Oden had followed Vance to steal a few things from a criminal organisation 8 Star. They had gone inside one of the 8 star bases in the black market. Vance didn't know, there were two bodyguards following him. Oden observed carefully, Vance knew a little too much about the organisation. Oden wondered how he knew so much about the organisation, plus it was a criminal organisation.
Oden and Vance were walking on the way to the leader's room. Oden wondered what they were going to do, inside the leader's room. It's like going directly to the lion's den. He hoped Vance was not going to ask permission to steal the things which are going to be auctioned. Oden wondered why he was doing it, he was not going to get anything. It would be better if he just went and killed a few more beasts. Oden wanted to test his card powers or the wolf powers, but he needed an enemy, a target.
