"We needed you both at rock bottom," Hazel said as she came to Jake and took his hands.

His belligerence had disappeared and in its place was a more calm and contemplative Jake. He looked into his sister's eyes.

"I told you I would always look after your best interests, these are your best interest."

She then cast a glance at Cindy.

"This is a crush he has had for as long as I can remember, I cannot let him let it go all because of misunderstandings Cindy. I cannot let you do that too."

"You cannot force us into something we do not agree to," Cindy replied.

"Oh you two are in agreement, trust me." Ivy jumped in to help clarify matters having been enlightened by both the parties during their time together. "Allow me to properly introduce myself, my name is Ivy Caroline Gray, formerly Jackson. So as far as all this is concerned, though I played a role theatrical to say the least, I did not deceive anyone."
