9 A day together

Zidite looked lovingly at Nefertiri she she was happily choosing things for their apartment. He was delighted to see her in this good mood today. She didn't really care for much in the moment thinking what do they need after she saw the state their home was in. She was joyfully showing him something when an annoying voice disrupted them.

"Isn't that Zidite?" Some woman was going their way with another friend. "I didn't know that we are going to see each other here."

Nefertiri was feeling weird as if she was drinking vinegar but why? She looked at Zidite her soul mate that didn't even look at the speaking woman. She sighed and prepared herself for a battle. She smiled gently.

"Oh I don't know you! I'm Nefertiri his fiancée, nice to meet you." They didn't agree for a wedding but she just choose to say it this way. He is hers and no one is even allowed to touch him with one finger. They can try.

She was waiting with her arms stretched to the woman for a handshake but it looked like she wasn't going to do it. The look of disbelieve was written on her face. That's good.

"I'm Nana one of his friends."

"Honey, really? And you didn't even tell me about her!" Nefertiri was holding his arm and looking at him pitifully for some explanation.

"She is just some acquaintance of a good friend of mine . I don't really know her."

"Hmm that's weird then. You're not lying to me right?" She was looking at him with those big sparkling eyes with some mischief in them.

"Of course not. I don't even remembered her name when she was at some party. She's no one of importance to me you silly fox." He gave her a peck on the lips pulling her to himself.

Nana thought that he wasn't going to be accepting after the girl said that she's his fiancé so she was left still disbelieving her ears.

"I'm sorry Ms. Sara but we need to buy new furniture to our apartment I hope you don't mind if we go our separate ways." Zidite wasn't giving her even a little bit of face. In his eyes she didn't deserve it. That shameless woman should know her place.

"O-of course not! Have a nice day!" She went her way staggering a little bit.

"I think this slapped her really hard on that cheap face of hers." Nefertiri was giggling.

"Then that's good. She should know where she belongs to." He rested his forehead on hers inhaling her scent.

"I hope she got the message."

"Mmm."

During the shopping he was really attentive and even said his own opinions so they needed to find some way to buy the things that they both liked if the other party was against something.

She was getting tired already and they still didn't get their bedroom furniture.

He hugged her gently and patted her head showing his emotions.

"I think it's time to get some food and rest a little."

"But we still have so much to buy!"

He pulled her closer to him.

"I know but we can do it later."

"You took a day off so we can spend it together buying furniture to our home." She was pouting feeling bad.

"I could even take years of leave if it means spending the time with you."

She slapped his arm gently.

"Don't be so cheesy!" She laughed out loud.

Zidite was mesmerized with her beauty in that moment. She was already beautiful beating her cold and detached self but when she smiled she could bring cities to ruins in just a second. He couldn't help himself and started kissing her with some more strength showing his possessiveness. Nefertiri was responding after her unawareness eagerly. When she felt that she couldn't breath anymore because of the rising heat he stopped. He looked in her eyes his eyes twinkling with self satisfaction.

"Let's go to eat something. Is there anything that you want to eat?"

"Let's eat some pizza!"

"As you wish my love."

Hand in hand they existed the shop and went to his car.

In the restaurant they were deciding what to get. They were just starting to get to know each other so showing their tastes to each other was a must.

Nefertiri ordered half of a pizza with rucola and the other half with cucurbit. Zidite in the other side ordered half one with fungi and the other half of it was with shrimp. He got a bowl of salat and some appetizer. He still didn't know if his woman was capable of eating this huge pizza by herself.

They got their drinks and started talking with each other's interest and what do they do for a living. He was amazed that she had her own IT company. She was a hacker and even worked for the government if she felt like it. On the other side she was getting to know him so they got to the part of his company that she already anticipated but she was left speechless when he told her that a five percent of his earnings was transferred for some orphanages, kids that needed help in poor countries or he even donated for patients that didn't have the money for their hospital bills. He got friends in the military so she should be careful around them.

After their really good dinner they went to buy their furniture this time no one disturbed them.

The girls with their partners were looking at her with envy after seeing how much attention she's getting. Where did they go wrong with their boyfriends or husbands?

Nefertiri didn't even notice the looks that they gave her. Zidite was being cautious if some of those women got the idea to target her but nothing happened.

After happily discussing the more colors her phone got a message.

She didn't look happy but took a look at it anyway just to know about the next location.
