. Yeah, it is a thing about the merpeople, anyone who has canal knowledge with the merpeople will forever have a connection with them.

"Hmm... Are you asking me out on a date? Tell me."

I teased her and she burst into laughter.

"Hahahaha, oh my God! What kind of a son are you? Hahaha. You will not kill me, I swear."

She said and laughed.

"Hahaha answer me mom, are you? If you are, feel free to do it the proper way. I don't understand why you have to bend words."

I asked her again.

"God! What did I do to deserve such a sweet heartbreak for a child? Ok... Hmm... Damian, will you please go out with me for a dinner on Saturday?" 

She said.

"Say it like you mean mom."

I said.

"Ok, my love, please, it will do me great pleasure if you will go out with me on a date. So, will you do me the pleasure of going out with me?"

"Hmm... I will think about it."

So I said.

"Seriously? Common answer me now joor, look at his big head gold head like a golden world cup, hahaha."

She teased me again.

"Ah! Me? Hmm... Ok o, now to be sincere mom, I will go with you on one condition."

So I said.

"A condition? Tell me about it."

So she asked.

"The condition is that Cynthia comes with us."

I explained

"What? Do you want Cynthia to go with us? Don't you know that I have to take permission from her parents and even her as well?"

She said.

"Common mom, you and I know that It is not going to be that hard for you. So why are you acting like it is one hard job? All you have to do is to just try and convince her parents, after all the mother is your friend, not just any friend, a very good friend. Don't worry about convincing Cynthia, I will deal with her part."

So I said. Well, mom agreed with the idea, ao we ate on.

As we continued with our eating, mom kept staring at me, giving the look a corp will give to a suspect, I noticed that she had just started suspecting me and Cynthia. Oh God, why must blurt, see now, mom might be angry with me. So I quickly probed her mind to get what she was actually thinking in her mind,  well it turned out that could even be happy if we dated, but she will rather keep it to herself.

"Mom, what is it."

So I asked as I noticed she wasn't truly angry about anything.

"Tell me, what is going on between you two?"

She asked.

"Mom! Why did you ask this?"

"Hmm, just take your time oo, and be and be careful, in fact, mind yourself."

Mom said.
