Excitement!

Chapter 26: Excitement!

The sun had begun to set, so Fang Yuan hurried. The first thing he did after exiting the gym was to reach the bus station and use the free travel feature.

Fang Yuan's heart was hanging in his throat, and he only calmed down when the bus conductor allowed him to sit after showing the identity card.

Time flew by, and several minutes passed in a flash.

When Fang Yuan returned, his mother had already come back from work and was in the kitchen. Since Fang Yuan was tired due to the tests, he simply greeted her and walked to his room.

Fang Zan and Fang Hua were about to rush when their mother stopped them.

"Your brother must be tired from the gym, so let him rest."

The two siblings immediately stopped and returned to their room. Even though only fifteen-year-olds could enter sects and start their education, there were still books for younger students, so they wouldn't waste those years simply playing.

Fang Yuan didn't sleep but sat down in a meditative posture and started channeling Qi like what was written in the cultivation art. The first three levels in the Qi refining level were used to enhance limbs.

Fang Yuan was already at the late level of the Second level of Qi refining and had already fully enhanced his two hands to the limit. Only his legs were left.

Only a few seconds had passed when Fang Yuan opened his eyes. He couldn't make himself meditate due to the excitement of all the stuff that had happened earlier in the day.

He not only joined the Wushu Martial Gym, but he also traded spiritual liquid with Shengong Linfang. He had promised his mother that he would step into the third level of Qi refining before the end of the year, but with the help of the liquid, he would surpass that goal by several months.

Fang Yuan's birthday was in the month of March, and there were still nine months left before the end of the year. Cultivating with the liquid would allow him to touch the late level of the third level of Qi refining until the end of the year.

He couldn't help but feel happy, imagining the look of joy on his parent's and siblings' faces after he got into a major sect in the city.

Fang Yuan still didn't dare to imagine getting admission into any of the seven sects since the minimum requirement to get into them was the sixth level of Qi refining. He was very far from achieving that level.

If he had gotten the Broken Pagoda a few years earlier and then traded spiritual liquid, then there would have been chances. But now even with resources, he didn't have enough time. To be honest, Fang Yuan didn't even want to get into any of the seven major sects after getting the Broken Pagoda.

The strongest of humanity on the Qingtian continent belonged to those seven forces, and using Broken Pagoda midst them was extremely risky.

Time flew by, and hours passed in the blink of an eye.

After doing his daily training of basic exercises, Fang Yuan walked to the bathroom. He then opened the tap, and while the water was accumulating in the tub, he thought of the storage space.

The next moment, his consciousness was inside the storage space. No matter how many times Fang Yuan had done it, he always felt wondrous.

Consciousness was a mysterious concept that only powerful cultivators could delve into, but he came into contact with it only as a low-level cultivator.

He then transferred the only high-quality tree into the storage pouch given to him by Shengong Linfang. He then returned to the bathroom and poured a mug of cold water over him.

"Senior, here is the tree," Fang Yuan respectfully handed the pouch to Shengong Linfang.

Shengong Linfang nodded and took the pouch. He then took out the tree and returned the pouch. It could still be used twice, so one more trade could be done with it.

Shengong Linfang's eyes widened in shock when he felt the richer hint of laws on the tree. As expected, the hint in the high-quality tree was twice compared to the middle-quality.

"Do you have more of these?" Shengong Linfang immediately asked.

If he could only trade with high-quality trees, he would not only be closer to his goal but also might surpass it.

Fang Yuan didn't immediately reply but an expression of hesitation appeared on his face. He didn't even know the tree was high-quality before the Broken Pagoda told him. If there were one, there might be some more in the forest, but he couldn't distinguish between the two, and he wasn't extreme enough to dig up many trees at once for that.

"Senior, I am not certain about it. I got it only by luck," Fang Yuan honestly replied.

Shengong Linfang frowned when he heard Fang Yuan, but nodded after listening to his second statement.

"If I dig up another high-quality tree, I will sell it to you."

"It's fine by me," Shengong Linfang smiled. The next moment, a small bottle, and a card appeared out of thin air in his hands.

Fang Yuan's breathing turned rapid when he saw the bottle. He hurriedly looked around and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw no one was looking at their table.

"You don't need to worry about others seeing our deal. I always use formations to block others from seeing what is happening on this table."

Shengong Linfang decided to be honest with his trade partner and informed him of the formation.

Fang Yuan had a look of understanding on his face. He finally understood why others didn't look at the table whenever Shengong Linfang gave him a large bag of spirit stones or coins.

His face also turned red from awkwardness, but it all disappeared when he looked at the bottle again.
