Chapter 60: Clean all Traces

Later in the evening when mom came home, she came back looking even more stressed than she usually was. Before she came back, I made sure that I had cleaned all traces of the act that was committed or nearly committed in the house between Cynthia and me. I also have already prepared dinner for us. Well, it may seem like mom and I rationed the chores of the house, she will be in charge of making the breakfasts while I in charge of the dinner making, well it was not exactly so, no one allocated any duty to anyone, we just did it because we cared for each other, I often make dinner because I know that my mom usually returns home late, tired and hungry, so, it will not be fair that I will wait for her to return home to start making diner for us to eat. Mom had made a lot of sacrifices for me, and she will even do more, so, that is why I do anything within my power to assist her. 

That day she came home looking tired and worn out by stress, so I quickly made her warm water which she used for her shower after which she came out for diner, as she was in the shower I have already arranged the table for the diner, she was very excited and happy with me, she looked at me with grateful eyes and a fallen lips and with her palms joint together like she was about to pray, and she said to me:

"Oh my sweet baby, what can I do without you? You are just perfect honey, I love you Damie"

When she said this I blushed and smiled. My mom will never forget to thank and praise me for every single thing did. And I must confess that I love those praised, yeah! I love it a lot. one of the reasons why I do what I do was because of those praises.

As we both eat at the dining table, we discussed. Hmm... Well, we are not the type to keep quiet when eating, its not like we do not respect table manners, but important discussions are made during dinner in my home.

"Aha! Damie, I don't know your schedule on Saturday evening, will you be able to go to a dinner party with me? A colleague of mine is celebrating her birthday, and she intends to make it look like a diner party, and you know how I feel about being out at night alone, so please honey, will go follow me?"

So she said, well, my mom, she had always been weird, since I started noticing things I have never seen my mom with sny man as her's, in fact, she tries her best the way she can to stop any attempt of an approach from a man, and today, I think she was trying to cockblock another potential suitor from coming her way again tonight.
