Hundred and Six: Broken reunion.

After having chased away the cheering spectators, Cindy and Jake found a garden bench on which they sat as they stargazed. Cindy lay flat using Jake's lap as a pillow. She was in a place where she had once been and then for a long while had not been. But now she was again and she was simply loving life.

"I missed you so much. No one has the right to be missed as much as I missed you," Cindy said as she looked at Jake, her hand on his cheek getting a prickly sensation from his beard which had been recently shaved but was starting to grow again.

After having conceded to the mutual feeling all around, they had agreed to start afresh and wipe their slates clean. They had plenty of apologies to direct towards one another but they figured it would be a waste of time, precious time in which they could spend making up for the period in which they were not in each other's life.
