I closed my eyes and thought carefully. I honestly didn't care about the resources, as I was getting enough food and water daily. Even though the food was quite limited and probably tasted terrible to the others, it didn't affect me. My body could function well on the current rations, and I couldn't taste anything, anyway.
"Bram, what's the latest with your group?" I asked.
"With the recent additions, my group has grown to nearly forty. They've been handling the hunting and providing coats efficiently," he replied. "But if you want the best ones, there are twenty."
Very good, thirty soldiers would be sufficient for this task.
"Do they have enough energy to move immediately?" As soon as I asked, the expressions of everyone at the table shifted, except for Bram, who remained calm and answered:
"They have more than enough energy for anything, especially those who followed Margo before."
