Cosmic Cultivation

Year 2033 The time the game came out, the world was taken by storm. 'Realm of Immortals' changed things for everyone. It was a game where anyone can be anything, a villain, a prince in shining armor, or a blacksmith. It was the first full-dive game, a revolution to technology. But... the world of that game favours the strong, so all players are pumped up to play it with it's realistic feature; calling it a second world would not be far off. Silas, an extraordinary 19 year old man who works at a bank and buys the game to pass away time and have fun, finds himself as the weakest player inside the realistic cultivation MMO. He was mad, he was angry, he just wanted to have fun, even the NPCs in the game harass and make fun of him. What led to this... He couldn't use Qi... The energy which all cultivators use to grow stronger... He was about to quit the game, when a glitch happened, a dark force was able to infiltrate the system, and Silas found himself in a forbidden place which was hated by the heavens. There, he found his purpose, using an energy that was the opposite of Qi. He gave himself a mission, to change how things were in this so called heavens, and create a better world where everyone isn't always fighting for power. _____ TAGS:- Assasin, reincarnation, gods, cultivation, martial arts, smart MC, Weak to overpowered, villain, virtual reality, video games. ___ My other books; Vampire god in the apocalypse, Lord MMORPG: The demon progenitor. The shadow veil slash is a dark art of hell, which, when used, the user turns invisible as a veil of shadow fades them into space and makes them faster. It was really an amazing technique for Silas to hold, but it's still difficult to perform with the help of chi. It's still a work in progress.

Compared to Jade Empire's first land, which Silas has never finished exploring, the kingdom was quite small, as he could see the ends and the wall was not as high as that of the empire.

Silas pulled his robe and stored it in his ring. He also stored the Abyssal Reckoner and the Hell's Gate summoning ring into his storage ring. He then pulled his ring and put it in his pocket.

"Hmm..." Seeing her master's actions, Juliet looked at him curiously and then dismissed the armor on her body to reveal her slender and sexy body in a pair of red shorts and a crop top. Her black ears above her head wiggled from time to time, and her tail moved as she looked at Silas, who seemed to be extremely focused yet not focused at the same time.

"Master?" She waved her hand in front of him.

"Hm? What happened?" Silas responded as he looked at her, and then she frowned.

"I thought you fell into a trance," She said, and they continued walking and Silas just chuckled over her words.

"I was in a state of focus. I was planning for the future." He said, and she furrowed her brows.

"That's great; master was always far-sighted." Juliet said with an excited face and then she asked, "What plans?"

"After plans. The next step if this compass works or not. If we do or don't find him here." Silas said, and Juliet nodded.

"It's not possible for the connection compass not to work; after all, you made it yourself." Juliet said, and Silas nodded.

'Seems like the role I'm playing in this game has a deep, uhhh... story to it.' Silas thought, and they just kept walking on the road towards the kingdom.

After nearly twenty-five minutes of walking and slaying beast after beast, Silas and Juliet finally reached the kingdom's large gates. Because of the open grassland in front of the city, the wind blew without any intrusions, and then just then, Silas heard an inaudible voice, and he turned around to see nothing.

Then he looked at Juliet, who was looking up, and then he looked up too see a few men talking on top of the wall, and his expression dulled as he became tired.

They didn't have to wait long as the massive gates opened up, and a few people walked forward. They were guards wearing silver armors but in a different design and form than the ones worn by the guards in the third land.

The three guards walked towards them, each emitting an aura of power.

Silas and Juliet walked towards them, and then both of them bowed.

"Who are you, and state your business here?" The woman in the middle said as she looked at a floating record in the air.

"I'm Silas. This is my close friend Juliet." Silas said, and the woman wrote it down. The two people beside her wore helmets, so Silas couldn't see their faces. But for body build alone, they were both males.

"What is your business here?" She asked, this time, looking at his face.

"I came here to meet up with an old friend." Silas said, and then the lady nodded towards the guard to her right. The guard gave Silas a talisman in his hand, and then he gave the second person the book.

"That's a two weeks stay permit. Your reasons for coming here are not very serious and will be treated as a non-important visit. If you're not out in two weeks... I think you know where I'm going." The beautiful lady said as she gestured for him to go into the kingdom. Silas and Juliet didn't complain about their conditions and just went in. They were here for someone specifically, so they weren't too bothered about the time limit.

The kingdom wasn't bustling with players, but Silas still saw a few players around who had health bars on top of their heads.

"Let's not waste time here." Silas said, and they immediately went forwards through the straight road.

The market was bustling, and compared to the large empire, things were a little bit calm in these parts.

As they walked past the market, the people here tried to sell unrecognizable fruits to Silas, but one thing was that they didn't have any money.

"Look, we can trade those spirit cores here." Silas said as he pointed at a store where a variety of spirit cores were placed outside.

"Isn't this quite risky? Placing his goods outside and he's inside." Silas said, and Juliet shook her head.

"You should be feeling a little bit of pressure from the shop. That's the power of whoever is within. They should be a spirit Duke." Juliet said, and Silas breathed out as he braced himself for the exchange yet to come.

The spirit stones were found in the body of some of the creatures Silas killed. The big ones were gotten from dangerous and powerful creatures, which were all killed by Juliet.

"Hello?" Silas said as he got close to the shop.

"You've come to rob me, mortal?" A voice came from within the shop, and Silas frowned as he felt the pressure upon him increase.

"We just want to sell beast cores." Silas said calmly, and then a man emerged from within and showed himself at the window.

The man had sleepy eyes and he was very thin and frail, which shocked Silas. The man looked at Silas and the girl beside him with a curious look as he stroked his beard. He was wearing a singlet and shorts, and then he turned around.

"Hold on." The man said as he turned and then he turned forward.

All of a sudden, the man turned to a blur, and the outline of Silas' pupils showed golden color, and he saw a small thin knife flying towards his eyes, and his arms sped up and caught it.

"What the hell was that for?" Silas asked as he put the little sword on the table there.

"I see that you're a powerful cultivator hiding his strength. What brings you to Avalon?" The shop owner asked with a respectful smile.
