Cosmic Cultivation

Year 2033 The time the game came out, the world was taken by storm. 'Realm of Immortals' changed things for everyone. It was a game where anyone can be anything, a villain, a prince in shining armor, or a blacksmith. It was the first full-dive game, a revolution to technology. But... the world of that game favours the strong, so all players are pumped up to play it with it's realistic feature; calling it a second world would not be far off. Silas, an extraordinary 19 year old man who works at a bank and buys the game to pass away time and have fun, finds himself as the weakest player inside the realistic cultivation MMO. He was mad, he was angry, he just wanted to have fun, even the NPCs in the game harass and make fun of him. What led to this... He couldn't use Qi... The energy which all cultivators use to grow stronger... He was about to quit the game, when a glitch happened, a dark force was able to infiltrate the system, and Silas found himself in a forbidden place which was hated by the heavens. There, he found his purpose, using an energy that was the opposite of Qi. He gave himself a mission, to change how things were in this so called heavens, and create a better world where everyone isn't always fighting for power. _____ TAGS:- Assasin, reincarnation, gods, cultivation, martial arts, smart MC, Weak to overpowered, villain, virtual reality, video games. ___ My other books; Vampire god in the apocalypse, Lord MMORPG: The demon progenitor. 19. The rebels.

Silas didn't know how the guy prompted him to be powerful. If he was powerful, he wouldn't worry about staying low key.

"I'm sorry, I just want to sell beast cores." Silas said and then he brought out a ring from his pocket and then held it above the counter.

The space below the ring morphed as more than 100 spirit cores poured out and then the shop owners brow raised in shock as he now wondered how powerful this person was to have killed this amount of beasts.

'Only powerful cultivators above spirit king realm can conceal their aura. He caught my throw, and then he has more than 130 spirit cores from beasts at the Spirit duke and spirit king stage along with some lower levels.' the shop keeper analysed and then he bowed from within the shop.

"Mister, there are a totals of 137 spirit cores which you want to sell. Out of all of them, 30 are from spirit kings while 77 are from spirit dukes. 10 are from spirit knights and then 13 are from spirit interns." The man's behavior took a 360 degrees turn.

Silas raised a brow as he noticed how the man was now acting and he was annoyed as just a moment ago the man tried to kill him. If he wasn't fast to react, he would've been dead. And the man didn't seem to care about that either. Silas just ignored the man and proceeded with the business.

"I'll let my friend here handle it." Silas gestured towards Juliet and the man looked at the demi-human beside Silas and nodded.

"Alright sir."

"Spirit king cores are prized at one million coins per core, so that's 30 million for thirty of them. Spirit duke cores are prized at 250,000 coins per core so that's 19,250,000, together 49,250,000. Spirit knight cores are prized at 50,000 coins per core so that's plus 500,000 coins. And lastly spirit intern cores are prized at 7000 coins per core. The total is 49,855,000 coins." Juliet said straight to the man's face without stopping and he was certain that the girl was also a powerful individual.

As one cultivates, so do their brain power, capacity, and speed of thought. So he now knew that the people in front of him weren't people to joke with.

'These people, I have to be careful with them. At least I know who's in charge.' The man thought and then he showed a bright smile and looked at Silas.

"Young master, the prices your friend called were accurate. I supply to sects all over the continent and those prices were a bit over the top."

"By my calculations, the total money is supposed to be 49,325,000." The man said.

A visible sweat drop slid down his face from his hair.

"What do you think?" Silas asked Juliet.

"He's trying to scam us--"

"Wait, wait, wait. Don't worry, I'll buy it. Your storage item?" The man immediately requested and then Silas stretched his left hand forward which had the storage ring on.

The man only touched a ring on his finger to Silas' storage ring and then after five seconds he sighed.

"It's done." The man said.

Silas removed the ring from his finger and gave Juliet and then After another ten seconds, Juliet nodded.

"It's complete." She said and Silas nodded towards her.

"Thanks for the trade." He said towards the man and then the man waved towards them with a smile and then he collapsed inside the shop.

"That's it for today. I'm not trading anymore." The man mumbled as he closed down the ship and locked all the windows.

...

Silas summoned a black compass from within the storage ring and it pointed towards a direction which was deeper into the kingdom and they went.

"The rebels won't listen to the likes of you!!"

Silas and Juliet heard a commotion from a distance and then they both looked there and their ears has a faint flow around it as they focused their chi in that point only.

In the distance there were two guards standing and a group of four people blocking the guards' path.

"You all just wait till our leader finds the nether." One of the men blocking the guards' said and Silas frowned at that statement and Juliet too was surprised by the bold statement.

"Just get out of the way and stop being foolish." One of the guards said in a calm tone and then the four men suddenly flew backwards with a lot of force.

"I don't know what's giving you mortals courage, but if you don't want to get killed, I suggest you don't try the nonsense you did again, pointing at me." The same guard said while the other one just kept quiet and walked away with him.

"What the hell was that?" Silas mumbled and then Juliet looked at him and then looked at a market man who shook his head at the scene.

"Let's torture that man to tell us." Juliet pointed at the merchant selling clothes not far away and then Silas shook his head.

"Well just ask, not torture." Silas corrected her and she sighed as they walked towards the store.

"Excuse me, sir. Can you tell me what that was all about? I'm quite new to Avalon." Silas said to the man and the man looked left and right.

"You're gonna tip me though." The man said and then Juliet looked up to him with a smile.

"We're not still torturing anyone." He said as he patted her head and then he looked at the man.

The man frowned as he heard them and then talking about torture and then Silas smiled at him.

"Deal. Now tell us." Silas said to the man and the man gestured for them to follow the back door.

Upon entering into the storage room from the back the man locked his windows and bolted his doors and then came to them.

There were crystals on the walls lighting up the place which also gave off a chilling aura and then the man looked at them.

"So this is exactly what just happened. It's better if you both knew so that you won't follow in the rebels footsteps." The man said and both of them nodded.

"Okay, so here's the story..."
