Chapter 6

Gwen looked at the huge lizard angrily,

"Dr. Connors, what did you do, he was just an innocent person. Why did you have to involve him in our fight?!"

Gwen crazily ran towards Lizard to attack him. Although Lizard with his strength could easily break a concrete wall, it fell short in front of Gwen, who with her strength and agility easily manoeuvred around him and had him beat.

However, although Gwen's attacks kept hitting the Lizard, they could not cause effective damage.

Lizard had thick skin and flesh, and had the ability to regenerate. Even when facing Gwen's attack that could kill an ordinary person with one punch, he still did not suffer any deep injuries.

Even if he suffered a minor injury, he recovered quickly thanks to his regenerative ability.

In anger, Gwen's strength was indeed enhanced, but her stamina was also consumed very quickly, and she was out of breath not long after.

As her physical strength decreased, her speed also began to decline, and she gradually fell into a disadvantage.

Suddenly, the lizard seized a flaw in Gwen's movements and immediately grabbed one of her legs, and threw her out.

With a loud bang, a human-shaped dent was smashed on the dilapidated wall beside them.

Gwen had just obtained her powers not long ago, she still was new to all this and now she was hit so hard that she couldn't recover from the intense pain.

She struggled to stand up, but the terrifying green figure had already appeared in front of her, blocking the dim lights of the street, leaving only a lightless shadow.

Gwen heard a bang sound in her ears and before she could make anything out of it, she was kicked away.

This time she completely lost all her power to resist.

Heavy footsteps came, and Gwen tried to raise her head and struggle to get up, but to no avail.

She looked at the slowly approaching lizard man in despair, and the fear of death enveloped her.

Dr. Connors, who turned into a lizard abomination, had completely lost his humanity. She didn't think Dr. Connors would let her go.

'Am I going to die?....Hah, what did I start all this for…No, I don't want to die!'

But the severe pain from all over her body and the uncontrollable body told her that she had no power to resist anymore.

She was about to sink into the abyss of death.

At this moment, a voice suddenly came from some distance. 

The person to whom this voice belonged should have died, so Gwen thought she had hallucinations.

But when she saw the lizard stop, she knew that she had not heard it wrong!

The guy from before was still alive!

How could this be possible! ?

But the voice that came later made her confirm her guess, even though this guess was no longer possible!

"I said, have you gone nuts, you fucki*g oaf."

Seeing the lizard turned around and looking at him, Colton's mouth corners hooked a hideous arc,

"You really think that you can go around killing anyone you want, right?"

The lizard looked at Colton with some doubts in his mind, it was not possible for any human to be alive after being swatted by him.

Dr.Connors himself has a very high intelligence, but after becoming a lizard, his mental is a bit unstable, at times when he has a bit control over himself, he has a brain of his human form and the body of a monster capable of unimaginable destruction, but at other times, he is no better than a animal in true sense, at times like this, he can not think of anything other than destruction.

After seeing Colton standing in front of him, he only paused slightly, and immediately rushed towards Colton, wanting to tear the human in front of him to pieces!

Gwen saw this scene. Although she didn't understand how Colton escaped from the attack just now, she thought that he was definitely not a match for the lizard!

So she immediately reminded him "Run!"

But the next scene made her eyes widen in disbelief!

The lizard roared and rushed towards Colton.

The lizard's body looked nothing less than a tank, but his speed was not slow at all.

The reason why he looked clumsy before was because he was being compared to Spider-Woman.

In fact, his speed, agility and reaction ability were comparable to Spider-Woman, but his huge body slowed down his speed.

But this was not without benefits. The huge body reduced his speed and increased his strength.   

At this time, he rushed towards Colton, making Colton feel like he was facing a tank rushing towards him.

But for Colton, he was just that, a TANK!

Colton stretched out one hand forward, and the space around him kept overlapping, reaching a limitless level, making it impossible for any object to get close to him!

"Limitless"

Under Gwen's gaze, the huge lizard was about to hit Colton into oblivion. 

Comparing Colton with Lizard was like comparing a bike with a tank.

He could never stop Lizard's advance.

Gwen could already imagine his body being smashed to death. She couldn't bear to see what was about to happen.

However, Colton stretched out his hand and blocked in front of her. The thin arm was as easy to break as a toothpick in front of the huge lizard man.

But it was because of this thin arm, that the lizard man couldn't move forward!

Seeing this scene Gwen had many questions in her mind.

Looking at the lizard who was constantly attacking him but couldn't get any closer, Colton smiled brightly at him.

"Come on, come on, if you work harder, maybe you can touch me!"

How could the lizard, with his ferocious nature endure such a provocation? He burst out with even stronger power, his muscles all knotted, and he launched his strongest attack.

  But...

It still had no effect...

His fist was just a few centimetres away from Colton, but it was like a world's difference, and he couldn't touch it Colton all.

After testing his powers and checking where he stands with his current powers, Colton also lost his patience with Lizard and controlled the energy to fill his body.

Filling his body with energy was just a precaution Colton was taking, because he knew he could not match Lizard in pure raw strength, even if his body was strengthened.

But Colton had one thing, which was Limitless, with its help, he could easily go around the Lizard and he would never be able to hit him(Colton).

Utilising Limitless and Gojo's combat memory, he started going around the Lizard, hitting him at every moment, making him unable to defend himself.

Thanks to Gojo's memory, Colton's every attack was extremely precise and landed where it had to land.

Lizard was nothing more than a punching bag infront of him, Gwen seeing all this was shocked, she couldn't believe that the ordinary man from before was this powerful.

Thinking of ending this battle quickly, Colton jumped up and landed a kick straight on Lizard's chest, flinging him away.

With a bang, the Lizard broke through several walls and landed on the ground.

But immediately, he stood up again. Even though Colton's attack just now caused him considerable damage, he recovered immediately under the terrifying regeneration ability and his body did not have any obvious damage on it.

Gwen's pupils, which were once again filled with hope, dimmed again.

How could she forget about Dr.Connors terrifying regeneration, after all it was because of this that she was defeated by him.

Even if Colton was stronger than Lizard in terms of strength he would be tired after a bit of time. The only way possible to stop the Lizard was by ending him with one straight attack.

 One attack which is so powerful that even Dr.Connors regenerative ability won't be able to work.

 Gwen immediately reminded him "Hey, this Lizard has a very strong regenerative ability. If you can't defeat him in one go, he may kill you! Your attack must be powerful enough to overpower his ability."

Colton ignored Spider-Woman, but looked at the increasingly violent Lizard. 

After the Lizard's injuries recovered, he immediately rushed towards Colton.

A crooked smile appeared at the corner of his mouth, and he looked at the big guy in front of him and sneered, "Do you really think I can't do anything to you?"

He stretched out his palm, his fingers slightly contracted, and then his voice became indifferent, "BLUE!"
