Being engrossed in her memories Nefertiri was feeling nostalgic. From that day forward it was a time of struggling. The Lord started to take interest in her and was treating her like a family member showing her grandmother that she doesn't have to worry. Living nearby the Lords mansion was good but for others not perfect. They lived in their respective houses.
Nefertiri felt arms around her but she felt secure. She breathed in his scent. She opened her eyes and pushed back to look at him. His red eyes were looking at her tenderly but he still didn't touch her naked skin. He was giving her the permission to do it herself. She rested her forehead on his and took his face in her hands. The energy started to circulate between them and they saw images of them being together. Each of them saw something different that was about to come.
She saw herself crying, mad at him but Zidite was trying to explain something looking at her with so much love that she couldn't be mad at him for too long. The scene changed and she was looking at her hand that had a ring on it. He was chasing after her in the woods playing some game. There were many things they saw and their hearts were beating in the same rhythm.
"I waited so long for you." He whispered softly.
She was just hearing his breathing trying to control all of the emotions swirling in her wildly.
"I didn't think that I'm going to have a soul mate." She whispered back.
He pulled her back in his arms and stood up slowly.
"Let's go back."
"Where?"
"To our home."
Nefertiri was really happy to hear him say that. She didn't want to be an outcast anymore in her own tribe. Living alone and eating alone all of the time when no one invited her for a meal. She always felt cold in her house, so alone even with the Voices around.
She took his hand and started to walk when she remembered about Misha.
"Misha!"
Zidite wasn't pleased but he knew that she can't change it. He already knew that his her guard.
"I'm here young miss."
"We are going home." That word was new to her but it felt very nice. Zidite was happy to hear her say the word home so he kissed her forehead. The warmth coming from him was reassuring giving her a sense of safety.
Misha was following behind them looking distressed. He was hoping that Nefertiri is going to be safe with her mate and he's not going to use her.
"I just bought a small apartment so you're going to feel more comfortable. I knew that you're living alone in a big house, so I thought this is going to make you feel better."
She hugged his right side tighter to herself feeling happy. Nefertiri was nervous about nothing. She's going to learn how to express herself to him slowly and there is not going to be a problem about it.
"I hope there is going to be enough room for us."
"Misha is going to be just next door at night."
"That's reassuring."
"You think so? I just want you for myself." He was showing her a cheeky smile with some teeth showing.
"Be nice."
"Yes ma'am."
They started laughing feeling light in their hearts.
Nefertiri was really happy at this moment. It felt good to just be herself with him. She didn't analyze her emotions like she normally did so she felt different but better.
"How many rooms are we going to have?" She was really curious. Do they have their bedroom together? Is he going to spend enough time home with her? What does he do for a living?
If she wouldn't be so absorbed in the facility she would knew that he's a business man and a wealthy one with really much power.
"We are going to have three rooms. The living room, bedroom and our small office so I can work from home sometimes when I'm not needed. I bought you some computers."
"I can't wait to see it!"
"Well there is a need to buy furniture. We have a nice new kitchen and a bed but the rest I'm leaving to you."
"So are going to go shopping together?!" Her eyes were sparkling like falling stars. He just wanted to melt her with him so she would never leave him.
They could feel each other's emotions slowly reaching some level of intimacy.
This day was getting better and better she just can't wait for the good days to come.
She was aware that there are going to be bad days too but that's beside it. The most important thing is communication.
Nefertiri was leading Zidite through the property and then he leased her to his car.
On their way they saw some of her people but that didn't matter even if they were pointing their fingers at her. After they got in the car she was in her own bubble of happiness.
Nefertiri didn't even notice when the short trip ended being engrossed in her thoughts.
